Wow! This book packs a whole lot of SEXY. Knox is a delicious mix of dirty, protective, strong alpha but he leaves room for Olivia to find herself. I like that he is not all good and not all bad. His flaws make him more of a draw to me. I liked how Olivia's internal conflict played out. It showed more dimensions to her character.

The story is very insta lust. The plot is good but gets resolved too easily and we are told rather than shown. Other than that, when I tell you this is sexy, I mean it is SCORCHING. Very much enjoyed it.

Olivia is a simple girl who has found herself with a complicated problem - her father owes money to the mob and they intend to ransom her to get their money back. Olivia was a naive 20-year-old woman who seemed unaware of the world around her, outside of waitressing and her online degree program. Knox was unlike anyone she had ever met before and after getting over the fact that he took her, she couldn’t help being drawn to him. Knox was a 29-year-old man who had been honorably discharged from the military for six months and was a bit disillusioned and jaded about life in general. That is until he sees Liv. Suddenly he has a new purpose: to keep her safe and to make her his.

I absolutely loved Knox. Not to say I didn’t adore Liv, because I did, but Knox definitely stole the show. Really, I can’t resist a hot, alpha, dominant, dirty talking, capable, badass SEAL. Can you?

Holy crap this book has blown me away, I love all of Callie's books but I think this is my favourite yet and definitely the hottest (like fire down below hot!) I didn't want it to end.
This book has anger, violence, lust, passion, love and hot dominant orgasmic sex scenes.

Knox is a BAMF with a heart of gold, he's protected his country and now he's ready to live a quiet life in the middle of nowhere. Until his final job and Olivia becomes his main priority to protect, but that's not all he wants to do to her. She's sexy as sin and makes him a walking hard-on with all the thoughts of what he wants to do with her body. But he wants her to give in and fully submit to him. He wants her begging.

Olivia studies, works and leads a boring life, until she's taken in the night, but not by the people who attacked her. Her captor is hot as hell and sets her panties on fire, and has her dripping wet just from thinking about him, but it's so wrong to feel like this when she's basically his prisoner. But she can't resist him, he's do strong, sexy and dominating. She needs him to protect her. She craves him like she needs air.

Will Olivia freely give not just her body but her heart to Knox?
Will there be a time where they can live life free of danger?
Will they have an HEA together? or going solo?

First of all: I really like Callie's writing style. It's light, fresh and funny. For some this book might be a HOT highlight. But I need a little more than hot sex scenes. I need story development as well as character development, I need chemistry...

If you are up to a light read with hot sex scenes and you are into submission, you should definitely give it a go!

But IMO this book is 90% all about sex, submission (which felt mostly forced), a broken alpha-male and even there I couldn't feel any connection between the main characters. No chemistry, no attraction. And the remaining 10% were story, which was pretty flat to me.

I really wanted to like this book so much. Honestly, I had to skim through the book after 40% because I don't dnf books, mostly to give it a chance changing my mind. Sadly this didn't happen.

Before I start the review for Taken by the SEAL, I have to comment on Callie Harper's covers! They are so hot, it's worth buying the book just for the eye candy. But then you open her books, and the grab you from start to finish, and then you have that moment at the end of a book where you keep trying to flip the page (if you are reading an ebook), just hoping that by some miracle you get another page or two, and then it hits you that the bonus chapter will be available soon.

Taken by the SEAL, appealed to me on a so many levels, I personally would love a cabin in the woods with a Knox to hunt and provide. And the after dinner treats he will come up with, what an added bonus!

I have read every single Callie Harper book, loved them all. Taken by the SEAL was everything that I expected when I open a Callie Harper book, and then some. Just confirmation why she is a one click author. Her books just takes you on a journey.

Taken By the Seal is an enjoyable read but it didn’t WOW me. I thought this storyline had such great potential when I read the blurb, but something just fell flat for me.

What I was kind of expecting when I decided to read this book, was that it was going to be like a romantic suspense type story, but it really isn’t. The part of the story that takes place around 70 - 80% mark is what I thought would happen throughout the whole book.

I loved that the story starts out right away on the first page. We are delved into Olivia’s life and trouble right away and that sucked me in. It kept my attention throughout most of the story, but there were parts that I felt were too slow. We got a lot of inner monologue in this book and to me that slows down the pace of the story. I also felt that the storyline focused a little too much on sex. Either the act of sex or the sexual tension between Knox and Olivia. I think some of that could’ve been left out and more of the suspense aspect could’ve been brought in.

In this book we follow Knox and Olivia. Olivia is an innocent girl who is just trying to make it on her own. She comes from a not so great upbringing. Her mom moved her around a lot as a kid and her dad was nonexistent. So Olivia decides to start roots in Chicago. Little did she know that her life was about to change!!! Knox is an ex-Navy SEAL. Trained in many things. Knox saw a lot of things during his enlistment and has decided the best course of life is for him to be secluded by himself. So he came to Chicago after leaving the Navy to check on his little sister and take a few jobs to get him ready to escape into his own world. Little did he know that his life was about to change when he saw Olivia.

Knox is truly an Alpha Male. At times I didn’t see him as a good fit for Olivia. Maybe it was because she was a little too innocent. I just wish we could’ve seen more of his sweeter side, I think the connection would’ve been stronger for me then.

I know this review sounds like I really didn’t enjoy this book, but I did. It just isn’t my favorite of this authors. Just because this wasn’t a 5 star read for me, don’t let my thoughts and feelings sway you away from reading this book. I think many will love this book!!

Knox is now out of the military but he still practices what he knows as he was an excellent SEAL. He is working for some not so good people. Once night he is watching for two thugs and is there if they need him. When he realizes they are kidnapping Olivia a young lady, Knox steps in.

She it out cold and Knox takes her up to his cabin to keep her safe. He had no intention of falling for her and Olivia is mad and attracted to him when she comes to. She doesn't know what to do but knows he is hot.

The writing is good and there are some hot sex scenes. There is kidnapping, violence etc but not a bad read overall.

Olivia is an innocent girl who is trying to make a better life for herself. She did not know her dad growing up and her mom was busy going out. Olivia learned how to take care of herself at a young age. After moving around with her mom a lot throughout her life she decides to stay in Chicago, were she meets her dad, to finish school and make a life for herself. Knox is a trained Seal. He grew up in a happy one until his mom passed away causing his dad to retreat into himself. Knox has to step up to take care of not only himself, but his little sister. Knox enlisted straight out of high school. After completing tours were he saw to much pain in death, Know decides to retire. He goes to Chicago to check on his sister and take on a few jobs for a local Mob to help him earn the cash he will need to make his great escape into seclusion.

This book was hard for me to get into. If I did not volunteer to write a review for this book it would have probably landed on my DNF list or at least o my finish way later list. I like to give books the benefit of a doubt and stick to the end with hopes things will get better. The best part of this book for me was probably the epilogue. Anyone who knows me knows giving bad reviews is not something I like to do. So I will not just give negatives about this book, but positives as well.

Knox is definitely and alpha male. He exudes strength and control from the moment he appears in the book. He was probably my favorite character even with his faults. Knox felt an instant attraction to Olivia and wanted no needed to protect her instantly, even knowing it would affect his great escape plan. This hardcore seal who has killed many and has also watched many died saw this innocent girl and felt that she was her light at the end of a dark tunnel. He went out of his way to make Olivia feel confident and safe. He was a silent brooding type, but something in Olivia brought out his gentler side. The only thing that was a negative with me for Knox was his aggressiveness. I love an Alpha male who takes control and makes you realize things about yourself. In some instances with Knox it felt like he was more forceful than aggressive.

Sweet innocent Olivia was a little naive. Even though she practically raised herself and was exposed to a lot at a young age, it did not make her shall I say street smart. She sensed danger yet still walked straight into it. She did step up a lot through the book. Taking care of Knox when he needed and standing up for herself. As a whole the book was not bad. There was just something missing. I do not feel like there was actually chemistry. Many times I wondered if they would have gotten together if they were not stuck in alone for so long. The book had romance, sex scenes with soft bdsm, and a little action yet still felt boring to me.

No one does sexy quite like Callie Harper, and Taken by the SEAL is a perfect example.



Knox is a former Navy SEAL now working for the mafia, doing a few jobs to tide him over enough so that he can go live off the grid for awhile, long enough for him to get the demons out of his mind that are left over from his time overseas. As he's doing his job, he sees the men he's supposed to be on the lookout for, grabbing the innocent young woman he'd just noticed earlier as she stepped out the back of the skanky restaurant they were hunkering down behind. His caveman, alpha SEAL tendencies started roaring and he knocked the guys out, grabbed the now knocked out girl, and ran to his cabin.



When Olivia wakes up in Knox's cabin, of course she's freaked out, and she tries to run. But, Knox is a big, bad alpha and he's not about to allow her to run when she's a) not safe yet from the men who tried to kidnap her and b) she has nowhere to run. So he keeps her captive in his cabin and tries to keep his hands off her and her curves. Once he finds out that she really is innocent, as in she's still a virgin, innocent, he decides he'll wait until she's begging him before he takes her and dominates her.

But, it's not all fun and pleasure and domination and submission, because Knox still has to deal with the men who tried to kidnap Olivia, and has to figure out how to get them off her (and his) back. Knox and Liv go through a lot in Taken by the SEAL, and their connection grows stronger as the days pass. She learns a lot about herself, sheds some of her naivete, and finds herself surprisingly into Knox's brand of intense dominance. There's a little bit of suspense, a little bit of violence, and a whole lotta sexy times. And the ending is surprisingly sweet, a sweet bonus to this intense, sexy ride. If you have liked all of Callie's previous hot, alpha males and sweet, sassy heroines, you'll love Taken by the SEAL It's all the sexy Callie's known for, with a hot, alpha SEAL and an innocent, naive heroine.

This book is so outrageously sexy good!! Callie Harper has written a fresh, funny, and HOT romance story that you cannot get enough of.
This is the story of Olivia, an innocent young woman and Knox, a retired SEAL who is now working as an independent , working for the bad guys aka the mob. The story starts when Olivia is supposed to be kidnapped and Knox puts himself out there and instead of helping the bad guys take her, he kidnaps Olivia instead to save her life and takes her to his cabin in the woods to hide her while he tries to figure out what is going on.
It’s instalust/love for Knox and he knows Olivia is it for him. He is going to keep her, no matter what and woe to anyone who harms her, for he will end their lives. The cabin in the woods becomes a place where they both learn things about each other and find out things about one another. Knox finds his protective instincts come out in conjunction with his lustful feelings towards her. While Olivia finds herself turned on by his actions and words—loved how he dominated her which brought out submissive nature/side which she didn’t know she had. Soon the scenes were extremely hot and steamy. Meanwhile while their burgeoning love story is happening, there is the Mob that is searching for her. Can Knox keep her safe and protected from harm or will they take her from him? Also will Knox fully admit his feelings and will Olivia admit her true feelings? This is one rollercoaster of a ride and I loved every minute of it.

Knox, you and your Seal background, protection and softness can take me any day. He's leaving the SEAL life behind and doing some side work for money so he can live off the grid for awhile. Except as we all know life doesn't go according to plan. While watching for this side work, he sees Olivia and before she can be taken by some bad men, he intercepts. The reaction to Olivia when she wakes up is normal and it takes some time for her to know that he truly is not going to hurt her. She doesn't make it easy on him though. Being in a small cabin has these two battling not only surviving, but the intense feelings these two have for one another.
Olivia who tends to hide in quiet and does what it takes to live as much as a normal life she can coming from parents like she had. She never experienced her feelings that are coming out when it comes to Knox. He takes her so why is she having feelings for him? She thinks it Stockholm Syndrome, but she couldn't be more wrong, because he didn't take her, he took her to protect her. They always say watch out for those quiet girls, and Olivia is a perfect example. She may be a virgin, but she has a naughty side to her. Can he keep her safe and how long will they have to hide? While it would be nice to stay in the cabin with Knox, you still need the outside world to survive. Your heart will be pumping not only from a turn of events, but from the passion these two release. She is just lucky that Knox took her cause I could not imagine what she would have endured with those evil men. Taken by the Seal will keep you reading cause you will want to find out how and why she was taken, if she will ever live a normal life again and what happens between these two once she is free? You get many feels in this story- fear, desire, protectiveness and possession along with a desire for freedom. This holds true for both of them cause trying to escape the SEAL life is hard.

I do wish they'd give the ability for 1/2 stars. This is more along the lines of a 3.5 star read for me. I think there is a certain mindset to be in when reading the alpha takes a virgin genre. I think this fell along those lines as well. Don't get me wrong, this was a very hot or lusty read, but it lacked a lot of substance. But that's probably the point here. Knox is the ex Navy Seal turned watch-out guy for the mob trying to make enough to leave and hide away from society because of the things he was subjected to in war. Olivia is the shy, inexperienced girl, trying to lay low, and not be seen by anybody because when she was seen it was with negative attention. Knox and her work well together because they are both trying to hide from the world. In his little cabin in the woods, they can live their fantasy together. Knox can have his sweet submissive and Olivia can have the alpha man take her places nobody else has. They found their salvation in each other.

Wow! Callie Harper has done it again! Everytime I read her newest book I think that one ud her best. Time and again she tops my expectations.

Taken by the Seal is another favorite. The story is thrilling, sexy and HOT! Knox is the perfect silent alpha, and Olivia is the innocent blooming into a sexual creature.

If you like Callie’s other books, you will love this one.

First, let me say that I'm a huge fan of Callie Harper. I look forward to her books and the swoony alpha men that grace their pages. And while this book held much of the classic Callie heat in regard to the passionate scenes (I needed my own ice cubes to get through them), it lacked some of the depth that I'm used to.

Overall, I liked Knox and Olivia. Knox was everything to this story. He was strong, protective, loyal, and sweet. He struggled with his return to civilian life and the sense of normalcy that he so eagerly sought. Then Olivia walks into his life. This smart, strong, and beautiful, if not a little naive, woman. She was exactly what he needed to chase away his demons and help him find peace. At the same time, Knox gave Olivia everything that she was missing in her life - stability, protection, passion, and love.

In general, I needed more character development, meat to the storyline, and more of their road to happily ever after. The majority of the book was spent with them in the cabin fighting the draw they had to one another or having sex. I was hoping for more suspense surrounding the danger Olivia was in and where they were going after all was resolved. I'm thankful Callie included such a wonderful epilogue. At least we got to see where they ended up.

Hot and Sexy....just doesn't describe this book

HOLY WOW!!!!!! Callie Harper has done it once again. In TAKEN BY THE SEAL, she has let loose one HOT SEXY ex-SEAL who will melt any reader's heart. Tis is the story of Olivia, a young innocent twenty year old woman, and Knox, a retired SEAL who has taken himself off the grid and is now working for the bad guys. Things change when Knox rescues Olivia from a dire situation and takes her to his cabin in the woods.

This would have to be one of the hottest books that I have read by Ms Harper. The cabin in the woods becomes a learning place for both Knox and Olivia, his protecive instincts come out and also his lustful feelings towards Olivia. Olivia, who has always hidden herself behind baggy clothes, starts to come "alive" with the way Knox treats and sees her. His dominating nature brings out the submissive side of Olivia. The result being some extremely HOT, SCORCHING and STEAMY scenes that will take a while to forget. Together they are a volcano waiting to erupt, and when it does there is definitely no holding back!!!!

Behind the storyline of Knox and Olivia another one is hidden, that of Knox trying to keep Olivia safe and protected from the Mob that is seaching for her. When Olivia is found and captured once again, Knox must use all his SEAL know how to find and rescue her once again. Will he be too late or will he be able to find her and tell her just how he feels about her?

Another wonderful story from Ms Harper. She certainly knows how to get her reader's temperature boiling with some scorching scenes. A great read with a HEA. Definitely a recommended read.

Callie Harper brings us an exciting super-sexy new stand-alone with "Taken By the SEAL". The Hero, Knox, is an ex-SEAL who went into the military to be a hero. Unfortunately war isn't as clear-cut as the movies and now he's disillusioned by mankind. Knox's at a moral crossroads and he sees the line between good and bad as blurry. That's why he's working for a Chicago mafia family in a tangential manner. The Heroine, Olivia, is an innocent whose hobbies are baking and cooking. She's a virginal college student who hides from notice by wearing baggy clothing and no make-up. Both Olivia and Knox basically raised themselves as children in single parent households. Olivia's thrown into a intense situation and which stirs up foreign emotions. As usual Callie Harper brings out the sexual heat with white hot racy passages throughout. The characters are charming and the storyline is riveting.
"Taken By the SEAL" is thrilling, touching, and titillating. Both Knox and Olivia have deep backstories involving their lack of parental warmth childhoods. Knox is a completely Alpha Hero tender and sentimental wrapped up in a Sexually Dominant cloak. Olivia is equally intriguing as Knox's absolute opposite. She's submissive, gentle, kind, and innocent. However her undiscovered tastes run to the kinky and Knox is thrilled to introduce her to his Sexual World. Olivia also sees the real Knox; a hard-worker who she trusts completely in a short amount of time. Once again if you like your Romance hotter than a thousand suns - read Callie Harper's books. You will not be disappointed.

Taken by the Seal has all my favourite tropes wrapped up into one. I was certain it wouldn’t disappoint and I was so very right. Suspense, romance, a virgin, and a hot military type alpha who loves secluded cabin living, taking care of his woman, and has a little love for the kink. Knox set my heart a flutter and let me escape into my memories of back-woods cabins and snowstorms. Callie’s words had me yearning for my winter gear and smelling home cooked stew on the wood-burning stove.

Knox, an ex-navy seal lets his instincts kick in when he suddenly finds himself kidnapping Olivia to protect her. Right from the start, a chemistry is simmering and he sets his sights on her. He wasn’t expecting to have to take it easy with her, to break her in, but he’ll do what he needs to in order to claim her for his very own.

Olivia is scared and inexperienced in love but her body recognizes a good thing when she sees it. Knox is chiselled and hard in all the right places, making her senses come to life. She doesn't second-guess herself for long, and when Knox shows he is interested, she's all in. She trust him explicitly once he proves himself and finds she likes a little kink herself. She's lucky to have such and amazing and talented teacher.

I thoroughly enjoy Callie’s writing and really enjoyed this story. There was a slow-burning romance that kept me hot and intrigued. I was a tad surprised that the story began with a darker premise and it didn’t go a deep into the suspense as I had expected and maybe would have liked, but it still hit all my targets when it comes to a fun, romantic read.

First let me say that this is the hottest book that Callie Harper has ever written. All of her books are hot but this book is off the charts HOT!!!! Taken by the Seal sizzles off the page!

Olivia and Knox are my favorite couple! I loved them. Knox is an ex Navy Seal. He is fierce, strong and all alpha male. Olivia has spent her entire life being self conscious, shy and trying to hide herself in the background. When Olivia is in danger, Knox jumps to her defense and vows to take care of her no matter what. Oh my, does he ever take care of her!!! The attraction and chemistry between Knox and Olivia is immediate and crazy good. While Olivia is skeptical and afraid at first, Knox takes his time with her. He treats her well and goes out of his way to prove he will cherish and protect her at any cost. Taken by the Seal is jam packed with suspense, wonderfully developed characters, love and a whole lot of wildly hot times.

I love that Callie Harper went outside the box for this amazing story. I found myself smiling and fanning myself throughout. I loved how sweet and caring this big tough Navy Seal was and I found Olivia to be sincere and extremely likable. I tried to savor every word but could not stop myself from reading quickly to find out what happened next.

Thank you Callie Harper for another five star story. In fact, five stars are not enough to say how much I loved this book!

I can't even tell you how I struggled writing this review....this is my 6th attempt, so bear with me! Whatever comes out, this is it!!!

Callie Harper is one of my go-to, auto-one-click authors for a reason...her writing is effortless, her character development is spot on, she can have you laughing-out-loud one minute, bawling your eyes out the next and in between, she'll have you fanning yourself from the intense love scenes that are oh-so-delicious!! Having said that, THIS IS THE HAWTEST, MOST EROTIC love story yet from Ms. Harper....and I LOVED every minute of it!!!

Knox is an ex-Navy Seal who wants to escape his memories of war the only way he knows how....he NEEDS to get off the grid and decompress. Just him, all alone, in a cabin in the middle of nowhere...he just needs a little more money socked away and he'll disappear! The journey to Knox and Olivia's HEA is filled with drama, suspense, uncertainty, some downright sexy-as-sin-burn-down-the-house love scenes and some soul-searing tenderness that had me devouring this INCREDIBLY well-written story that will stay with me for a long time to come! DEFINITELY a MUST READ from one of my favorite authors!

Knox is a retired Navy Seal. He’s world has always been somewhat bleak and dark.
It became more darker after his time in combat and the things he’s seen.
Leaving the military his plan is to make some fast money and life an quite life away from people.
He’s a lookout for a mob family. Making sure nothing goes wrong when they conduct their business.
Olivia is a struggling 20yr old. She not very close her mom. The once a week call only.
She’s even more disconnected with her dad. He was a never there type of father.
She now lives in Chicago,same as her dad. She has a waitressing job at a diner and takes online class to get her college degree. One class at a time.
When she gets caught in her dads wrong doing and the mob tries to snatch her,Knox’s conscious won’t let that happen.
Instead of making sure the job goes smoothly Knox gets in the way and takes Olivia and vows to protect her.
It’s instalust/love for Knox and he decides he’s keeping her not only safe from the mob but keeping her for himself.
Olivia knows Knox saved her from some terrible people but she’s wary off him.
As soon as Olivia starts trusting in Knox it’s fireworks and explosions!
He’s all dominant alpha protectiveness and she’s sweet innocent submissive.
They are electric together and the sex is scorching steaming sizzling hotness!

Taken by the SEAL is a quick, interesting read with a dominant alpha ex-SEAL and a heroine in distress. I read the book in one evening because I had to know what would happen next. The intimate scenes were hot, hot, hot!

Knox is an ex-SEAL who is taking some odd jobs with the mob in Chicago. He is strong, demanding, and everything you would expect of a SEAL. Olivia is a waitress and student; she is also the mob's next target, and although she appears at first to be a damsel in distress, Olivia is no shrinking violet. When Knox sees Olivia's innocence, he knows he has to act quickly. So he kidnaps her. Now they are hiding from the mob. Can Knox keep her safe? Is Olivia suffering Stockholm Syndrome? You'll have to read to find out!

I didn't like Knox at first. Some of his behavior just didn't seem likely for an ex-SEAL. Eventually, however, I came to like him. Olivia's characters seemed weak at first, but I was pleased to see her growing and toughening up. I did feel there were a couple of plot/timeline flaws, but they weren't enough to ruin my enjoyment of the book.

This was not my first book by Callie Harper. While I didn't find the writing to be as outstanding as previous books I've read, I still enjoyed the story. I definitely look forward to seeing what Callie Harper will be publishing next.

This was a good read; it was more romance than suspense. Knox was hired by the mob to be the backup if anything goes wrong on a job. While on the stakeout he gets a glimpse of Olivia and immediately wanted her but he didn’t know she was the person they were after.

Olivia is a 20 year old that has always been invisible. She was drop dead gorgeous and had no idea about it. She’s never had a boyfriend and is completely naive. All she wants is to get her degree and stay in the dark. One night she was almost kidnapped by two guys but rescued by a sexy man.

Knox was drawn immediately to Olivia and when he rescued her he made it his business to protect her with his life while at the same time falling for her. Olivia feelings were all over the place; she was scared but at the same time was starting to feel for Knox. She fought her attraction to him with so much intensity but at the end it was useless.

This story showed how a romance developed from a strange circumstance. There was a moment that was a bump in the road when the previous kidnappers found Olivia but she was prepared for them and was stronger.

Knox and Olivia got their HEA which was well deserved. I voluntarily accepted an advanced reader copy of this book.

Well hello cold showers!!!!! I think the title gives a little hint on what to expect and let me tell you, you won't be disappointed. When Olivia is putting the trash out after work, never in a million years did she think her life was about to be changed forever. She is taken and then wakes up in an isolated cabin with a stranger (I might add HOT AF) named Knox. Knox has seen more horror in one lifetime, then anyone should ever have to witness. He has taken Olivia and is trying to keep her hidden for everyone's safety and threats stopped, yet he can't deny the feelings that Olivia brings out in him that he thought he lost many years ago. The chemistry between these two are off the charts, Lava has nothing on Olivia and Knox!!!! But with conflicting feelings, questioning trust and danger lurking, Olivia and Knox must fight for each other and themselves.

Callie harper has true craftsmanship of writing, that pulls you in with her seductive and hypnotic words with every page turned. The characters are the perfect balance of innocence, strength and heart. I was immersed into a world of lust, want and love, I
loved every second of it. It was a hot and sexy story that you could really sink your teeth into ;)

Wow!!! Five stars of pure hotness! Seriously I can’t even describe as hot this book!
Callie Harper just know how to take you to your limits and leave you hanging there.
Knox character was and is a very unique one. I know we read romance and “adult” books and we love them but this book? I wanted to take a shower, not, let’s say a cold with ice in a tub, that kind of shower!
Taken by the SEAL was super steamy, hot, sensual, sexy and Oh so amazingly breathtaking.
Knox was a complete alpha man, a man in charge of his decisions and Olivia was one of them.
Deciding to make a final work before he goes to the woods and leave a life of tranquillity, Knox fail his mission and change his goal for the sexy woman with curves in front of him.
Olivia knew that something was bad, she knew that dangerous was in the other side of the door and after trying to be kidnapped by the mob she thought that her life was over, she didn’t see the ex SEAL coming to rescue her or to make her more damage.
Callie is known for doing the greatest alpha men in this book world! Get ready for Knox, get ready to be Taken by him ( oh and that shower)

**3.5 Alpha Stars**

I've read a good handful of books by Callie Harper, she's one of my favorite go to authors. I love her writing style, the intensity of her characters and the swoony, sexy alpha men she shares with us. Needless to say, Knox is no different in this romance of an ex-Navy Seal that finds himself running from the bad guys to protect a young, innocent woman named Olivia.

I admire Olivia and the life she's trying to make for herself. She doesn't have contact with her family and is on her own in the big city, dreaming of a better life. Little does she know that at the end of another routine night shift at work, her life is about to change and will never be the same.

Knox is not fazed by danger, but when Olivia becomes involved in a deadly situation he can't sit by and watch her be taken advantage of. Taking Olivia is not part of his plan, but his instinct to his remote cabin.

Taken against her will, Olivia doesn't know what to make of her captor and as time goes on she realizes that Knox is not the enemy. They're both confused on the feelings they have for one another; this situation is not ideal but come to rely on one another. I enjoyed Knox's protective nature, his continued desire to protect is sexy. Olivia is naive when it comes to men, so her lack of experience was a little trying at times. I enjoyed this story and the sex scenes were nothing short of hot and sexy, Callie does not disappoint when it comes to the love connection. Their relationship is sweet and heartwarming.

This was a good read for me, I look forward to seeing what other alpha men she has in store for us!

Whoa! This is my first book my this author and boy, does she know Alpha males! This book is hot, hot, HOT!

Olivia is a girl perfectly content to blend into the wallpaper of the world. Working as a waitress at a dead end job and attending night courses online, she lives a life that doesn't draw attention. Until one night when the sins of someone else entirely take over her life. Her boring, ordinary life has somehow gotten her kidnapped!

Knox is a former Navy SEAL who is disillusioned with life. He went from serving his country and seeing too much to being an enforcer for the mob. His moral compass is broken. Until he sees Olivia being abducted.

It doesn't take long before shy, virginal Olivia goes up in flames in his arms. It started out as a rescue mission but now that he's saved her from the mob, he's keeping her for himself.

This book was great. Great characters and a good storyline. Plus, Knox was scorching hot! Couldn't help being taken in by this SEAL!

Taken By The SEAL by Callie Harper is not your typical SEAL book. Our hero is not your typical book SEAL hero by any stretch of the imagination, and that alone is to be applauded. This was a fun, fresh take on a SEAL romance, and it was enjoyable from beginning until the last page.

Our heroine, Olivia, is a waitress, who barely manages to afford taking college classes online. Her father has a questionable job. Knox is an ex-Navy SEAL who works for a mob boss as a sniper. He is on a job one night when he sees Olivia get grabbed by two guys that he’s watching. He makes a decision to rescue her. In doing so, he has to hide her at a remote cabin. Now, there’s a target on both of their backs!

You’ll love this page turning read as much as I did if you are into bad, boy alphas, and sassy females who can hold their own but still surrender to their alpha’s seduction. Is it hot in here, or is it Knox?
