I have known fear before. Now I’ve built a new life, one where I kick ass and take names but the terror of my past still haunts me. It colors every relationship I’ve ever had and no man can get close.
Except the one I want to kill half the time.
I am the shadow that haunts the night. I am a hunter, a protector...a force for good...I am Jonas Castillo.
Jessica (JJ) Jones is the bane of my existence. A bright light in the dark. The crack in my armor. A loud, argumentative beautiful crack in my armor.
And right now she needs me…she just doesn’t know it yet.

She lives with her husband and their two sons in the picturesque mountains of Northern Virginia even though she is afraid of insects, birds, butterflies and other humans.
Since starting her indie publishing journey she has sold over a million books and her titles have hit the NYT and USA Today bestseller lists more than a dozen times. She also holds a Master’s degree in Business from a prestigious college that would no doubt be scandalized at how she’s using her expensive education.
Forceful Enemies to Lovers, Military Romance, Shameless Series by M. Malone, Nana Malone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is the perfect story that can read after you've finished the Shameless/Shameful/Unashamed trilogy, before reading the Force Duet. It gives closure for Lucia and Noah story, and the start of JJ and Jonas. It sets the stage for the characters in the story but it also give answers to questions if this is the first book you read. It establishes the dynamics of the cast's relationships. I recommend you read the Shameless series first, if you don't read Shameless this will contains spoilers or it can make you want to read Shameless and nothing can ruin the reading of the Shameless trilogy. That said, I think you will become like me and be addicted to these books, so that you won't want to miss not one of these books. This is a short, but it's powerful and fantastic read.
Leave it to two of the best temptress in the business to peak my interest and then walk away. It's obvious that Jonas and JJ have chemistry. Where it will lead is still up in the air. The flames are about ready to explode. Looking forward to watching the battle unfold.
This book is the next series of the men at Blake Security. This is Jonas and JJ's story. Ever since the two of them met they didn't get along. Always fussing and getting on each others nerves. The more they fought the underlined attraction was always there. Jonas is a protector and he wanted to protect JJ but she is so strong illed and independent. But she wasn't always that way. JJ's home caught on fire and Jonas rescued her. From that moment on he didn't want her out his sight. JJ has been keeping a secret from her past from everyone and that blast from her past is coming back to haunt her. She's scared and Jonas wants to save her. They finally talk and find out that their past was to close for confort. Now we can see what makes Jonas the protector that he is. I love all the twist and turns, the suspense and mystery. Most of all the strong alpha males. I wasn't sure how I felt at the end when JJ's past shows up and the cliffhanger... I'mon the fence. Major kudos to the Malone collaboration!!!
This is the perfect "bridge" book to read after you've finished the Shameless/Shameful/Unashamed trilogy, before reading the Force Duet. It not only sets up the characters but it answers questions and establishes the dynamics of the cast's relationships. If you intend to read the Shameless series, don't read this until you're done with all three books - it contains major spoilers and would ruin the main theme of the trilogy. That said, if you are (like me) addicted to these books, then you don't want to miss this one. It's short, but it's powerful.
These two authors are really starting to write some great stuff. I have not read the last two books in the Shame series and I think that really needs to be done before reading this introduction for the Forceful series. This is just a really short teaser to whet ones’ appetite for the next series. I am going to go and read the other two books in Shame then come back to this again. This is my honest review of this book.
Seeing things from this perspective gives you just that extra step needed to move in just a bit more to see where Jessica and Jonas my go with things. This short quickie open your eyes to the full length novel FORCE . . . go forward and see where it takes you.
Forceful is a prequel to the upcoming Force Duet. While only three chapters it's enough to introduce you to the characters and get a sense of their purpose, personality and backstory. It's also just enough to get whet you appetite and get you excited for Force. I cannot wait to see what happens!
This is a teaser to get you interested in the next installment of Blake Security's adventures. It starts off with JJ and Jonas. Leaving the reader wanting more. To get more, get Force (The Force Duet #1).
Great teaser! M. Malone and Nana Malone wrote a powerful and intriguing series in the Shameless trilogy. Forceful is the perfect prologue to grab your curiosity and tease your palate in anticipation for Jonas and JJ's story. Plus we get a little "catch up" for Noah & Lucia.
I’m reading this before I should but it’s left me with a lot of questions but I’m hoping the other books will help. Jessica’s apartment is on fire. He’s there to save her. But who was in her apartment? Who could be after her.
This short into was just amazing. It had just enough mysterious events and off beat characters to pique my interest. A bunch of special forces guys, yes I'm all in...
