Gripping first book by new Author Blake Hudson.
I downloaded this book from new Author Blake Hudson after readng the blurb, as this is my prefered genre to read,i was hoping that this book ticked all the boxes for me,well what can i say Blake you certanly got me hooked.There was plenty of pace,action suspence and romance throughout with twist's and turns that i never saw coming, it kept me intrigued all the way through.
I am always happy to give new Author's a chance so when i picked this book up i realy wanted to like this but i needed have worried as i loved it and got stuck right into Lucas Knox and his character.
The story follows one Hot male Lucas Knox who is a former SAS Chaptain with his elite skills for hire,he is a badass with heart and he calculates everything he takes on,his character draws you into his world of threats and espionage where you never know what is going to happen next.
I never saw this ending coming and what a ending it is,i was openmouthed how it all came together and was totally shocked as you left me needing the next book,as this book leaves you on a cliffhanger.
If you like a good thriller with plenty of action this is the book for you,pick this up you wont be dissoppointed.

Wow! Move over James Bond there is definitely a new sherif in town!
Ok. Now even tho this book is not me prefers reading genre I very much enjoyed Knox. He’s soooo serious and sexy *swoon* This action packed book just keeps you guessing and anxiously awaiting for the heroes next move! Highly recommended ❤️

OMG
What can I say Knox is a total bad ass, he's very calculated in everything he does he draws you in from the start of this book to the very end. I really didn't want the book to end and can not wait for the next instalment. It was an epic read very well written and very entertaining.

Promising debut novel from Blake Hudson. If you are a petrol-head, like action and guns with some romance on the side then this book will be a winner for you. Recommended.

Absolutely amazing debut!
I'm hooked! The suspense, the action, the intrigue, the heart stopping adventure of the whole book. Waiting until January 2018 will be excruciating! Blake how could you do this to us? Making us wait is awful. The story has a reminder on my calendar already for January 1st.
This is a book you must read! If you enjoy a fast paced, action filled, surprise packed story you MUST read Mr. Lucas Knox!!!

Beyond expectations.
Blake's debut novel genuinely blew me away. I don't have expectations reading an author I've never read before, or a book that's the start of a series. Going in, I knew it would be action packed. The attention to detail, world building, details on action scenes, connecting dots; it was all written so incredibly well!! The character development though is the most crucial, and the creation of Lucas Knox sealed the deal. He's definitely a character to follow in his adventure, and watch develop in this fantastic new series.

My two star rating is ONLY my opinion, and I mean no disrespect to other reviewers, and definitely no disrespect to the author. Through the first half, I had been feeling that this book was heading towards 3-4 stars. It was giving me the usual gratuitous buzz that I like from reading a lone wolf amazingly kicking butt, getting out of impossible situations, and ends up getting the beautiful woman, all done in some variation of James Bond. As I passed the midpoint, I began to lose interest and stopped reading it, which is really rare for me to do. Despite my unflattering two stars, it is rated is four stars by other reviewers. I do not dispute their opinions, but the story just stopped working for -me- and I decided to stop.

This started off to be a decent read but went downhill fast. Our hero(Lucas Knox) seems to be indestructible(typical of similar ex-ops series).
His description of all women he meets, he fantisizes what he wants to do with them including the one he really cares about. For a short period you couldn't keep track of all groups involved and who worked for who.
There are a few twists but in the end, you are left hanging in the wind! Nothing is finalized so you're need to purchase next book and who knows, maybe the one after that.
This is why I won't continue with this character and author as well.

it was a great book until
Full of action and suspense then you come to what you believe is the end but no, it keeps getting better then you do reach the end of the book with to many unanswered questions and walking on pins and needles to see what happens next and you end up getting kicked in the gut as there are two more books in the Series you will have to read before it’s all over. Omg wow. Not my usual book that I read but it was fantastic.
There were so many twists and turns that were so realistic but unexpected I was on the end of my seat.
All I can say is I don’t want to give anything away.
Also I am waiting with bated breath for the next instalment. I am now an addict.

THIS BOOK HAD EVERYTHING YOU WOULD LOVE IN AN ACTION PACKED THRILLER. SO MANY TWISTS AND TURNS THAT LEFT YOU GUESSING WHO REALLY WAS THE GOOD GUYS. PLUS THE ENDING CAME OUT OF NOWHERE I DID NOT EXPECT. THERE IS A CLIFFHANGER BUT IT HAS YOU RUNNING TO GRAB BOOK 2.

Loved this book, had a Chris Ryan feel to it. A few unexpected twists and turns - a gripping thriller if you like type of thing ( I do ) on the downside; maybe a bit James Bondish with some unrealistic action - Anyway could not put it down and waiting of the next one

A pretty good story which I enjoyed. Could do with some more editing in terms of grammar and spelling errors. I noticed that the author's bio says he is dyslexic, so it's not his fault - editor needs to give it another once over.

Did not enjoy this book, lots of spelling errors and not a great story I’ll not be looking for the continuation of the story in a second book found it had enough to finish this one.

Amazing book. Really well written and researched. The first few chapters took a little breaking in to get into but after that I got completely hooked by the characters and the storyline. As you delve further into the inner workings of Lucas Knox you get a sense of the man he really is, you also get to know what makes him tick. If you like fast cars, motorbikes and some action thrown in for good measure, then this is definitely worth a read!
