A faraway land is where Fairies dwell,
Who can do anything, with a wave and a spell.
Legends recounted from tales of old
Are forged by these fairies, and the wills of the bold.
And yet, there’s always something amiss
A hidden side to that eternal bliss,
Now, a Fairytale begins again,
Perhaps this time, with a different end.
Peritale tells the story of a magicless fairy named Periwinkle, and her quest to gain her peers' approval by fulfilling a simple Fairytale. If she is able to join two designated humans in destined wedlock, she can prove she's just as good as any other fairy!

Very pretty, love the universe. Too bad it's not finished but I had a good time being immersed in it. Side story with gay parents was adorable too!

i loved every moment of this, from the fairytale Cinderella-Tangled-esque plot to the very queer romance, to the character design (Lavender, Celeste, and Vallery are my faves), to the art. the world, everything in it, is very pretty. the fantasy and romance is excellent. however.
i'm sobbing.
it is an actual crime that this isn't finished because i need to know the ending. i want to see my little gays kiss!! hug!! find romance!! i want the best for them.

Sweet art and a gentle story, though there's interesting darker elements sprinkled through it. I'm excited for the author/artist to pick it up again after they're done with their other graphic novel project.
