The series really was a waste of time. The characters are very shallow, unconvincing and pretty much cartoonish. My initial dismay of the childish behavior of the main protagonist is explained as some kind of curse, but even so the story has more holes than Swiss cheese!
Sorry but a waste of time and money!

An excellent wrap to an excellent series. The stakes are high as Athson, Limbreth, Hastra and their allies face the final battle against Magdronu. As with the first two books in this series, the author transports his readers to a vividly imagined fantasy realm where the conflict between good and evil takes center stage. The writing is superb, and the fast pace of adventure will have you eagerly flipping through pages. There are more than a few surprises tucked into the end, which delivers a fully satisfying conclusion to this epic series.

The plot of the series is overall a good one but the writing starts so so bad...short sentences that do not follow up each other, gets better eventually but never gets good...shallow characters and illogical acts and behaviours. Well, the plot made me read the book but there are probably many other better fantasy stories around.

This is the third and final book in the bow of hart saga; however, if the author decides to write a fourth, then there is certainly scope for it. I say this because the ending doesn’t leave things as final and done with but rather points in a certain direction, while at the same time, rounds up the many threads laid out in the earlier books. As with the preceding novels, it could do with a thorough read through to deal with the many missing and extra and incorrectly used words, as well as spelling hiccups. However, I loved the characters ... both the good and the bad ... and the wonderful descriptions immersed me so fully into the story that for many scenes I lived them in my mind’s eye, and the printed words morphed into the background.

All in all, I found this to be a great tale woven with all the elements you’d expect in an epic fantasy. I look forward to more books from this author.

Great ending with possibilities of more to come...

This was a pretty good ending to the story and I could see more coming from this saga. I’m sorry, but I felt Limbrith was a bit hypocritical of Athson. He had a curse upon him that made him do certain things and she couldn’t get over his failure of helping her that one time!?!? He chose revenge over helping her BECAUSE of the curse. Geesh. Forgiveness is a wonderful thing. She wasn’t perfect either. Debbie doubter here and there, and she got so easily frustrated with Athson. Not my favorite part of the book by far. I feel her attitude was a bit undeserving. It seemed everyone forgave her easily through her failures, but rode Athson hard through his. Just my thoughts.

All in all, I enjoyed the story and if the author chooses to continue this story (which I hope he does), I will definitely read it.

Interesting series that takes a while to get into

Book 1 started out slow with interesting characters and a boring but understandable plot. Book 2 slogs through the story and begins to make more sense. Book 3 ties everything together and leaves the villain escaping to leave room for more books in the series. This is a similar approach to a number of fantasy fiction stories but the nuances in the character development make for a facinating read.

Beautifully Written Epic Conclusion

Fabulous conclusion to an epic fantasy tale. It made me laugh, cry, cheer, want to throttle characters, and beam with pride and hope. Everything you would expect from a tale on the scale of Lord of the Rings. The next trilogy should be just as epic.

Amazing clif hanger

This was the third book and every time you think something bad is going to happen it doesn’t. I have enjoyed all the characters
Athson was my favorite. He is flawed and yet in the end he does win. I read this in two days I got so involved in the ups and downs of the story.

The White Arrow.

A great ending to a great story. Twists and turns at every turn. Some things are surprising while others are a stop in your tracks kind of moment. A great series for anyone who likes elves, dwarfs, dragons, magic and gods.

Holds you until the end!

As I finished this last book in the series, I so much wanted more. All these characters are truly believable and stay in your heart. I hope for more in this series in time, but have to say it is a Truly Great and satisfying series to read and ends well.
