Delilah makes her living as a thief and getaway driver, but even she has a code. She has four rules. One: Know your exits. Two: Always get paid. Three: No friends. Four: No drugs.
Then an old acquaintance comes asking for her help on a job, putting Delilah neck deep in a simple job gone horribly sideways. Facing down Russian criminals, crooked nuns, and dirty cops, Delilah quickly learns that even her rules were made to be broken.
This is the second book in the Delilah Thriller series.
There is a lot of action in this book, much of it pretty impossible, but that is why the authors write it-to keep us on the edge of our seats. There are quite a few gruesome killings, some car chases with and / or without police, and other assorted acts or desperation and mayhem. I liked the ending, which occurred quickly. Too many books make the ending last forever. I loved how the divorced cop got taken in twice by our femme fatale too. It's a pretty good read
