Will a powerful drug created to heal be twisted for evil purposes? Jon Randall, a molecular biologist, has been highly honored by his employer for developing the experimental drug, SV-136, which has proven effective in treating Alzheimer’s disease. Charles Lanier, an envious co-worker, reasons that if the drug works so well with Alzheimer’s patients, perhaps it will give him the boost in intelligence he needs to better compete with his rival. Going against his training, ethics and conscience, he self-injects.
The intelligence-high Lanier experiences is far beyond his wildest dreams, but leads to consequences exceeding his worst nightmares, putting his and Randall’s life in grave danger.

This is a page-turning suspense novel!
Written by a new author, I received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This was a book that I could hardly put down! The story was action packed, things kept happening, many twists and turns, and more!
What if a new drug, developed to help Alzheimers patients' brains, would be used by a person with a normal brain. Because the Alzheimers patients are showing increased brain function, would a normal brain also be able to increase brain function to a near genius state?
A scientist decides to take the risk to find out. His shocking discovery leads him to the highest bidder, an unscrupulous character, in exchange for his company's secrets.
The developer of this exciting new drug is devastated when he is falsely accused of betraying his company.
Kidnappings, threats, mobs, and more make this a page turner.
There was a lot going on in this story, and lots of characters. The only thing I didn't quite like was that sometimes I found it hard to remember what character was doing what in the story line. Some parts of the story didn't quite flow together.
In spite of this, I really did like the story! It is full of suspense and a very intriguing plot.

The author described the premise of the book and I was immediately interested. He was kind enough to send me a copy and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

John Randall, along with his team, has developed a vaccine for Alzheimer's. But others have another idea. Will make them smart too? So begins the fast paced, exciting, and surprising adventure. I enjoyed this book because it was a little adventure, a little bit Sci-Fi and kept me interested. I always like books that have some surprises, and this one certainly does. It also included faith which I felt was a good part of the story and didn't overpower the story. It brings up the questions of who you turn to in times of trouble. Although it is only the second book by this author, it wasn't evident when reading it. I highly recommend reading this book!
