The escort agency is back in business—and this time, Zach Collins is in charge. Scandal destroyed his last agency, and he’s worked too hard to have everything ripped away from him—especially by his best friend, Jagger Holiday. Trust doesn’t come easily to Zach, so he knows how important it is to his clients. When a fiery redhead named Shannon turns Jagger’s new art gallery around, Zach is desperate for her help. He can give a woman anything she wants, but he’s got no idea how to run a business. Except Shannon’s not interested in his money. He’s got much more to give her than that. Zach’s never fallen for a client before, but for the agency to succeed, he’s willing to break all his rules.
The Passion Project is a standalone story in The Escort Series.
Kristen Strassel is far cooler than she’ll make herself sound in this bio. She enjoys spending time with the voices in her head—nudging the characters toward those bad decisions and a happily ever after. When she’s not writing, she’s often still in the land of make-believe—doing makeup for film and television. And when she’s not doing any of that, she enjoys making her house look like a Pinterest board, watching football, and road trips to the middle of nowhere.
Hi, it’s not a full review (hopefully my phone doesn’t crash. Mistakes ought to be made, I’m on a browser on my phone. This is weird) this will be short.
It was a sweet story, even tho the plot was a bit all over the place for me. Had to read between the lines at one point cause was impossible to figure out if I was reading a text message or thoughts. Bye anyway, when these two, Shannon and Zach get together to build a business to attract a very selective clientele, and a blog post hitting success on the side, both will have to manage how to communicate in a way that can save their hot fling wanting to turn into hot relationship. The last couple of pages made me smile and cry. It was sweet and difficult to put it down (although headaches turned migraine, did the trick on making this last a while longer than necessary)!
This is the fourth book and I’m interested in seeing what I missed, but it will take me a while to revisit. I have far too many freebies to go through, but hopefully I won’t forget this.
Zack needed Shannon's expertise and Shannon needed Zack's skills. Why not agree on a deal to trade services? Such a simple solution becomes so extremely complicated when feelings are included. I thoroughly enjoyed Zack and Shannon getting to know each and watching them navigate their unexpected attraction. Very Entertaining Read!!!!
I am a huge fan of this series and was super excited to hear that she was continuing it with Zach and Shannon's book. And I loved The Passion Project as much as I loved the first three. The chemistry between Zach and Shannon is hot - you could feel the sparks flying off the pages. And Ms. Strassel is phenomenal at engaging both your heart and your mind.
This was... annoying. It was referencing the other books in the series so half the time I didn't know what was going on, it seemed weird that the woman didn't think that the man wouldn't read the articles she was writing and be offended, and also, as a designer, we are not magic, so it takes more than just a new website to turn around a business... sigh.
