He's an NFL all-star and a single dad. She's his daughter's nanny. Their attraction is too powerful to ignore.
Blindsided is a standalone sweet sports romance. No cliffhangers.
When NFL running back and single dad Hank Parson meets Mari, his daughter's nanny, he's smitten. Too bad his movie star ex-wife can yank Mari out of his life on a whim.
Mari adores four-year-old Harper, but when Harper's mother sends them to stay with Hank while she finishes her movie shoot, Mari doesn't know what to expect.
It doesn't take long for sparks to fly. Too bad acting on their attraction will ignite a firestorm.

I would have liked this so much better if it hadn't felt so repetitious! I felt like we kept going over and over the same things. I really want to know what happens next! Does Mari get to see Harper again? Does London cause custody problems? There were more chapters to write!
I did not like this at all. It is a lust story more than a love story. All they think about is how hot the other person is. They seemed shallow. Skip this one.
This sweet love story, heavily ambushed by a bad dose of jealousy and manipulation, touches the heart as divorce is never pretty and when there is a child involved, the effects continue down the years. Harper is a cute little girl and despite being shuffled between her actress mother and footballer father, she retains her sweet personality. Hank's love life is careful, mainly because of his past marriage history and the little girl he adores. When London decides at the last minute that it's Hank's responsibility to take care of Harper while she jaunts off for a film shoot, she sends the nanny along. Immediately Mari and Hank meet the sparks fly and despite both of them tamping down their feelings, because after all she is the nanny, their feelings take hold and there was no putting them back in the box once they were out. All hell breaks loose when London finds out about the attraction between Mari and Hank, and despite having no claim on Hank, she does everything she can to destroy the budding relationship, leaving both Hank and Mari miserable and broken. As a non-American I found the insights into American football interesting as it does not appear to be a sport played outside of the USA, although often forms part of the US film making industry. Blindsided is a clean sweet romance and can be read by young adults as well. Although it is part of a series and characters from the previous books appear in this one as well, it can be read as a standalone. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
This is a great book! With great romance! Mari is one of the best people. She is kind and good. Hank is an amazing dad and a great guy. They were attracted to each other from the moment they met. Like really attracted. It was great to watch that develop into something deeper. The way they each interacted with Harper had a lot to do with that. They are both so good with her! And Harper is absolutely adorable!
I really enjoyed the story. Even though I could guess what was coming, I didn’t know how it was going to play out. The ending was perfect and very sweet. I hope we get to see them in other books and find out how they’re doing.
I received a copy of the book, which I voluntarily reviewed. I have given my honest opinion.
BLINDSIDED by Christine Kersey Being the nanny for Harper, the 4 year daughter of Hank, an NFL player. She maybe tiny, young, still wasn't use to being interviewed by Hank. It was the mother who hired her, but she was gone on location.. Sparks flew, Harper's mother, London, accuses her of lying, and being involved with her ex, she fires her. If she had told the truth, would she have ? Interesting of the triangle of love, and Christine did a good job, of unfolding the plot. With a cute 4 year, at the center. Enjoyable for all readers, Christine books are always a delight to read. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
4 stars I purchased Blindsided by Christine Kersey November 2, 2017 and this review was given freely. This is the third in the Fair Catch football based attraction/love at first glance sweet romances. Running back and single dad Hank Parson's life becomes complicated when his daughter and her new nanny the artist Mari come to stay 4 days prior to the start of the new NFL season. An injury, a vindictive girlfriend, a vindictive spouse, and a sweet but rocky romance make this an interesting read.
This is a sweet story with the nanny and NFL single father. But the story felt rushed and whirlwind romance. Mari and Hank were confessing love for each other after such a short time. I liked that the father seemed to really love his daughter. The mother seemed so cold and distant. Will he sue for joint custody? Sole custody, after he remarries? I didn’t learn much about the mother, but she seemed to want to use Harper to hurt the ex husband.

While this is Book 3 in the Fair Catch series it can be read as a standalone. This book is a wonderful romance story. The characters come alive and their interaction (a nanny, a delightful 4 year old and her father) and the ex-wife and father's girlfriend will have you turning the pages quickly to reach the end of the story. Another great book by the Author.
This is book three of a series but not continue so can read in any order. I loved the character of Marigold so much, she is Harper's nanny. A really, really good nanny. She was so good with Harper. I don't want to give away any of the story. I definitely recommend this book. I received an advanced copy of the book for my honest opinion.
Nanny an football player instant attraction as they meet for the first time .
Two parents share custody of their little 4 year old girl . One an actress an the other a football player. Their little girl gets to spend time with her daddy due to a movie shoot going on overseas with her mother her daughter is accompanied by her new nanny .
Mari has working with London for a while and they were about to go to the daughter's daddy house. She was warned to stay away and at first she did but as time went on Cole and mari's feelings became more intense. But when the ex found out she made everything living hell.
Really well done. You pulled emotions from me from irritation with the "girlfriend" to "hating" the little girls mother. I love the sweet romance and her going back to see him. Sorry that was probably a spoiler. I enjoyed this third installment, well done.

I loved this story too. I hope that in the end we find out all that happens with all the characters. Tell me Harper goes to live with her daddy. Tell me what happens. Can t wait for the next book.
A cute storyline of nanny and the football player. Adding adorable child and crazy ex wife. Stir together for an enjoyable story. I like the results. It was a quick read with good characters.
You know that I'm a sucker for happily-ever-after stuff and, of course, this fit the bill. However I want to know the after effects of all the lies for the characters.
This was a great romance. Even though it is a clean romance, the sparks were flying. The chemistry between these two was great, and I loved the little girl.
This is an amazing story of how true love conquer anything if you have faith in that love this is a story that will make you believe in true love again.
Blindsided by Christine Kersey is Book 3 in the Fair Catch series. It is a wonderful book! I loved it, & really enjoyed reading this sweet & touching story. You will fall in love with Mari, Hank, & Harper. Harper, & her nanny, Mari were to stay with her father for a couple weeks, while her mother was out of the country. What Mari & Hank did not expect, was their attraction was undeniable. Add a manipulative ex wife into the mix, life sometimes doesn't always work out. Can Mari & Hank have a future? A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE!!
