Erica was out trying to celebrate getting her master’s degree when she happened upon a murder. The people with her were kidnapped and killed.
Jonas has been given a new assignment-he has to protect someone from being killed and when he gets to the secret location and sees who he is now protecting, lets just say he ISNT happy at all.
Erica and Jonas have known each other for years. They haven’t really gotten along at all so what will happen when these two are secluded and have to be alone together 24/7 while everyone else tries to keep Erica alive and find the person(s) trying to kill her? Can Jonas admit his true feelings? Will he finally open up to Erica and will Erica herself admit her true feelings?
This was a fantastic romantic suspense story that deals with PTSD, past family issues and two hard-headed people who cant admit they are in love with each other. I adore Jonas and at times was worried he wouldn’t own up to his true feelings and would let Erica walk out of his life but the ending was so beautiful, I had tears. This is a beautiful standalone in the Titan Security series.

A suspenseful story that not only gives us tension and thrills but also steamy erotica too. The plot has the two main characters disliking each other, and are forced in to a situation that neither of them are sure what will happen. It comes out later in the story that they have a lot in common, they both have pasts they'd like to forget, their feelings begin to change and they finally fall in love.
This was a great read. I intend to check out other books by this author I enjoyed this one so much!

Jonas has been given a new assignment, he has to protect someone and when he sees who she is he is not really thrilled about it.
Erica and her friends have been targeted by some very bad people. To keep her protected, she has to stay with none other than Jonas Forgione. Could it get any worse? This is the man who treated her horribly at his sister’s wedding.
Jonas is surprised at how his body reacts to Erica. She is more beautiful than he remembers.
Why did she have to be the first person to grab my libido’s attention? Erica also has an attraction to Jonas. Of course I wanted him in my bed, just look at the man. He was built like a freaking Greek god.
These two had a hate, love relationship. While in hiding they become close and realize they have much more in common than they thought. They also agree to try a relationship and see where it goes. And boy does it ever get hot and steamy. Jonas is a dominant and when Erica agreed to submit it was game on.
Just when they thought they were safe all heck breaks loose. Will Jonas be able to keep Erica safe? There are so many great things about this read. I was laughing, crying, hot and bothered, and yeah a little worried about their safety. I loved Jonas and how great he was with Erica. She was the perfect fit for him and they meshed well together. The ending was great, I loved the surprise. I would love to see more from these two. We do get a sneak peek into the next book in the series, Makenna’s Trust. This is my first read from Cynthia, I look forward to reading more from her.

Cynthia P. O'Neill captivated me with her Need series which was suspenseful, addicting, and highly erotic. Now she's back with the second standalone in her brand spanking new series, Titan Security, and what a journey this was. Sexy. Intense. Captivating. Jonas and Erica were everything I had hoped they would be from that intriguing blurb and gave me just a little bit more.
Jones's Redemption was an amazing book with a plot riddled with heart, suspense, and danger that grabs you right out. O'Neill has a way with her words that's tantalizing, where they flow seamlessly, almost getting you lost at times....and I too found myself in a trance several moments while this book was hot on my kindle.
She's in hiding and he's the one who is protecting her. What starts out as a sorta-kinda love-hate-lust-hate deal turns into so much more as they spend time together and open up to each other.
It won't be easy , danger is lurking, and their road is riddled with bumps, complications, and twists... but Jonas and Erica have that addicting chemistry and unforgettable spark that's totally undeniable in all the best ways. And a love like theirs is worth it all.
This author writes with so much heart and such swoonworthy heroes. Forgiveness. Redemption. Love. This is not a book or series you want to miss!
I definitely recommend this book.

Jonas's Redemption is full of suspense, intrigue and intense characters. Jonas and Erica are both kick ass characters who really don't like each other at the beginning. The main characters are suffering both suffering from a form of PTSD. Cynthia O'Neill deals with the dynamic of PTSD from a societal and an emotional standpoint in a very tactful and insightful manner. Jonas's flashbacks, guilt and nightmares from his military service make him feel unworthy and dangerous enough that he has no close personal relationships and no place in society. Erica has past traumatic and current traumas that make her very jumpy and uptight with others. Take these two characters and place them on a deserted tropical island and you have the dramatic premise of this book. You will learn that they have so much in common and that is what makes this book work.Character development of even the secondary characters is endpoint and lend credence to the story. Cynthia O'Neill is an author you should really consider.

This was a cool story to read. Jonas is hired to protect Erica. The only problem is they don't like each other. They have some history. But this isn't a predictable love hate story. This story is filled with humor, struggle, romance, hot love scenes, action and surprises. I really enjoyed the way the author told the story. This story had my attention from the start to beginning. And I found myself rooting for these two to finally accept that they are a good match. And there were times I wanted to smack them! I recommend this story to anyone who loves a good romance and a story that will surprise them. Just when you think you know what's going to happen you are surprised.
Five out of five stars!

I had the opportunity to ARC read Jonas’s Redemption, which is the second book in Cynthia P. O’neill’s, Titan Security Trilogy.
This was an enjoyable, action-packed read, that addressed the complications of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, from both a military background and emotional trauma.
Jonas has met Erica in the past but is now in charge of making sure she survives, after an evil crime lord decides she, and her friends must die, because they accidentally video taped evidence of a crime.
They are alone, on a secure tropical island, so the chance for things to get steamy becomes a reality.
Just look at the cover, with BT Urruela as model, and If you are intrigued by military action that romances, you will want to read Cynthia’s story.

Well Jonas is given an assignment to protect someone and it's none other than the girl he was completely rude to. He's having PTSD issues and now his body is waking up to Erica. This is not how he planned things. Erica and her friends are being targeted so Jonas and her are pretty much hiding out on an island. They have your typical love-hate relationship and boy is the chemistry off the charts!!! After the talking they finally decide to give it a try as long as Erica is willing to submit to Jonas. Things get extra spicy!!!! Things are going a little too well, so that's when it all goes wrong and those bad guys make their move.
I loved the action, romance, and sexy times! If you love erotic romance then you'll love this book!

WOW - Cynthia P. O'Neill just keeps writing them better and better. I just hope that she doesn't run out of ideas for more books in this series!!!

What was great about Jona's Redemption is as the story unfolds you see how much these two need each other. And not on a level of dependence but on the level of soul mate and love. Their pasts make for all the turns of the story but the future is what they are striving for. I enjoyed reading these characters come to life and their lives intertwine. As always the suspense and action keeps you a bit anxious but only helps build that great ending.

This is the first book that I've read of Cynthia P. O'Neill's. I love to read most Contemporary Romance with Suspense. For unknown reason's to me I wasn't able to get into Jonas's Redemption. This book wasnt able to hold my attention. After reading 28% into the book I gave up. I will possibly read other books in the future by Cynthia P. O'Neill. This book just wasn't for me.

Jonas & Erica have a lot of pain to work through, but they are obviously perfect for each other! They are essentially stuck on an island together, so what better time to work through those issues? ; )
There were a couple hiccups for me with the constant reminders of who other characters were. I don't remember this being a problem in other stories I've read (and loved!) by this author, so I'm not sure if my sensitivity to it has changed or if the style has changed. (Example - a mention of the Dr.'s Bradford & then an explanation of their first names, then using their first names & explaining they are the Dr.'s Bradford again, several times.) Each time this happened, it pulled me out of the story for a brief moment, so that was tough. And altho I loved what happens in the ending, it felt a little rushed to me after everything else they were going through in the story.
What I LOVED - the banter between Jonas & Erica, and Jonas & the guys. There are some definite LOL moments. The scenery - it's very well described & I felt like this was an island getaway I reallllyyyy would like to visit! The sexy times were well-placed and H O T & steamy. I'm a fan of Jonas's particular "kink" so those scenes were probably my favorite. *fans self*

Once again Cynthia P. O'Neill has created a world filled with love, thrill, & some hot sex too. The storyline keeps your attention with the suspense of what will happen next & if the 2 main characters will ever let their feeling be known. I loved that it wasn't an insta-love really. They almost hate each other it seems but as you go & fall in love with the characters you see their relationship build also. Simply put, it is a great read and if you have read any others by this author then you will love this one. If you haven't read any others then get to reading because her stories just get better with each release.
