I received this audiobook free for an honest review. I wasn't really sure what I was getting in to when I requested this book. It was different. Very creative. I had no idea where it was going. I believe in a place between here and heaven and hell, so this story wasn't that much of a surprise, except, it was interesting that Malcolm and Jerry had a choice of their direction. The author made it very clear who was good and who was evil. The choice that Malcolm made was very interesting, but not a total surprise. The narrator did a good job with the characters and getting their personalities across as what, I believe, the author intended.

I loved the concept of this book. I was hooked from the beginning and I loved the characters. They were well characterised and easy to understand. I loved the ending. This novel was well written and the narrator was brilliant and nuanced.

Interesting idea for a storyline. Kinda hooks the reader right from the beginning, as you just have to know where the author is going with this one. Enjoyed the narration as well. Now I have to wait for book two to find out where Mike is going with this.
