Easy read

Fun, light, easy read. Sometimes that is all you need to relax after a chaotic day at work and with family concerns.

Interesting characters

I read books 1-4 consecutively! Sorry, but that's way too much in the way of ghosts, spirits and murders! If just a fraction of what happened to or involved Dani REALLY occurred, she would have sold that B and B and left town after the first book! They were fun to read and try to figure out what would happen next. I would suggest a little time between the books though!

Can't wait to read #5

Danielle, Walt and Lilly seem like the neighbors down the street now. I enjoy an easy read cozy mystery every so often, but, can't remember the last time I became so involved with the characters. Danielle actually ticks me off occasionally due to the the choices she makes. I promise you will feel the same. Luckily, there are several more books in the series. Getting the next one now.

No one is haunted like Danniel

Delightful light reading 📚. Plenty of plot, interesting characters. When Danniel inherits her Great aunts home in Fredrickport ,Oregon, she experiences the thing she has hidden for many years. She can see and hear the ghost of the former owner of the house! After that all major of mysteries and adventures begin. Well worth the time to read, when you need a light escspe!

I enjoyed all four books. I finished them very quickly because I was so engrossed with the story of Danielle and Walt the ghost of Marlow House. Each book has a separate story line yet there is a common thread. I also see from the titles of the next few stories the chronicle of Danielle and Walt continues. I can't wait to see where it leads. Ms. Holmes grabs your interest early and keeps you guessing till the end.

The haunted house.

I really enjoyed this 4 book series. I normally don't read haunting books. This series was a fun books full of mystery. These books was about a woman who could see and hear souls that have not past on after they died and help her solve mystery. Great fun read. Hope you enjoy these books as much as I did.

Haunting Danielle: Books 1-4) Bobbi Holmes, Anna J. McIntyre, Elizabeth Mackey (41/41/40/41 chapters) May 13-15, 2017; Oct 12-19, 2020

I bought this set shortly after I read the first book in the series when it was free. Then, I sat on it for many years. Recently, I took it back up and read books 2-4. A very short review here, see the individual books for the real review. At the end I give an overall rating for the set.

Book 1: The Ghost of Marlow House (May 13-15, 2017; 41 chapters.)
Danielle inherits a house left by her favorite aunt. What she doesn’t know is that it is already inhibited by a charming man named Walt Marlow. And she can see him too! This is the beginning of a wonder series and this “prequel” isn’t even that since it was written before the rest of the series! A real delight for paranormal; and cozy mystery fans alike! Four stars.

Book 2: The Ghost Who Loved Diamonds (Oct. 12-14, 2020; 41 chapters)
Danielle has come to terms with her handsome ghost Walt. However, she needs cash and decides to sell the diamonds that caused Walt so much anguish. But first, she decides to wear it at her open house as a way of staying authentic to the time period of her B&B. However, her cousin makes an appearance and sets the stage for a set of mishaps that result in a cruel and unfortunate death. This book wasn’t as good as the first, but still some humor makes it A-OK. Three stars.

Book 3: The Ghost Who Wasn’t (Oct. 16-17, 2020; 40 chapters.)
Lily has gone missing and then turns up dead....wait, wha??? Lily was killed in a highway accident speeding down the road in her sports car. At the same time she dies, a woman is found who vanished months ago, barely alive. Her uncle takes her to his house to tend to her. When Lily return to the B&B she is transparent, but Lily doesn’t think she dead. As Danielle and Ian race to find her, Walt does a little paranormal detective search to find out if she is really dead or not. Meanwhile, the woman at a house across town gets a visitor and things start to unravel. Best book so far! Five stars.

Book 4: The Ghost Who Wanted Revenge (Oct. 18-19, 2020; 41 chapters.)
This story picks up where the last one left off, only the uncle of the dead woman is shot and died in his wife’s arms. In his dying breath he implicates Danielle as his murderer. When Danielle has an ironclad alibi, things are thrown into a tizzy as to who really killed the guy. Very good story. Four stars.

Overall, this set was well written with likable characters, some good placement of humor, and characters who evolve.

High four star set. You can’t go wrong with any of these stories. I do recommend you I read this series from the beginning though, as the stories build upon the history.

🅼🆈 🆃🅷🅾🆄🅶🅷🆃🆂: 🄰🅄🄳🄸🄾🄱🄾🄾🄺

This is the boxset having the first four books in the series which will grab you and make you addicted to Marlow house and all our main gang consisting of Marlow House Owner, Danielle, ex-house owner, Walt Marlow slash resident friendly ghost.
Danielle's bestie, Lily, Lily's Beau, Ian and his dog, Sadie along with others.

This cozy suspense/ mystery ride with paranormal themes, has a new crime to solve in each book and the victim's ghost coming to haunt Danielle, sometimes for help and some times for revenge also.

The writing keeps you freaking hooked and doesn't let go that's for sure.

I can't even say how fast I devoured these books and actually listening to them on Audible made my life so much easier as I could sneak every free moment I could to listen.

Romy Nordlinger as the narrator is spectacular as she's enacted all of the voices perfectly and it made it all the more fun listening to different characters and their emotions.

The Chief, along with sergeant Joe Morelli and Brian the other cop who initially hates Danielle are also an integral part of the story, make for an interesting gang and so much fun as they always have new cases to handle and somehow finding Danielle in the middle of it all.

The Banter is oh so much fun and the camaraderie between Danielle and her friends is absolutely heartwarming. Can't get enough of this series, that's for sure. ♥️♥️

Wonderful story of interesting people and interactive ghosts. I read one to two chapters a night to my wife in bed. The chapters were the perfect size for reading and the story line was great and entertaining for the evening close of the day. It went from night to night looking forward to the next events to happen. I am looking forward to reading the next books in this series.

Loved the characters and all the story plots. The books are linked but contain individual stories. Enjoyed the scripts which were very interesting and had unique quality.

Really fun. I don't often read light fluff books but I really got into this series. I bought the set for $0.99 on amazon and read all four books in a week. Have since bought several more from the series.

Great Series

I forgot I bought this boxed set. I already read each book in the fabulous series separately. I guess that shows how many books I bought that I have not read yet that I would forget I had already bought a box set in this series. Oh well. It was a fabulous series.

Loved it

I had to read all of the 4 books. I love the characters. Danielle seems to get into trouble through no fault of her own. I love the mystery, but also the humor.

Loved the boxset but 4.50 for every book thereafter is too expensive for me. Will have to check my local library e-books
