So I got this free on Amazon, starting reading it in my dorm room, paused for some reason, and just decided to finish it today to have one less book unread on my Kindle.
If you're looking for erotica with BDSM, look no further. You've found your book. If you're looking for a good romance or love story, look the other way.
Sofia Mason accidentally stumbles into a room at the Haven Ball, where she's mistaken as the sub sent by Noah Thorne, a rich dom.
For someone who was 36 and had been with 6 other men in the past including her husband, I felt it odd that 1) she never had anyone go down on her before and 2) she had never tasted cum before. These two details took me out of the story.
I'll probably forget that I read this pretty soon tbh

The Arrangement is a series of fairly well-written scenes patched together in a 79 page, 13 chapter "book". The scenes are explicit and some are a fresh take on the BDSM sub-genre. The scenes aren't far fetched and do not require a complete suspension of belief to make them work. I like the scenes for the most part - I just wish there was a story to go with them.
This book is more like reading a series of mail-in letters in a Playboy, where people write a few paragraphs about something that supposedly happened to them. There's no plot and no ending. At the 90% mark, there is a sneak peek at Part II of the story. The irony is that at the end of Chapter 6 and Chapter 13 the words "End of Part I" appear with a link to presumably purchase the next book. I'm not sure if this is an editing problem or if the author was originally going to publish a 6 chapter book and ran into a page limit issue. The entire thing reads like the author had a story concept but is releasing it in small chunks rather than as a single book.
The characters are ok. They aren't quite 2 dimensional, but they aren't developed enough to be 3-dimensional either. Sophia struggles with balancing her job and newfound desire to be submissive. Noah is a bored, rich guy that just barely avoids the stereotype of a bored, rich guy.

Sophia is supposed to be a senior partner in a law firm, but she does whatever Noah tells her - even when they first meet and he mistakes her for a submissive his brother was supposed to be sending him to play with. A no time do we, the reader, get to see her be confident, self-assured or do anything that would make us think she is anything other than a submissive. She doesn't even argue back when Noah requires that she drop everything - no matter what - when he calls. This arrangement wouldn't work if she really had the job we are told she does. She also signs the D/s contract without reading it because ... she was busy. She's a bloody lawyer and decided to sign something without reading it???
Noah has several issues as a Dom. He assumes that Sophia is the woman his brother sent to play with him. This implies that his brother often sends him woman and that he routinely doesn't negotiate with them or find out anything about them. This is not a good practice in any relationship - let alone a BDSM one. Noah doesn't verify Sophia is the person who was supposed to be in the room and he has no conversation with her about limits or abilities. He did keep the play light for the most part so that's something. However, in the next section (after the end of Part I in chapter 6) Noah again doesn't go over any negotiations with Sophia before accepting her as his submissive and playing with her. He is aware enough to know she is new to the BDSM scene but makes no effort to explain things to her.
We have no idea what happens after the second encounter because Part I ends (again) after the second sex scene.

Okay sooo I’m not even gonna lie… this book had me hooked like right away 😭🔥 The storyline is giving messy, secretive, and a little toxic but in the way you can’t stop reading. Like it’s definitely one of those “one more chapter” books. The characters be doing the MOST, but that’s what makes it interesting.
Only reason it’s not a full 5 stars is because it ended kinda fast and had me like “wait that’s it???” 😩 But overall it’s good, it’s juicy, and it’s worth the read if you like drama, tension, and plot twists.

Sofia's recently divorced but threw herself into work instead of getting back on the horse an trying again. Her friend takes her to a party that is so far out of her comfort zone she's not sure why she's there.
While wandering the halls she enters a room she won't be walking out of without having her eyes opened to an entirely different lifestyle than she's used to.
She walks out with a decision to make.
She has 5 days.

Was a quick read
I feel as though the story was sort of rushed with very limited details of how she became the badass she is. It was okay read if you want something short and spicy. But it could have been longer for sure. But Erotica and BDSM check. But when the spice hits it's🔥🔥. Definitely made it less believable that she had been with 6 men before with no experience outside of missionary.

Interesting beginning
I have enjoyed reading the first book of what I am sure will be a interesting series of books. Sofia goes to a party, and finds herself in a room where she is mistaken for someone else. But she also finds that she likes the things she is asked to do there. Looking forward to the next book.

Shaping up to be a fun series, Sofia is a senior partner who’s husband cheated and divorced her. She is used to being in control and doesn’t know how to let go. Ending up in the wrong room at a party ends up being the introduction to the time of her life with her new Dominant. Sofia accepts his offer and discovers pleasure she hadn’t known existed and it’s only the beginning.

The book didn’t really focus anything on the characters or their life, just the sex scenes between the two main characters. A very short book that ended in the middle of a sex scene, maybe just to make people buy the second book?

This was a very good and quick spicy story. This is less than 100 pages and is about a dominant and submissive relationship beginning. I will be reading the second book soon. If you want a quick and spicy read, definitely recommend this!

I wanted to read a quick, dark and mysterious romance and this book served the purpose perfectly.
The protagonist Sofia is a well-respected lawyer and partner at a famous firm around. Since her divorce, she hasn't been around much and has thrown herself into her work. She is completely in control of every aspect of her life. When her friend takes her to a fetish gala, her life changes overnight. Noah is smitten by her in their first encounter and cannot wait to get more.
This 80 page read made me gasp and scream at some of the scenes. Loved the chemistry between Noah and Sofia. The character of Sofia was so well portrayed. Noah was the dark and mysterious protagonist I didn't know I needed. Overall a great quick read!
