This is volume one of the Filthy Fairy Tales series -- where the story of Cinderella -- is given a new and steamy spin!
I don’t even know her name, but I swear I’ll find her and claim her as my own.
TEN SECONDS...
That’s how long it took for me to decide that this early-morning diner waitress was going to be the next lucky girl to hop onto my princely d*ck. Yeah, I was hungover as f*ck and still wearing last night’s tuxedo, but that’s never exactly been a problem.
Most of the time I don’t even have to ask. His Royal Hardness has a reputation that precedes the rest of me, though not by much -- and girls from all over the kingdom and just dying for a ride.
NOT HER...
This girl runs away, and I’m left standing there like an *sshole. Now all I’ve got is the memory of her perfect body, luscious lips, and devious smile -- but not her name.
To make matters worse, my father is insisting that I settle down and stop embarrassing him, so he issues an ultimatum: find a wife, or else.
I know exactly WHO I want.
But first I have to FIND her..
Finding His Princess is a *very* *very*-- steamy, cheesy, and over-the-top -- version of the beloved Cinderella story -- that’ll melt your ereader *and* your heart!
Yeah this one just wasn’t for me. The hero was an oozing STD on the butthole of humanity, tries to get the heroine—who he has just met—to give him a BJ in the restroom. Yeah, I’m not interested in reading about zeroes who are such slaves to their dicks that they will stick it into any skank they can find, and is so desperate and so indiscriminate that he will do it in a public restroom.
I like my heroes with a little more integrity, self-control and honor.
This is getting better and better honestly I love Cinderella retellings. I can read them until I’m blue in the face. This is not exception, also did I mention there are Queens that give a show, an awesome bestie that can cook. Evil step sisters and an awful stepmom and this was super hilarious to boot. Love love love it 😍. On to the next one ☝🏽
The description sounded okay, and it looked like the first of what looks an interesting series. I was hoping for a good series to read, but I'm not sure I can attempt to finish reading this book, and I'm going to be disappointed if the subsequent books are like this. The main male character is a jerk and keeps describing his sexual exploits in his narrative and with his friends. This has no place in a romance. I don't want to hear details about him with other women. And I'm really just over the manwhore falling in love and being a better person thing. Is there not another type of book to write? This subject is old.
Blurb: I don’t even know her name, but I swear I’ll find her and claim her as mine.

OMG!! This short fairy tale retelling was HAWT, SEXY, STEAMY, and just all around FUN! Ella is working in a diner when Prince Grayson enters after a drunkin night of debauchery. They have an instant connection and the king puts his foot down by telling Grayson that he must get married. As the fairy tale goes Ella has a fairy godmother who happens to be a drag queen dating her best friend, her evil step-mother locks her away, and Grayson pines for her until he finds her. As I said it was just down right dirty in the sexiness and I LOVED every minute of it. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the filthy fairy tales by Parker Grey!
This specific video book review will be included in the March 2019 wrap-up.

Livia’s specialty is being cruel for cruelty’s sake. Her daughters are mostly just stupid, but Livia is mean.
This novella was pure sexy smuttiness from start to finish. It was an erotic and modern Cinderella retelling--complete with the handsome and cocky (pun intended!) Prince, the beautifully innocent Ella, the evil stepmother and clueless step-sisters, and the fairy godmother who helps get her to the ball. And even though it was predictable, I still enjoyed the story and their HEA. A sexy, quick read!
Finding His Princess: A Cinderella Story is the first in the Filthy Fairy Tales series chronologically, but the last one I read, and I'm actually glad for that. While it's not bad, it's the shortest in the series and definitely the weakest entree. The prince is an entitled jackass (who has actually named his dick His Royal Hardness) completely unworthy of Ella's time at the start of the book, and his dramatic shift to decent human being is under-explained and under-explored. Ella starts and ends as a much better, well-rounded character, but her step-family members are basically one-dimensional evil beings who only exist to push the plot along.
There are definite good points -- Ella and her friends are fun and funny, and her best friend getting his drag queen significant other to get Ella prepared for the ball is a nice tongue-in-cheek interpretation of the term "fairy godmother." This book is mostly an enjoyable read, and thankfully, led to longer, deeper, and better books with the rest of the Filthy Fairy Tales series.
Plot: Grayson is a dissolute walking orgy who would like a shot with the waitress serving him and his friends in the diner. Oh, he's also the crown prince and Ella won't give him the time of day. She has troubles of her own. But he can't get her out of his mind, so when his father insists he get married, he throws a ball and invites all eligible ladies to attend. He finally meets her and more, but when she has to go home, he can't find any sign of her. How will he find his perfect match?
Commentary: I loved Ella and her friends, but couldn't find a lot to like about Grayson. He was pretty gross. I mean, obviously he'll be absolutely faithful to Ella!! But he was not a considerate person for most of the book. But I guess that's to highlight the change - before/after. All that said, I liked this version of Cinderella. It was pretty true to the original, just transposed into a modern setting.
This is a naughty, sexy, retelling of Cinderella. The prince in this version is a man-whore who is known to be well-endowed. His father lays down the law and tells him he's got to settle down so cue the ball to not necessarily find "the one" but to at least narrow down the pool of candidates. You've got the wicked stepmother, the dumb, mean stepsisters, and the best part is the fairy godmother is a drag queen! I do have an issue with the cover model being a brunette when Ella's character is definitely described with blonde hair. Not a big deal, but that sort of thing bugs me.
Wicked-hot modern retelling of Cinderella. i lvoe this kind of light and fun smut romance. Especially if there are crowns, obsessed princes and baby making.
Ella is a modern cinderella who works at a diner where she meets the womanizer prince on a hangover. He's lust-struck, she's to shy for that kind of shameless dirty talk. Though they can't seem to forget each other, or the desire that bonds them.
I really enjoyed the parallelisms with the fairytale, incluiding the ball, the pretty sparkling shoes, and the horrifying stepmother who enslaves Ella. It was a great idea how the author reimagined the help Ella gets to be able to attend the ball.
Hot steamy scenes aplenty and double POV make sure this light-hearted tale is pure entertainment. And those two epilogues are so yummy!
"I want her. I need her. And I'm going to find her, no matter what."
Oooh I love this one. My fav from Parker Grey. It's an adult version of Cinderella. I love when fairytales got some dirty spin on it. There's a lot of hotness, love and drama, so yeah I'm really enjoying this one.
As for characters. I like this hot playboy Prince Grayson. Love how determine he is to find his princess. And for Ella, she's a Cinderella with a tiny bit sassyness and sexiness, reserves only for her Prince.
If you love steamy fairytale, you must try this one.
*I voluntarily received a review copy of this book
I received this ARC copy of this book from the Author for an honest review. I give this book 5 stars. The storyline between the Prince Grayson and Ella was well written and worth reading. I whole heartedly recommend this book. The story has steamy sences, betrayal, thrill, lust, love and a mean step mother. A must read book.
I get that this is smut and it's up-front in the summary that the MMC is a player, but please give me SOME hint of any redeeming quality he might have. I only read the sample and I was completely disgusted the entire time by the MMC; no redeeming qualities in sight.
Eh. Very unlikeable Hero. Cheesy, cliche and downright ridiculous. I hope we can start leaving the He Is A Player and She Is A Virgin troupe in the past. It is just so awful. 2 stars because while i didn't enjoy it, the plot was exactly as expected and described
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This was my first Parker Grey story and I loved it. It is an amazing adult spin on Cinderella.
I am a suckered for Cinderella, any book or movie. It's been a favourite since I first saw Disney's Cinderella as a little girl. Of course this is no Disney Cinderella. This version is adult oriented and VERY STEAMY.
This a first read for me of this author, and I really enjoyed this book. Read in one sitting or I guess devoured is more like. It was really good.
If you like steamy versions of Fairytales then you don't want to miss this.
Holy hot fairy-tale!! This twist on Cinderella, definitely my favorite!! Parker sticks with the character we all love but adds her own little surprises to them! Ells certainly never thought she would end up with the playboy prince but she couldn't have ended up happier!!
Ella's father passed leaving his house and business to his new wife, with this came the evil treatment of Ella from her stepsisters and her stepmother. Ella is a slave around the house and due to schooling and room and board, she is also a waitress at her father's diner where she works off the money owed to her stepmother for allowing her to finish school and keep a roof over her head.
Prince Grayson comes into the diner one morning after a night of fun and instantly finds himself lost in her eyes and wants to know more about her and everything that entails. The King tells Grayson he needs to settle down and they are going to throw a ball inviting every single woman in the kingdom so that Grayson can narrow the pool for his search.
Ella is then allowed to go to the ball but has to do a list of chores beforehand, however at the last minute, her stepmother cuts and ruins her dress. Her friends come to her rescue and she gets to attend the ball and meets the Prince again. They share a wonderful night, but when Ella returns the next morning her stepmother is waiting for her and puts her under house arrest!! Will Grayson be able to find Ella when she is under house arrest? Does Grayson still want Ella after their amazing night together?
This book has lust, love, romance, drama and scandal, with a HEA. I reviewed an ARC of this book!
Look, I knew what I was getting into when I picked this up. I expected cheesy, trope-ridden smut which sounded like a fun counterpoint to the dull grey that is life in a recession.
I adored the heroine's lovely coworker and his drag queen partner. They were a lot of fun as modern day fairy godmothers and if they'd played a larger role, I might well have given a higher star rating. The smut was by the by, no better or worse than many such books; the highlight was these two secondary characters.
Otherwise the story progressed much as expected, although honestly I didn't feel any real connection to or between the protagonists. Neither of them had much personality. The heroine was insipid and, although Cinderella has been beaten down, I've always thought she was rather brave to keep on trying. There's not much sense of that here. Our heroine just seems defeated.
The hero's personality consists of expecting every woman to get on her knees for him. This, coupled with how enthusiastic he is about the heroine's virginity rubbed me up the wrong way. Sleep around as much as you like; I don't care. But treat your partners with respect. And for fuck's sake, do not tell me that this directionless manchild just needed the right hymen to redeem him.
Ella is in a horrible position. Her mother died several years ago and her dad remarried to the perfect wicked stepmother. Now her dad died a while ago and his will gave all the power to her stepmom. If Ella and her stepmother can't work together then all Ella's shares go to her stepmother who will destroy her father's company. If that isn't bad enough, her stepmother is charging her for all the expenses she paid for Ella growing up including interest. Ella is basically an indentured servant until her debt is paid. One day Ella is working at the family restaurant when some rich drunk guys come in. They are cocky and arrogant even if they are gorgeous. One of them has his eye on Ella and offers to take her into the bathroom for some fun. Ella is horrified but strangely tempted. She is a virgin and he is handsome. Prince Grayson can't believe the waitress turned him down. Usually he can get any woman he wants. Ella's refuse keeps her in his mind. Then the King has a talk with Grayson. He is sick of all the bad press Grayson is getting. He wants Grayson to settle down and get married or else the crown will go to his younger sister. The only woman Grayson is interested in is the waitress so he makes a deal for his father. there will be a special ball where all single women are invited and Prince Grayson promises to narrow down his choices for a wife. Ella can't get Grayson out of her mind. she almost regrets turning his offer down. When news of the ball comes, she is hoping for a second chance. Her stepmother agrees that she can go to the ball if she does her chores and makes her own dress. Ella does this but her stepmother destroys the dress. Ella is heartbroken until her gay friend and co-worker take her to see his significant other who is a drag queen. Her gay friends are the perfect fairy godmothers and Ella gets to the ball. This is a great retelling of Cinderella with some interesting twists. I really enjoyed Ella as a heroine but at first Grayson came across as a jerk. As he learned to cope with his surprising feelings for Ella, he becomes much more likable. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.
Finding His Princess is the first in the Filthy Fairy Tales series, and is a retelling of the Cinderella story. Ella is in a horrible position. Her mother died several years ago and her dad remarried to a woman who is the perfect wicked stepmother. Of course, when her Dad died his will gave all the power to her stepmom.
One day Ella is working at the family restaurant when some rich drunk guys come in. They are cocky and arrogant even if they are gorgeous. One of them has his eye on Ella and offers to take her into the bathroom for some fun, but Ella refuses even though part of her wants to go with this man. Ella does not know it is Prince Grayson and Prince Grayson can't believe the waitress turned him down, because usually he can get any woman he wants, often with some bad publicity.
But then things get worse for Grayson, his father the King is fed up with his playboy ways and wants him to settle down or he will pass the crown to his younger daughter. All Grayson wants is the waitress who turned him down, so he asks his father for a ball which all the single women are invited to. Ella can't get the man from the diner out of her mind when news of the ball is announced. Her stepmother agrees that she can go, if she does her chores and makes her own dress. Ella does this but in true Cinderella style her stepmother destroys the dress. Ella is heartbroken until her gay friend takes her to see his significant other who is a drag queen. He is her perfect fairy godmother and gets Ella to the ball.
So my opinion - The prince is an entitled idiot completely unworthy of a decent female like Ella and his dramatic shift to a decent human being is under-explained but as he realises what his feelings for Ella are he does become slightly more likable.
Ella and her friends are funny, and her best friend getting his drag queen significant other to the ball was a nice surprise and totally believable in today's world. This book is mostly an enjoyable read and I would recommend it to others to read.
I will also be seeking out further books in the Filthy Fairytale Series.
*** ARC provided by Author &/or Publisher in exchange for Honest Review!*** Review: I don't really read re-makes of fairy tales, but Finding His Princess was a nice experience. Parker Grey interpreted the the story of Cinderella into a very modern and a very filthy fairy tale which was beautifully written.
The modernism in this book is seen trough the sexualities of the characters as well as the fairy godmother which was a cool surprise! Loved how Parker Gray really nailed the whole scenes that would have been like the actual movie only added her little twist into the story.
The ways that you see the 'prince' try and find 'cinderella' in the movie is about the same as what Prince Grayson goes through to try and find his mystery women, but instead of going around to try and fit a shoe into the feet of multiple women he does it differently :)
This story is told by both Grayson and Mystery Women... and yes you do find out her name :) .
You guy are going to find this book both hilarious and swoon worthy with Grayson being the prince. If you are even slightly feminist you will find Grayson to be upsetting and annoying within the first things he says in this book... but of course you won't know what he says until you grab this book and find out ;)
