The story had an interesting plot, although slightly creepy in my opinion, and then it end without a satisfying conclusion. I do realize this book was written as a tool for teaching Spanish and so I don't want to be too critical. Yes, I learned a some new words and phrases! And I appreciate that I got to read it with my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
I recommend this book as mandatory reading for all spanish beginners. It was truly fun reading this and i really picked up new words. The chapter summary helped me know i was really understanding and the quiz at the end was so cool. If youre a beginner i highly recommend this book. There's absolutely no way you're not going to love it. I cant believe it i just read my first whole book in spanish. Wow. I thought i could never do it.
A very strange plot. I don’t know why someone would behave like this. Was expecting it to take a dark turn tbh. Was okay, wouldn’t say I enjoyed it, however it’s always good to find material like this to practice reading in Spanish.
Would’ve preferred the vocab list at the end of each chapter rather than all shoved at the end of the book.
I managed to understand most of this. I’ve been learning Spanish from an app. Good book. Some of the English is very quaint. No English people can have been consulted.
Good to bridge gap between A1 and A2. Repetition and summaries help with learning. Good range of vocab. Recommend this to failed beginners looking to read and learn.
