A good read but the ending was a bit too blasé. It really didn't answer the real question "Why". A new wedding and a new murder. However she had been prepared (more or less) for this. Someone was masterminding the schemes. Yes she had found the killer each time but she was sure that there was someone working in the background. Can she find out who the latest killer is? Will this lead her to the hidden mastermind?
Kate and her sister Lucie run a cup cake bakery. They also are known for helping the police solve some murders. While this is a short story, it hits all the needed points in a mystery murder. I liked it very much.
It is always sad to read the last of a well loved series. Will miss Kate and her Bakery. All questions are answered in this finale. Well done C.T. Mitchell. Look forward to the next series, whatever it maybe.
That Serena was sick and dangerous and out to hurt Kate and Lucie. I do like Lachlan. I hope in a future book he and Kate get together. I've enjoyed all your stories so far. Thank you.
