It wasn’t until after hearing countless of times from several people close to her that she should publish her work, Jevonne then took that leap of faith and reached out to three publishers.

In 2016, she received her break when she was signed to Pleasure Principle Publications and released her debut novel, "Gettin' Mine". Then in 2017 released her second independently and has now found a home with Loyalty Reign Publications.

While Andra seemed to have a run of bad luck finding a good mate, she seemed to have struck gold with Jamal. Or so I thought... Brandyn was determined not to give up & his actions proved it. Kishma was a good friend to have. Characters & storyline held my attention as the drama kept this story flowing. Good standalone

Loved it

One thing I can say is what you do in the dark will come the light. I hope this wasn't the end because it was still a lot of holes that needed to be filled!!

Gettin' Mine

It started out kind of boring in the beginning for me. Andra had too much going on and gave an all new meaning to getting hers. She seemed a bit careless at times, considering how she was so focused on her needs with no regards to her health. When Jamal came back into the picture they didn't seem to have a care in the world. I felt it was more to Jamal before some things were revealed. Brandyn was low key psycho because he let his infatuation go too far. Andra truly needed to get her life together after all the issues her carelessness caused. I feel as if something was missing because things were being talked about but went on to something else without being explained enough. The situation with Brandyn's sister was brought up but once he got his results everything died down.
