Tuckers bluff isn’t done playing matchmaker for the Farradays. Welcome to Ian, book 9 in the Farraday Country series set in cattle-ranching west Texas, with all the friends, family and fun that fans have come to expect from USA TODAY Bestselling author Chris Keniston.

For Texas Ranger Ian Farraday, nothing beats catching bad guys, except family time in Tuckers Bluff. When fate steps in and brings him face-to-face with one curvy—and unforgettable—damsel in distress, all it takes is a stray puppy and a few missing cows to turn his ranch vacation upside down.

Attending a wedding isn't supposed to land Kelly Morgan in jail. Lucky for her, the Farraday men are always ready to save the day—especially one long, tall Texan. Too bad the embarrassing mishap turns out to be the least of her worries. After all, every woman needs a knight in shining armor once—or twice—in a lifetime.

A native New Yorker, Chris Keniston was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy-degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August!

Twenty years later, she started scribbling short stories about her favorite TV shows, giving them lives more to her liking - and the elusive happy ending. Not long after, a dear friend dragged her to a local writers’ meeting. After winning multiple writing contests and making the finals in the Romance Writers of America’s prestigious Golden Heart contest, she now spends her days, and nights, writing contemporary romantic fiction with lots of emotion, plenty of surprises, and, of course, the happily ever after.

Chris lives in suburban Dallas with her husband, two human children, and two canine children. Though she loves her puppies equally, she admits being especially attached to her German Shepherd rescue named Gunny. After all, even dogs deserve a happily ever after.

A family wedding, a slight mishap, a Texas Ranger, his sister's best friend, two ornery old men & a bunch of missing calves -- all ingredients to a wonderful story. Ian & Kelly are reintroduced at his cousin Finn's wedding. Ian ends up rescuing Kelly & begins to see her in a different light. Kelly is living at home helping her mother take care of her grandfather & uncle after they were thrown out of the retirement home. An encounter with a young puppy brings them closer together.

I love this series! Each story can be read by itself but if you read them in order, it adds an additional dimension. The family dynamics really come out as the series moves along. The Farraday family is extremely close no matter the difference between them. Kelly is really sweet & has a lot of responsibility on her shoulders. Her ex boyfriend did a number on her self confidence & so she's having a tough time believing anyone could be interested in her. I really enjoyed this one & couldn't put it down!

The Farraday Country series provides a ray of sunshine in a world that is full of negativity. Each tale is another piece of the rainbow that builds hope. Ms. Keniston has created in the Farradays, a family that is a little bit broken, but forever linked in love and life. Someone, somewhere is looking out for them. With a little help from a furry guardian angel, they can conquer anything the world tosses their way. Ian is the man with the plan. A far too serious loner, that always has time for his family. When a flighty and unpredictable whirlwind blows into town, his staid existence becomes chaos. Will he survive the ride with his heart intact? Pleasure is synonymous with this sweet series.

The Farraday Country series is my all time favorite set and Chris Keniston is definitely a favorite author! This series has it all, interesting characters, fun and captivating drama, with plenty of clean romance. I love that every book takes place in Tuckers Bluff where all of the Farradays and their significant others live and are a meaningful part of each new story line.

Ian is back home for his brother's wedding when an unexpected call has him racing off to help the best friend of his sister and cousin when she gets arrested. He didn't expect to be babysitting Kelly for the next week. He has no idea the kind of trouble she will get herself into with the help of her senile grandfather and uncle or the kind of trouble he gets his heart into as he gets to know the spunky young girl that has developed into a stunning, curvy and vivacious woman.

Kelly loves working for veterinarian Dr. Adam Farraday but hardly remembered his cousin Ian until he shows up with DJ at the police station. Now she finds herself spending far more time with the handsome and caring man than she expected. When she begins to have feelings for him all she can think is that no one could possibly care for her because in her mind she's more than just curvy.

Will Ian be able to convince Kelly she is everything he wants or will her secret destroy his love and his entire family?

Another incredible novel by Chris Keniston!

I voluntarily offer my review of this advance reader copy.

With this series we really haven't heard much about Ian, so it was nice getting to know him better. I wasn't sure about him and Kate, but with Kate's crazy family solid Ian was just who she needed. Kate's grandpa and grandpa's brother were funny, as long as you can read about them and not live with them.

The stuff these two old men got up had me laughing, but they are lucky that at the end they were dealing with the Farraday's and not everyone else.

Ian is in town helping his family discover who has been stealing the cattle from his family and surrounding ranches. Kelly believes herself to be immune to the Farraday charms after growing up near them. Ian, however, makes her melt. She has a few self-image issues to deal with after her most recent ex tore her down. I love this family and enjoy reading about their antics. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I just finished 'Ian' and it was fantastic. It drew me in, grabbed ahold of me, and wouldn't let me go until I finished every single word. Every book in this series has been so very good and out of them all Declan and Ian are my favorite.

It was so nice and such a pleasant change from man-whores, bad language and graphic sex. Without those things, it is so much easier to focus on this family and the true sweetness from a read like this. There was something about this book that made it so special.

Our hero is Ian Farraday, a cousin to our original Farraday family and brother to Hannah. He is a Ranger and there is nothing he likes better than catching the bad guys except when he visits his uncle and cousins in Tucker Bluff. Through some odd circumstances, he comes face-to-face with a curvy damsel in distress that he will take responsibility for since she was arrested without committing a crime. He knows her but not well as she grew up close to the Farraday's ranch and was friends with Grace and Hannah.

Our heroine, Kelly Morgan, has been emotionally battered by her ex-boyfriend who did his best to put her down at every opportunity. She was a curvy young woman and the ex-boyfriend did his best to convince her she was fat and unattractive. It didn't matter that the friends she had as well as her cousins have told her countless times that they would kill for curves like hers. He had done enough damage that she thought maybe the mirror was lying and she was truly fat. It took her a while to get past that. When someone you love beats you down until you are about as low as you can go, it does something to you, changes your view of yourself and maybe makes you feel less valued as a person.

This was a real kismet moment for them and following along with the other books, the matchmaking dogs were at it again!

I highly recommend this book as well as the rest of the 'Farraday Series.' Great job Chris! With all you've had going on, how did you write such a great and touching story?

Ian (Farraday Country Book 9)

Chris Keniston

What do stray puppy’s, weddings and Texas Rangers all have in common? Why Farraday Country of course! Tuckers Bluff has seen a whole passel of weddings and bliss recently as the Farraday’s one after the other found their mates, got married an settled down.

When Ranger Ian Farrady attended his cousin Finn’s wedding, little did he know how this tiny detail would turn his life around. Enter one curvy female Kelly Ann Morgan, one broken down car with a police parked just behind it and there you have the start. Ian did not know what sequence of events were about to occur.

Chris tale of merriment and mayhem, with equal parts family mischief tell a delightful romantic tale of set in the Texas ranch lands. Kelly Ann has a hard time helping her Mom keep her Grandfather and Uncle with both feet in the 21st Century. They belong to a by-gone era and can’t understand why things have to change and why you cant do that anymore. White knight Ian comes to damsel Kelly Ann’s rescue and well fate takes over. Oh and one stray puppy helps play Cupid!

So I highly recommend picking up a copy of Ian and reading about Tuckers Bluff and getting involved with the Farraday’s like I did. You won’t be disappointed!

I was given an ARC but the Review is all voluntary.

Ian by Chris Keniston is another fabulous book, in the Farraday Country series.
Well, it looks like the four legged matchmakers, are spreading their magic around, again. This delightful story is about the oldest Farraday cousin Ian,
& their family friend Kelly.
Ian is in town for his cousin Finn's wedding. He answered, his other cousin
DJ's phone, hearing Kelly asking for help.
Kelly works with Adam, at the Vet office.
Once the calvary swooped in & saved Kelly, Ian took responsible, for her,
for 24 hours. Ian is a Texas Ranger.
He took 2 weeks off, to help his Uncle out, on the ranch, while the newlyweds are on their honeymoon.
As Ian & Kelly spend time together,
their feelings deepen for each other, without them even realizing it. I loved the book,
& really enjoyed reading it.
A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE!!!

Ian: Farraday Country Book 9 is by Chris Keniston. It is a wonderful book but it makes me think about the author and how great her writing was. Do the townspeople really believe a shaggy dog portends marriage for one of the Farradays?
Kelly Ann Morgan was heading home from the Farraday wedding. Her feet hurt from the 5-inch heels she wore and she wanted only to get home and veg out. Instead, she finds herself stopping before the blue lights and thinking of getting home. However, she knew her Dad could be in careful too. The only one she could think of to call was DJ so she did. Instead of DJ answering his phone, Ian did and he came with DJ and others to get her out jail. Now, he could keep an eye on her.
Would the two of them find each other as their very own love? Check out the book and see what happens.

IAN is Book 9 in the Farraday County Series just can't say enough about it. Author Chris Keniston made me Laugh out loud so many times. In all the books before this one you always take care of family.

Ian is in town for his cousins wedding when he answers a call. A friend needs help, and that’s exactly what he’s going to do. His cousin DJ who also happens to be the police officer in Tucker’s Bluff, and Dale a friend, and former Dallas police officer all go to Kelly’s aid.
It seems Kelly got herself into some trouble. They would straighten it all out.

Kelly is thankful that Ian, DJ, and Dale came to her rescue.
So embarrassed to say the least. It seemed Ian took the lead being he is after all a Texas Ranger. He really went above and beyond. He took full responsibility for things.

Loved this book. So many laugh out loud moments.
Kelly had her hands full with her grandfather, and Uncle.
Turning to Ian may not have been a brilliant idea, but she needed someone.

Must read and the series too..

Sweet amusing romance…I was given a copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. When Ian rescues Kelly, it gives them an opportunity to know each other. Kelly is a little gun shy since her ex tore down her self-image. Ian is attracted to Kelly, but he is in town only a short time helping out his family at the ranch. Rescuing a stray dog in danger brings them even closer together and is an omen to many of the town's matchmakers. Kelly's grandfather and his brother's escapades add some amusing moments. This is a sweet romance which I enjoyed.

I just love this series. Hoping the author goes to the letter Z!!! So a puppy shows up and you know what that means - love is in the air. Ian and Kelly have know each other for awhile but really get to know each other under a pretty humorous situation - well not to Kelly. I really liked Kelly and thought Ian was a great boost to her self-esteem. Why do we let what other people say or think about us color our view of ourselves? Another great romance as well as a mystery. Bring on book 10!!!

Enjoyable addition that will keep you hooked!

Chris Keniston hit another book out of the park with this latest Farraday novel. Ian's story was sweet and saucy with lots of humor mixed into the story. Absolutely loved how this family and friends interact so it feel like I'm visiting a group of friends when reading. This book will keep you hooked from the start and you will want more from this family at the end. Highly recommend this book and the entire series.

Ian is the ninth book in the Farraday Country series. The first seven books are a twist on seven brides for seven brothers, now it has branched out to their cousins as well. Ian is home for his Finn’s wedding. Kelly finds herself in trouble when driving back after the wedding. Calling to get help from DJ, she get Ian but still gets the help she needs. This book has some fun and quirky moments because of her Grandpa and great uncle bored and keep themselves busy by being mischievous.

I really waited for Ian's story since the first time he appeared in the Farraday series. I was not disappointed. I really liked the flow of the plot and the banter between Ian and Kelly. The only negative comment I can say about it, is that like the rest of the Farraday books, the Farradays seems too ficitional and not real. However, I highly recommend the book and can't wait for the next book in the series.

I think this is my favourite of this series of Farraday Country men & women. I'm not sure what exactly makes it stand out but I know you won't be disappointed when you read this novel! I love it, I love the growing families (including the special dogs) and I love the relationship between Ian & Kelly. It reeled me in right from the beginning. I was given an advanced copy so I could provide an honest review. I definitely recommend this book!

I loved the latest Farraday family installment. Each of these books has a sweet romance. Kelly, who works for Adam, has run into some legal troubles. DJ, Dale and Ian come to her rescue but Ian accepts responsibility for her and drives her back to Tucker’s Bluff. Kelly continues to have some issues that keep Ian seeing her. While we have the interesting dogs of romance involved this story is still unique and fresh. Kudos to Chris Keniston.

Another fabulous and great read from Chris Keniston. It was a sweet romance between Ian & Kelly after Ian comes to Kelly's rescue. Of course the four legged creature played in getting Ian & Kelly together :).

The antics of Kelly's her grandfather & uncle provided the loud out moments and a little suspense to the story. Love the way Ian dealt with the mischievous duo to get Kelly out of her predicament.

I really enjoyed reading Ian, one of my favourite in the series.

3.5 stars. Ian is a cousin, he is a Texas ranger. Kelly is Grace and Betsy's friend. Ian comes to Kelly's aid shenanigans she find herself in jail after being stopped by the police after Flynn's wedding. With the help of a puppy and an adventure seeking grandfather and great uncle one thing leads to another. They get to know one another better and after a thief catching Sunday afternoon/evening they make things work. A reasonable read with a few laugh inducing scenarios.

Ian is the ninth book in the Farraday Country series. It is a twist on seven brides for seven brothers. Each book focuses on a new member of the Farraday family. This one focuses on one of the cousins, Ian, who is home for Finn's wedding. After some trouble, Ian finds himself helping out Kelly. But will her secret ruin it all? I really enjoyed this story. This is the most fun of the Farraday series. Ian is a cousin who doesn't live in West Texas but he finds someone to love there. Like the owe Farraday cousins, there are mysterious dogs involved but this book brings a little map cap adventure. I really enjoy each book in this series especially how they build on the characters.

Wow! Another great addition to the Farrady Country series!

In this story, we get to know Ian who is a cousin of the Farradays. Hannah is his sister. Ian is a Ranger (that's all I needed to hear) and is a firm believer in upholding the law.

I loved Ian's story!! He was a hot, sexy Ranger. For me, the bantering between him and Kelly just made the story!!
