Spectral Ops is my first book that I read by C. E. Martin, but it won't be my last. This book has given me a taste of this author and I really liked it, made me an instant fan! It is well written and fast paced, but for this book it works! You are thrown into the action from the very first page, and barely come up to breath for air. This book was impossible for me to put down and I read it in one sitting pretty much. The plot is captivating and follows an unique group of supernatural soldiers to deal with the paranormal. Fight fire with fire, makes sense to me.

There are some interesting characters in this group like Kenslir, Laura and Josie, comprising of psychics, vampires, werewolves and other creatures, which makes this quite the cast. I have to admit my favorite is Josie though and I can't wait to read more about her, since she seems to be the most versatile of the group! Although Laura is also very interesting and Victor is a character you don't read about much really!

As I said, I am hooked. This book is right down my alley with a TON of paranormal material, lots of action all over the place and it is well written. After reading this I find this author has lots of other material written so I can start reading some of that before he hopefully releases more of this series soon!

I have received this book from the author for an honest review. (LoP, Lovers of Paranormal)

This book takes the characters of the stone soldiers little farther down where they have developed powers and are actual team. While Good and action packed it would be helpful to have read previous books and better understand the relationship between the team members.
