Listen. Was the storyling something you could never imagine in HP, much less Hermione agreeing too? Yes. Was Hermione's character not herself at all? Also yes. Was Snape not enough of a brooder and seemed to human? Unequivocally yes.

Was there plot? Mildly. Was there smut? Absolutely. I applaud Desert_Sea. Case closed. My rating stands as such:

1 star- DNF'd
2 star- read through but didn't enjoy a minute of it
3 star- enjoyed reading, may re-read
4 star- fell out of my seat, definitely re-read
5 star- a spectacular work that wrecked my very being and for that fact, may never want to touch again

There’s a lot about this one that I liked, but there were parts that annoyed me, which is why it’s a 2 star read. The premise was incredibly convoluted-even for a fanfic. The terms of the enchantment and the reason it was enacted made no sense. There were smut scenes where I didn’t know what was going on (a particular scene with books was confusing). And there were a lot of missed opportunities because it’s a shorter fic. I wanted to read Draco’s reaction to the twist. All this being said, there are some cute scenes, especially when feelings are discussed. I was entertained but I wouldn’t read it again.

I stayed up until 3:30 am to finish this. FML. thanks to whoever puts fan fiction on goodreads. At 75k words I’m counting it as a book.

2nd Full read-through. Just as good as I remembered and yes, I still shed tears when Hermione did. I need to read the other fanfics by this author.

* * *

Wow! This book completely took me by surprise! I didn't know if I'd "ship" Severus & Hermione... but damn do I now! I loved them together, I loved the story, I was crying when Hermione was crying... it was beautiful!

Now... to find more Severus & Hermione fanfics... After I clean up my drool that is.

My Spicy Romance Breakdown. All numbers are out of a max of 5.

One of my last Severus/Hermione reads before my inevitable return to Draco, a highly enjoyable read, I always enjoy when two characters connect on an academic level, especially these two since it matches so well with their personalities

I originally rated this 4* because of the short length (I thought it would have been amazing expanded on) but I’ve bumped it up to 5* because I cannot stop thinking about it. It was sooooooo good!! I am a sucker for student/professor and age gap 👌👌🥰

SS/HG literally "doing it" for the Order due to a curse that's been placed on all Death Eaters that requires them to copulate with Muggles for Voldemort's repopulation efforts (hence the title).

My first SS/HG fanfic - this fanfic consists of dubious consent and a lot of smut (with a bit of plot). This was an unlikely pairing (and even more unlikely set of circumstances) that was surprisingly fun to read.

I’m gonna be honest, I read through Chapters 1-28 really quickly and then just burned myself out and didn’t finish even though it’s just 5 chapters to go. I do this a lot and I just want to mark this as read bc I feel like I might not come back to this story even though it is entertaining. Not my usual ship, but I wanted to try it after reading some good Snamione. It’s not what I’ve been craving though and that’s also okay. I don’t care enough to read it all.

DNF about half way. The premise of this fic is utterly ridiculous and you can either get over that or you can’t. I couldn’t. Very little made sense and it’s basically PNP.
