Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Minor tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Lettering is darkened. Visible wear marks to boards. What a lovely book. The author's love of the area really shines through. It's full of loads of interesting period anecdotes and facts. A real goldmine of info and stories.
I particularly liked the man who saw a figure "black as coal" and thought it was either a hobgoblin or the devil, but it turned out to be a travelling chimney sweep.
