Another three feature stories in this issue of Dustin Weaver's Paklis, with the bulk of the issue being a continuation of the "Amnia Cycle". This one continues to be a gorgeous bit of spectacle, dabbling in the high concept space opera regime with a good mix of inspiration from the European masters found in the pages of Métal hurlant/Heavy Metal Magazine. The narrative isn't grabbing me fully, but the artwork is spectacular.

The other stories, "Solel Donnia" and the continuation of "Sagittarius A" were much less compelling, both from a story perspective and artistically. Given how much better looking the "Amnia Cycle" story is, I think the contrast between styles is not serving the overall anthology all that well. It kind of feels like Weaver is testing out stuff instead of putting out his most refined work out.

Not bad overall, but didn't feel as strong as the previous two issues.
