Meet The Slate Brothers. Each One A Football Star. Each One Sexy, Rough And Completely Untamed. A standalone romance with a guaranteed HEA I can’t believe I want to f**k a football star. I’m so not that girl. I’ve always been a nerdy loner, my head in a book. And that’s how I prefer it… But Tyson Slate is different, and for some reason he keeps teasing me, toying with me, touching me and making me melt. I try to resist him but he’s so undeniably sexy, with muscles that I want to run my fingers over and gray-blue eyes. I try to pretend to be calm when Tyson is near, not wanting him to see how he’s flustered me with his words and his looks and that hard stare. I can’t understand why he seems to want me, out of all the hot girls lining up to be with him. But maybe it’s because I’m different, because I don’t come from his world. Maybe that’s why he can be himself around me, let his walls down for just a little while, and then…touch me. God, the way he touches me. The way he looks at me. I’m falling for him and he’s only going to trample my heart. But Tyson Slate always gets exactly what he wants. And he wants me. Hard. Deep. Stripped of my defenses. And he won’t stop until he gets it…

4.5 Stripped stars 🌟

Not as controversial as the first two books, which made for a less intense story but no less intriguing! Tyson is the final brother to meet his match in Anna. Anna is with her bestie while she auditions for the cheerleading team when a bunch of football players behind her make disparaging remarks about the girls auditioning. Anna having enough of the negativity turns around and gives it to them straight! When it appears the guy on the end with the intense eyes focuses all his attention on her, the world around her disappears. It’s only later when her bestie is a part of the cheerleading team that they meet again properly and their worlds change as they know it! The murder trial of Tyson’s dad still takes place in the background and how it affects his life and his actions.

A good ending and a definite must read series!

Very ok. I had a huge issue with Tyson and how he handled his relationship with Anna and an even bigger issue with how Anna let him treat her.

Hmmmm. Tyson was the most difficult of the brothers to like. I had an issue with Anna being so strong yet she allowed him to treat her like a "hookup". I get the whole control thing but it was too much of the secrecy surrounding them that was bothersome. Disappointed with the series... usually when an author writes about siblings they are in all the books at least as an aside even if they're standalone books. I think the series could have been so much better if they'd be at least mentioned a time or two. Overall disappointed with the series

Loved the Slate brothers series

I liked how each brother was able to find someone that loved them for themselves and not for what football and it’s fame that comes with it. Each brother seeming to find a woman that was similar to their mom, short and petite. Each of the brothers was affected by their dads arrest and pending murder trial, which led them to change how they lived their everyday life. They were able separate what their fathers travesties brought to their lives and move forward to love happy somewhat normal lives.

There were times I loved this book and times it just annoyed me. I really wanted to love Tyson, but the way he kept talking to Anna and in my opinion demeaning her, left a bad taste in my mouth. Then there were times I loved him. I wish we would've seen more of that Tyson. But I did like the book and read it in a day. It was a good conclusion to the series and I loved the epilogue although I wish it was a little more. All in all a must read if you've read the series.

What a total let down. I read the series hoping to find out if the dad actually committed the murder... and there was just a vague small explanation about it. Pfft. Lame.

The H/h and their story were again, unmemorable. Nothing new here.

Explosive sex scenes.

This story made me uneasy. I really wasn't sure where it was going. I couldn't put it down, until I knew what was going on. I feel the ending was rushed and I would have appreciated a more detailed and informative conclusion. Very SEXY.

No big drama

A little bit of a let down. I hoping for a big build up to the guy's farther drama. Still a good story. It seem all three books had the same formula at the end. Except the last book.

I read book 1-3 and hope this book will solve about the so-called main point of this series but it is not, very disappointed that the writer drop the H's father story like it's not matter AT ALL.
