Informative

I have been practicing another form of intermittent fasting but have been curious about the 5:2 method. I had seen bits and pieces and comments on Facebook but this book filled in the blanks and answered my questions. There are some recipes included but they were not new and exciting so I felt like they were included as filler. This book was short and to the point so it doesn't take long to read. Overall I am glad I did read it and may consider 5:2 for a while to shake things up.

I disagree with some of his recommendations, liking chewing gum when you’re fasting (will release insulin, which you don’t want)
I don’t care for the recipes. They are too heavy for my tastes, and provide too many servings for my household.
