Soroyan was meant to be King of the wolf pack. Raven was an avenging angel sent to patrol the Fallen—until evil warrior witches attacked and sank them both into darkness with no room for anything or anyone but vengeance.

A promise to his dead mate and hatred kept Soroyan, an immortal wolf shifter alive. But four-hundred-years is too long. With his volatile power under tight rein, he’s done his duty to protect his pack. Only now, a purple-eyed female he tried to hate, has shattered the ice around his heart.

For twenty-years Raven has hunted the enemy—closed off and alone. Until the big bad wolf awakens her. He sets her blood on fire, except she also senses a dark void eating away at him. Afraid to feel again, Raven must decide how much she will give up to save the male who just may be her second chance at love.

Into the Light....

Time is running out for the Raizarch Wolves as they arrive at the home of the Okami Wolves. If the curse (they can only shift to human for 6 hours a week) is to be lifted in time...The first born Raizarch female must mate to the stronger Okami king Kyrian's son Traven. But he has been kidnapped by the evil Day/Night Walker king Val Jean. Will they be able to find him in time?

Dark and brooding Enforcer and brother to king of the Okami pack Soroyan is beside himself because of his inability to have found his nephew Traven. When an opportunity to finally get him arises, he blindly and without a thought for the consequences leaves the compound only to fall into a trap. Now the strongest and most powerful wolf of the Okami is a mere human having been stripped of his powerful magic and his wolf trapped inside him. There has only been darkness in him since losing his family all those many hundreds of years ago and now with no magic and his only companion his wolf, lost to him he has nothing to live for. He is no longer immortal and can die, until he sees and scents her, could it be that he may have another chance to live in the light? Will this female accept the darkness in him?

She was feared by all, the nightmare of children The Angel of Death. After having lost her mate and unborn child to the llyium all she has lived for is to annihilate them all. Raven sister of Zander has no desire to feel for another, but when she travels to earth in search of her suffering brother she is taken aback when she sees Soroyan especially when she feels herself having thoughts and feelings she had long lost since her mate died. Besides, she feels the want to put a smile of pleasure on that face full of frowns.

Their passion is so strong, but will these 2 souls be able to balance the light and dark in each other and live normally again?

We need a new/higher rating scale. This one took off-the-charts to new meaning. This one was the more that would be expected of a growing series. It delivered the characters, the plot, the intrigue, the paranormal/supernatural world, action, drama, adventure.

These two characters (Raven & Soroyan) provides that additional layer that sets this addition to the series apart. I feel like a new level has been reached. We still have a chance to see our previous characters. Things all find a way to tie in to each other.

I would not call this a series that you could just jump right in on the first book you see. I found that as each book was released the love grows more and more. I do recommend reading Dracones Rogue, but I suggest that you start at the beginning and get the full affect of it all.

Full of Detail..

This book is the fifth book in this series, it centers around Soroyan/Raven, and is filled with great detail.

Soroyan has had a difficult live to say the least and he survives on pushing everyone away.

He is a complicated man who is dedicated to his pack, abruptly his life changes when Raven enters it.

The story line quickly unravels.

Overall, and engaging read.

It was a riveting, thrilling book. I have enjoyed this one the most. It was the romantic, emotional love book so far by a mile. It's good to see a author write a book about characters who get second chances at love, life, and making amends with family. With each book comes new and exciting characters to get to know and read their story.

His life is now dedicated to seeking revenge on those that would hurt him again and his pack. Especially that of his dead family. But when he catches sight of a purple eyed winged angel. He starts to feel something what is it...

Dracones Rogue is the fifth book in the Dracones series. Author Sheri-Lynn Marean presents us wirh Soroyans story and I was so ready to dive in headfirst. I have swooned over Soroyan since Dracones Awakening and the buildup to his story was present throughout the entire series.

Soroyan is dark and brooding. He has a past that haunts him, and he doesn't open up to anyone about it. Not even his brother Kyrian.

Raven's past doesn't haunt her, she hunts it. She has spent the majority of her life, hunting the Illyium, taking down as man as she can, avenging the death of her loved ones.

The stars align and Soroyan and Raven cross paths, their fates intertwined from the momemt his turquoise eyes locked with her violet eyes. They both have pieces of the past to let go of in order to have a future and the push and pull of these characters is intense. Their scenes are steamy, but it doesn't take away from the story, it only enhances it.

In true Dracones fashion, there is plenty of action, heartstopping moments that make you afraid to turn the page, and scenes that will make your jaw drop. We get to touch base with all the characters we know and have come to love, each story arc furthering and teasing into the next book.

The author never disappoints when it comes to telling her stories in the most satisfying of ways, and Dracones Rogue is no exception. Its a bittersweet thought at Soroyan finding a mate that isn't me, but I couldn't be more pleased at the outcome.

There are many intriguing characters in the Dracones Series. Soroyan is a standout character. In this book we find out what makes Soroyan so bitter and unable to be the leader and King he was meant to be. Soroyan had a mate and three young cubs, they were murdered. He left his pack to hunt down those responsible and extract revenge. He was a wolf that has lived only for revenge and killing. His younger brother, Kyrian, had to assume his leadership. Soroyan has mourned for all he lost for hundreds of years.
Soroyan now serves as an enforcer in his brother’s pack. He meets some other supernaturals and Dracones that live nearby and he comes to trust them. He interacts with Tierney and slowly starts to feel some emotions again.
Raven is an avenging Angel, sister to Zander and Aunt to Tierney. Raven has been hunting the evil druids known as the Ilyium. She has loved and lost her mate too.
These two meet and it is unforgettable. They are perfect for each other but can they trust and love again?
This is a very compelling story with great characters. You will experience the rush of attraction, the danger of battle, despair at love lost and perhaps regained. It was a sit on the edge of your seat ride. I was so wanting this dark, tortured man to see the good in the world around him. Soroyan is an unforgettable character/man. Great book, this is a series not to miss.

"AGAIN, NOT THE END". Dracones Rogue, book 5...for thousand yrs. evil Druids called The Ilyium, have helped bring evil and destruction to the different realms. It must all be stopped!!! Okami wolf enforcer, Soroyan, has mourned his mate and young for four hundred yrs. His pack has joined forces with the Dracones. Supernaturals, humans, too. They continue to grow. With members, capabilties. As a group. As a family. Newcomer, Raven is avenging her own losses. Is she the devil, an angel, a dragon?!? Sherri-Lynn Marean's Dracones series is written with a plethora of emotions. Page turning action. Suspence. Unpredictable twists and turns. Romance. Some new, some HEA, some not. Some develop throughout the series. Revolving cast, new and reoccurring along the way. Reader shares with characters...depths of loss, fear, suffering, caring, friendship, need, love. Moments of pain, rejoice, celebrations. Each book contains enough backstory to be a standalone BUT as a series there is a building relationship for readers. Each book ending leads to future books. I received this book as an ARC. I am voluntarily posting this review.

I enjoyed reading this novel. It includes a well developed cast of characters with their own levels of strong and weak points, and this book is basically a second chance love story. When Raven, the avenging angel, and Soroyan, the werewolf that should have been born into royalty, meet and discover that they both had lost the great loves of their lives...they rediscover love for one another on a whole new level.

This is a fantasy book that involves an array of shifters and fantastic creatures just trying to make sense of it all. It does involve quite a few steamy sexual acts, so it's probably only ideal for readers over 17 that are comfortable reading books that contain several intense lust filled scenes.

I loved the fact I got to learn more about Soroyan in this book (elements about his past have always been so elusive in the other Dracones novels), and I totally fell for Raven and her willingness to be tough when she needs to be, but then also showing she has the strength to soften up when she feels more comfortable and at ease. I read an advanced copy of this book, but wanted to share my honest opinion about it here.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Dracones Rogue by Sheri-Lynn Marean is Book 5 in the Dark Dragons series. This is Soroyan and Raven's story. I so love this series! First because, well... Dragons. But honestly, there is so much to get into in this series. There is action, adventure, movement through other worlds, romance, sexy shifters, mean bad guys, witches, angels and dragons! This series is a well thought out and executed romp. The spectacular world building drags you through portals that will have you looking around yourself to make sure you haven't actually ported to another world. The characters are so well written that they come alive. I have laughed, cried, been shocked and experienced an emotional rollercoaster that I want to continue to experience. This set of books are made to be read in order and should be experienced in that order. You'll get the situations that unfold from varying perspectives that make you appreciate the stories that much more. If you love Patricia Brigg's Mercyverse, you must read Dracones!

This honest and voluntary review was made possible by reading an advance copy.

Such a heart breaking story for a variety of reasons. First, we discover what made Soroyan such a hard wolf to get long with. After losing Delsie and his three young children he cut off his emotions except for rage and vengeance. He left his leadership of the pack to his much younger brother Kyrian and set off to find those who destroyed Delsie, his children and other members of the pack. Then there is Keshiel also known as Raven, she too lost her mate and unborn child. She too set off to destroy those who killed them. She feels her brother Zander's pain and that he needs her somehow so she comes to Earth to find Zander and is drawn To Soroyan as is he to her.

There is so much more than what I have revealed. I highly recommend this series to all shifter romance lovers out there who like some adventure with their romance stories.

I voluntarily read an advance copy and was not compensated in anyway for this opinion. Know that I was truly blown away with this emotional story.

In this book, we learn a little bit more about Soroyan's past and more about Tierney's family. We are introduced to Tierney's aunt, her father's sister. We also learn about her dad's true history.

This really shed light on why he acts the way he does. The story explores more realms which means more action/drama. As with the other books, there is a lot of mental health issues. Suicide is mentioned quite often. I have said this in other reviews, but they should all invest in some therapy!

The author is a bit repetitive when describing Soroyan's feelings. This took me out of the story when he kept mentioning how he wasn't attracted to another character. The timeline in these books is really fast. Everything in the series is happening at about the same time, so over a couple of weeks.
Other than these two things, the story kept me reading and I'm eager to learn more about this world.

This is an enjoyable read and a great escape from the current news cycle.

I did receive this as an ARC.

I wish I could choose a favorite of Sheri-Lynn's books but each book is better then the last. She continues to grow as an author with each new book. This book focuses on our big bad wolf beginning with a little background on what made Soroyan grow so cold so many years ago. He avoided taking his rightful place as king, leaving the responsibility to his brother instead, as he worked through his vengeful fury. Many years later he still grieves but in this book he finds a reason to warm his ice cold heart. Meeting Raven they're a perfect match, even though they are both to stubborn to allow themselves chances at being happy together. Together they work towards finding his nephew who is being held captive and stumbles upon a few surprises along the way. This book was like an emotional rollercoaster at times, and had a few big surprises I didnt see coming. As always I cant wait for the next book to be released and dread the anticipation until I can read the next chapter.

Missing A Piece of Soul

If I had to say which book has been my favorite I believe Rogue has been moved to the top. The character have all been around for awhile now and they have evolved into very worthy characters.

Soroyan is a bad wolf (not boy) by anyone standard and not in a good kind of way. Raven is a revenge driven fallen angel who is just a little bit more than most know. These two are damaged individuals.

The story has held my attention from the very start and I did not put it down until it was done. The story line has been interwoven over several books with each main character having their "own" being told. as the forerunner of the saga.

This reader recommends you start with the first book in the series so that you can follow along and get the richer picture.

I have voluntarily read and reviewed this book received from the author without obligation to do so.

This is basically Soroyan and Raven's second chance at true love story, but has all of the other characters we have grown to love and loath in it too . Soroyan is almost captured by Val Jean, but remains collared and it's driving his wolf slowly crazy or is that crazier ? There are many skirmishes with the bad guys, some world hopping and the finding of family long thought dead. This is the oerfect fifth book for the Dracones/Illyium fight and I can't wait to see if Raven finds the missing and who Lucian will chose to mate !! Lots of minor cliffhangers and one major so get ready to sit down and gobble this book up in one reading !! 5⭐'s for Sheri-Lynn Marean's newest volume in the Dracones series . I recieved a gifted copy of the book and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review

Like any good fine wine, Dracones: Rogue was sweet to the senses. Each book in the series gets better and better as you read them. When I first started the series, I was not sure I would have loved it as there was so much action, so many characters, I was not sure I would follow. But I am happy to say that even after 5 books, I can still follow the action and all of their loving characters. Many of them have stories we can relate to, each of them have their own voice and it is easy to get swept into the action, having us vote for the good guys who live in this crazy world.
If you love shifters, loads of actions and scenes that will make your toes curl, you will definitively love this book and this series. But in order to follow it, you need to start with the first book and go from there. Trust me, you will not regret it.

So Worth the Read & Price. 💕

If you've read the blurb, then you don't need me to explain what it's about, but I will state that this book, "Dracone's Rogue" is a story worthy of 5 Star's plus.
Until I read this, Dracone's Thaniel Bk4 was my favourite as
I did so enjoy Thaniel's story but now for me personally this was so much more better.
I think because Soroyan and Raven were, if not in looks, but in age and maturity, they resonated more for me.
This is an excellent well written addition to the Dracone's series and am excited to read more.
The twist and turns, questions, answers, more questions, Angel's, a multitude of Were's, Day & Night Walkers, Dragon's, other Worlds and Mated Love.
All this you will find between these pages, plus more.
I do however recommend you start at the beginning of it all with "Dracones Primalthorn"
Highly Recommended.

Wow! "Dracones Rogue" is fan-freaking-tastic! Ms. Marean knows how to raise the bar on every new book she pens! Straight out of the gate & beyond the winning horn blast, this fast paced PNR action adventure romantic suspense must read will take you on an emotional roller-coaster ride you won't forget! ... Another unique storyline, great attention-to-detail & always well defined characters that are relatable, and will engage all readers! ... I was blown away and glued to my seat turning pages, not wanting to put it down! Even tho I voluntarily read this without any outside influence, I also pre-ordered my own Kindle book to keep, so yes :D I do highly recommend this to all adult 18+ fans of fiction and all of the books by this author!

Another masterpiece from Sheri-lynn. Spoiler free review here but what i can say is that if you have admired Soroyan from afar as he drifted in and out of the previous books, if he has grabbed your attention like he has mine then you will love this book. Indeed, this is the book for you.

We learn exactly what tragic event shaped his path to now. we see the pain he has fought through these years. His humanity which peeks out from behind his wolf self.

But dont worry, our usual and favourite Dracones family are here aswell as some new members (doesnt our tribe grow?) joining so even when you are captivated by Soroyans tale, theres no dragon 'fomo' lol.

Cant recommend this series highly enough.

Dracones Rogue is sooo good!! Absolutely love Soroyan! As for the new character? love love loves her!! Out of all the characters, Raven is my favorite. She even gives Genna a run for her money in the powers dept. Once again the story gets deeper and completely sucked me into their world. Fast paced action through out made it so hard to put down! I'm truly reading this over because my brain is stuck with them lol. If i wasn't reading i was thinking about it. I don't really remember my dreams but I'm sure they popped up there too! An amazing read, well written with all the components that a pnr reader needs and loves, per Sheri-Lynns incredible stories as usual!!

Dracones Rogue (Volume 5) by Sheri-Lynn Marean

This was Epic....I Loved it... 5 Stars
So so good, a truly unique and imaginative book. I've been waiting for Soroyan's story..Yes

Such a cast of characters, each one different in so many ways. Their special gifts and animal body is so diverse. All are very strong willed.

The author weaves each character into one of most amazing stories to get lost in. It's like a rollercoaster, ups and downs and turnarounds.

It was great to read about Thierney, Jax, Sami, and the rest of the gang of misfits.
I can't wait for more.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of the book by its author.

I am so absolutely pleased with this series. It has provided hour after hour of pure entertainment!

I am volunteering to leave a review of this ARC book. This is Soroyan's story. I think I am most in love with Soroyan, though Jax is a close second. I so enjoyed his and Raven's struggle to determine whether they could risk their hearts once again. This one is a nail biter; keeping you in suspense until the very end. The intensity of these two characters was wonderful. Their passion for fairness; their caring for the less than fortunate. I am so absolutely pleased with this series. It has provided hour after hour of pure entertainment!

**** Partial Spoilers Ahead****

I don't know where to start to be honest.

This book was much looked forward to by me. I wanted to know the story behind our big bad wolf... but i was confused and worried for his feelings for Tierney. I was wondering if it would work out for them to have him as a mate but didn't see how with Jax being as dominate as he is. But in the end it wasn't actually her he was attracted to. Just a pre-cursor if you will ;).

This book had me up until 4am not one night but two nights in a row. I could not put it down and while i found i wanted to rush through the book, i had to move slow to savor every bit of it. You don't find that in many books these days.

As I've said before, Sheri- Lynn is a cut above the rest and i think she proves it even more so in this recent installment. I never want this series to end and i dread the day it does. Until the next book, i will wait with bated breath. Thanks for the fantastic read!

I loved this book. It pulls you into the world and leaves you unable to put it down until you finish it. Like the other books in the series it gives you the backstory of one or more of the characters (the main ones in the book), but then goes on to extend the story from the earlier books. I love this format as it lets you meet and fall in love with new characters and/or learn more about characters that had smaller roles in the previous books. But also lets you revisit old favorites and see what happened to them after their book ended.

The latest in the Dracones series is Soroyan's story. I enjoyed reading his story, while heartbreaking, it emphasizes the character he has become today. Tragic and even after seeking vengeance, Soroyan still does not feel whole. Trying to locate his nephew, he finds himself in quite the predicament...on several levels. One such predicament is Raven. After being alone for so long, will Soroyan settle down and let those around him in? Full of emotions, with plenty of twists. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of Dracones Rogue.

This is my favorite character and the best book in the series. But I seem to say that every time a new book in this riveting series is published. Seriously, I love the big tough bad guys and Soroyan is the top dog... euh wolf. I read the book in one day, just couldn't put it down.
The story is getting deeper and more interesting with every book. I love the depth of the characters, though I'll have to start keeping note of who is who, there are so many new interesting characters and links between them. Can't wait to read the next one.

This is book five, but the action just keeps ramping up. The war has taken a toll, missing family, death of friends and allies and love lost or put on hold. This is the story of second chances at love and the search for loved ones.
I love the action that happens that keeps you turning page after page. Small cliffhangers that demand you have the time to keep reading at all costs.
I cannot wait to continue the saga as I have to know....... perfectly written to enjoy and leaves you begging for the next book as soon as possible.

After reading volume 4 in this series, Dracones Thaniel, I would never have read this one. Thaniel was just that terrible. But I had already shelled out my ninety-nine cents and so I thought, "why not."

This book is about one of the more interesting characters in the series, Soroyan, a very troubled wolf. It is better written than Thaniel, which is barely a compliment as this author really needs to work on her plot development and characterization. It is obvious she has no overall idea of where her series is going. She has not planned it.

So I don't plan to read anything else by her.

Sheri-Lynn Marean just gets better and better. Book 5 in the Dracones series, this one is by far the best.

Soroyan, wolf shifter, with a dark heart that belongs only to his dead wife, and Raven, angel, warrior or she devil. Their passion and intensity for each other is hard to deny.

Although each book in the series can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading each one in order so that you can get the full impact of the story.

I received an ARC of Dracones Rogue and this is my honest review.
