Ashley is a real estate agent and she is damn good at her job. She finds her clients what they are looking for and when it is not available, she has a team of people who can make dreams come true. In her romantic life however, things aren’t as well off. She has been single for several years now and something from her past has her spooked.

This story hooked me from the start, the twists the turns, the characters and the plot just blew me away. I can't wait to read the second book in this series, as the end really got me.

Ashley and Alex's first encounter is quite a trip for her. Their relationship is full of lovely entanglements (wink, wink). It seems Ashley may have a secret admirer throwing a wrench in the works. I enjoyed this book and plan to complete the series.

You have now truly gained a fan of your work! This book has got me feeling like a mix between the singer Vivian Green’s song “Emotional Rollercoaster” and Alicia Keys/Maxwell’s “Fire We Make”. There are definitely ways that I can relate to Ashley especially on the way she views herself at times and sometimes has a hard time accepting compliments. She goes from the “don’t think positive things about myself” to I can be “sassy” and slick at the mouth too. In the beginning she definitely seem career focused but Mr. Alex has caused her some distractions. Then it is these nightmares that she cannot remember…that’s when I felt sorry for her because her past is sure taunting her pretty bad whatever it was that actually. I guess that has to do with Mr. Clark that was mentioned. Hopefully that is in part 2 of the series. It appears she wants to bury that part of her life to never mention it again. It even seems that Kelly doesn’t know what happened in great detail but she knows what to do to comfort her.
Then there is Mr. Bruce…. LOL I laugh because this is so much like a page from my life minus the marriage proposal and him winning the lottery. There was at one point someone in my life that fit his demeanor to a tee and his name was Bruce too …. So that whole part of the storyline cracked me up. Also with Mr. Travis he seem like he could cause some issues/ problems. I am curious to his true motives. Also, who is Miss. Thompson lol? She seems borderline cray-cray crazy… Someone else to watch out for. I am sure she is the reason Ashley doesn’t feel that great in that house in the end….
Now about Mr. Alex…. what can I say? Part of him I want in real life the other part I couldn’t deal with him lol… 1) the showing up places unexpected makes me think he got stalker tendencies 2) the control issue…. The way my personality set up I could not take that… No Sir we would be going at it constantly lol… Some points he seemed not in control maybe Ashley going to wear him down some and change some of his personality? Despite that he is still intriguing and can’t wait to see if we find out more about his past… I’m starting to wonder if he is actually connected to this Miss Thompson lady…. Something tells me they are……My curious mind will definitely finding out soon… I truly enjoyed this book and I know I am going to love the whole series… Just Awesome!!

Hypnotik is the debut novel my Tracy Gilmore. The novel is full of mystery, intrigue and seduction. Ashley is a real estate agent who is happy with being a tomboy and being the best at her job. She is not looking for romance but she unexpectedly finds it with Alex, the mysterious owner of the latest house she finds.
The story has a lot of potential but it felt a bit lacking. I couldn’t connect to Ashley at all. She was too wishy-washy for me. One minute she was very interested in Alex and the next she was pushing him away. It started to get annoying after a while. There’s a big something that is haunting Ashley, which is probably the reason why she is keeping Alex at arm’s length but I really wished we gotten some hint of what is plaguing her. It was so vague. While reading I felt the story wasn’t cohesive. I had to go back a couple of pages at times to figure out what was going on. And some parts just left my scratching my head. I really wanted to know what happened to Ashley. I really wished the author touched on what going on with her. And Alex, I liked him. He was relentless in his pursuit of Ashley and went to great length to show her that he cared about her. The story did touch on Alex being a dominant but it felt more like Ashley was the one in charge of their relationship. Nevertheless, the story did pique my interest. What is Ashley hiding? What is she so afraid of? What’s next for Ashley and Alex? Will we know who or what she’s so afraid of? That ending!!!!! What a cliffhanger! That alone would be a reason why I’d read the next book. I need some answers!!!!

This book was given to me by the author for an honest opinion
This book was amazing. The story was very different and I loved reading it. It was very gripping from the first page, it took me long to finish just due to other commitments but seriously I couldn't put this book down.
Ashley Peyton is a tomboy, simple and straight forward. She's being raised in a house with four older brothers so you can imagine how she was being brought up, all secured and trained to fight for herself. She was grateful for what her brothers taught her. Being a grown up, now she could cook, she could defend herself, out think most men, a wiz mechanic and can drive!
She was a Real Estate Agent, she help some guy get a house as he desired and was sent to check on if everything was perfect before that guy (owner) arrives. When she reaches the house she meets a guy who is busy making a beautiful painting on the wall. She is so mesmerized that for the first time ever she is lost on words. He makes such an effect on her that no one had ever made before!
I loved the meeting of Ashley and Alex and i loved how their relation builds up. but Alex has a secret that cannot be disclosed but the more he stays with Ashley the more revealing he feels.
This book kept me over the edge throughout the time i read, i kept turning pages wondering what happens next.
A hot, steamy and gripping story with mysteries to be unfold.

I loved the idea of the story. Ashley Peyton is a successful real estate agent who sells a home to a handsome Alex Vicente. I had some difficulties connecting to any of the characters, and it felt like I was getting lost in the story often.
Ashley starts off as a tomboy with a great since of character when her and her roommate go out for the evening, but then she does some crazy stuff that someone with great judge of character wouldn’t do.
And she goes from being a “tomboy” to being a wears frilly skirts and tops and high heels.
For some reason she is all of a sudden very popular with the men, and I don’t know if that has anything to do with the “Curse” or not. It was just really strange how the story flowed for me, but the writing was great. There is just a lot that is going on and I had troubles keeping up.

Let me start by saying how happy I am that I was given this book. I was drawn in immediately from the first chapter!
Ashley is a young realtor with some dark secrets. It took me a while to warm up to her at times she seemed like she could be a bit juvenile and fickle. For example when her and Alex first met the attraction was instant for both of them, but she kept going back and forth with him. She would draw him in, and then take three steps back. That being said, the more I read the more I came to understand why she was doing that. I got the sense that she had been through a painful past that was causing her to protect herself. I definitely warmed up to her the more the story went on and the more I became invested.
Alex on the other hand, I fell in love with him from the first encounter. God, everything about that man drew me in. From his looks to the way he talked I was hooked! He's dominant, possessive, and persistent which is the exact kind of man Ashley needs. I also got the impression that he had some secrets of his own.
Overall this story was intriguing. The author has such talent. I would recommend this book to anyone who asks. The ending left me guessing and itching to move on to the next!

I was given this book as a gift for an outside opinion of this book!! As stated by Tracy herself!!!
Wow.... Ashleigh is an independent woman who has a past... she can change tyres, knows her way around an engine, has a passion about cars!!! And she can cook and clean too!!! She is a realty assistant and is charged with finding a house for a European gentleman. After the closing of the sale she is sent to make sure the house is ready for its owners arrival... As she enters she finds a man painting a mural and her heart stops momentarily. He turns round and is spellbound by Ashleigh!!! He is obsessed without being stalkerish with getting to know Ashleigh...
This is a fab story and boy do you get taken through an emotional wringer and you ask yourself questions about what's going to happen next and it ends on a big humdinger cliff hanger, I want to know what's happening and what's going to happen!!!
I really enjoyed this book and definitely recommend it and it is certainly worthy of 5 ☆☆☆☆☆'s

Ashley Peyton is a very complex woman with secrets. She doesn't see in herself who she really is as a woman until she meets Alex. Alex is a mysterious client of hers that captures her attention on sight. Between her late night rendezvous that she is scared for her roommate to find out about to her night terrors, makes you wonder if she has suppressed something so awful from her past that it is finally trying to come out. I love the chemistry between the characters and how once she starts dressing more like a lady instead of a tom boy she realizes he has more admirers than she knew. I'm about to download part 2 right now!

Ashley Peyton works in real estate and sells a house to Alex Vicente. There is something between them right from the start. Ashley is very independant and seems to go back and forth with Alex. I think she was trying to fight her attraction to him. During the story there are hints to a hidden side to Ashley.
I love books that pull you right in and this book does that right from the start. I can't wait to read the next book because I really want to know what happens between these two.

Tracy H Gilmore has done it again with this book. She is talented with how she writes her characters and story lines. This book has interesting twists and turns throughout the pages. Secrets need to be answered and the question is will we ever find out the truth? I guess you will need to read the book to find out more details.
If you liked Fifty Shades of Grey and Dominants then you will enjoy this series from the first to the last page. I highly suggest all of Tracy H Gilmore's books no matter your personality. If you like hot and steamy then these are the books for you.

Hypnotik: The Curses of Ashley Peyton is the first novel in a trilogy by Tracy Gilmore. One word to sum up this book is sexual. The entire novel was sex. Having no plot at all, I found overwhelming that one book could contain so much sexual diction and sexual acts. I am not going to read the next book in this series because the book has no plot and reading just an erotica is pointless if there is no meaning behind it.

This story has a mystery to it that keeps you guessing and wanting to know what is going on. I really enjoyed the bantering between Ashley and Alex. They have a chemistry together that is quite explosive. There are some crazy twists and turns that keep you at the edge of your seat. Tracy Gilmore did an amazing job keeping me in the story and made the characters feel real as if I was right there watching everything unfold. I can't wait to read more.
