Wowwww! 7 years later and Wahida Clark is still on fire!!!!🔥🔥🔥 This was a well anticipated wait even the wait was too long and the flow of the story did change. Trae and Tasha are a real power couple!!! What I admire the most about Trae and Tasha is that out of all the couples in the series they have been through the most stuff and still stayed together. This couple is a living testament of the term for better or worse!!! I was also so relieved that Taylour was Trae’s baby and not Kyron’s baby because it would’ve got really crazy. Mari and Kendrick both got on my damn nerves in the story, but I can’t believe the Gresham’s Boys were behind Lil Faheem’s death. That was one plot twist I wasn’t expecting not to mention that the whole time Faheem was hallucinating his whole part in the story. Now that was a shocker!!!! Kyra, Rick, and Nina? Now that was a hot ass mess. I don’t know if Wahida Clark was trying to promote polygamy in her book but I really wasn’t expecting for Nina to play second to Kyra(Kyra act slow😂😂 so I figured she’ll be with sharing Rick with Nina). I just thought Rick will choose Kyra over Nina but I was wrong. But I feel like the most underrated couple is Angel and Kaylin. Cmon Angel is a lawyer while helping her man run a legit record company. Talk about a boss king and a boss queen. Trae🙄🤦♂️😩😍......is one of the most complicated characters in this series because he will make you love him but you’ll hate him at the same time too if that makes sense. I’m still not happy he had to fuck the same bitch to get him out of trouble when fucking her in the first place was what got him in trouble. Overall this was a great, speedy read that I enjoyed. I can’t wait to see what Thugs 8 has to offer I just hope Ms. Wahida doesn’t make us wait another 7 years for ot

Soooo disappointed! The flow of this book is completely different form the others 6. Felt like someone else wore it and I wasted my time reading. I waited how many years for this smh. Didn’t like the storyline and nothing really happened. The first 160 pages felt like a set up for something then when it finally came I’m like oh thats it. I still don’t kno what Kyra Nina and Rich are doing. That’s a whole other mess. Don’t get me wrong Wahida is my fav female author and I have read all of her books but this was jus bad and could’ve been so much better.

This is the first time that I've ever been unhappy with my favorite author and this will be the only book of hers that did not make my favorites list, however I am still looking forward to the next installment of this. I just hope that it will be as good as the previous installments and that it doesn't take another 4 years. Is it me or was this and the preview book the same thing.

It wasn't your best.
It wasn't like the other books in the series. It was slow and didn't keep my interest like the others. The other books in the series, I couldn't put the book down until I finished the book. They were page turners. Disappointed 😞

My review in 6 words: ball of confusion
Once again, a book full of short chapters, which I love! The story line was non stop action but towards the end I started to get real confused. I can’t say too much without spoiling but what I will say is this...I’m still tryna figure out what was real and what wasn’t? I’m thinking Wahida was gonna retire after Thugs 7 but look like it will be an 8th

Confused
I waited YEARS to get this! I really wanted to leave a resounding review but I can’t. It must be another book coming because it left so many open endings. Seriously, this book only left me confused and unfulfilled.

Awww I was disappointed by this storyline. I wasn’t feeling it at all. Also, I felt like I was left hanging with the different storylines. I knew once Kyron was killed in book 6 we were gonna loose a lot other excitement. It was all the messiness from 4/5 with Trae, Tasha, Charli Li, & Kyron that pushed the storyline forward. I was not feeling Kyra & Rick’s storyline. I didn’t want Kyra to bend but instead make Rick choose. And let’s not talk about Jaz & Faheem’s storyline wound up being a delusion of his mental break. I get what W was trying to do but it didn’t fit at that particular point and it almost felt as if she threw in just quickly to wrap up their story. Then the ending was a cliffhanger? Because what happened to Kevin and Seven?
On a whole I enjoyed the series I just didn’t like book 7. The series could have definitely wrapped up book with book 6.

Good read
Mari was so crazy and Charli Li does not know when to quit! I felt bad for Faheem. This was a really good read. The crew has so many enemies. It just doesn’t stop. Ready to see what happens next.

First off I love the the Thug series but this book, after waiting a very long time, did not live up to the hype of the others. It took awhile for the book to get good and when it finally did, it turned into a rushed ending.

I'm a little disappointed. I felt like this book was all over the place. It definitely had me confused in the end. The whole situation with Faheem didn't sit right with me. I love me some Wahida Clark and I waited a long time for this book to come out but honestly I was not impressed. Hopefully the next installment will be better. It just can't end like this....

Not what I expected
Soooo we waited all this time for this. First and foremost I loved wahida books but I don't think she went back and read the series before she put this book out. She actually could've just kept this put away. We didn't even need this book and from how it ended it may be another 1 but please don't. You messed up some classics with this mess

Im afraid to say the author is losing her touch. Every Thug Needs a Lady was the best of the series hands down. This book shows it is gone be filled with more unnecessary drama.

It was nice to see the crew

I BORROWED FROM THE LIBRARY. I HATED THE NARRATOR! HE WOULD START OFF THEN WHISPER & REPEAT WHISPER NAMES AS IF HE WAS TRYNNA FIGURE OUT THE PROPER PRONOUNCIATIONS OF THE NAMES & WORDS!
I REFUSED TO GET THIS PARTICULAR AUDIOBOOK BECAUSE OF HIS NARRATION (FYI: I ALSO DIDN'T GET BOOK 1: THUGS & THE WOMEN WHO LOVED THEM BUT THAT WAS BECAUSE THE ONLY CHARACTER I LIKED ROZ WAS LESS FEATURED/BARELY IN THE BOOK!)!
ONCE AGAIN TRAE MACKLIN WAS A JAILBIRD & ONLY WAS FREED WHEN HE YET AGAIN CHEATED ON ROZ/TASHA & SCREWED CHARLI LI NEGLECTING TO PULL OUT BEFORE RELEASING HIS J*ZZ INSIDE HER! SO READERS EXPECT ANOTHER CHARLI LI PREGNANCY BY MARRIED AZZ TRAE EITHER IN WC'S NEXT BOOK OR NEW SERIES.

Don't get me wrong I love the whole gang I have been following them since the beginning Kaylyn and Angel are my favorite couple I love them so much I'm so tired of Trae and Tasha Shenanigans with Charli I hate that Faheem is going through what he's going through who would have thought but it confused me because when we read sevens story faheem was present so I don't get where he imagined everything I'm confused in about Kayron I wish you would have just kept his Kayron's character alive to me Kayron seemed like he was a boss at one point but Tasha ain't as innocent as they make her in that situation I think she cared for him at one point and actually fell in love with him but that's my opinion. I'm going to read the 8th hopefully it is the end of the gang that I love so much but I don't think she has anything else to write about with those guys can't wait for book 8 I hope it don't take as long as book 7 did I think that's where she messed up at..I love you Wahida

This book was so terrible. I used to love Wahida's thug series, but this book felt so rushed and forced it was hard to finish. It was all over the damn place !!! So many different points of view. It was impossible to keep up with because it didn't really have a pace.
I told a friend of mine that the ending reminded me of those shows that end abruptly and the screen fades to black and the credits start rolling. You're just sitting there going "WTF WAS THAT ?!" And that's exactly how it made me feel !!
I have so many unanswered questions.
Like when Trae and Kaylin were in China, Trae fucked Charli raw and she recorded it but then he just came back home and they never revisited what happened with that.
And Tasha's brother was being held hostage but then he was apparently getting burned alive but then had another POV chapter ??? Like...
I got a headache trying to rap my mind around all the craziness.
Wahida just need to put these characters to sleep once and for all. It's obvious her heart isn't in it anymore.

Whew this was a lot slow at first but gets better. What I don't understand is with how educated all of the women are why do they get valuable information and sit on it until tragedy hit. Once they discovered what was in the package Mari delivered why was this not turned over to the appropriate people and have her dealt with why just hold on to this knowing she could be fired put in jail. Trae is going to get caught lol I love Angel and Kaylin relationship seems to be the most solid. I feel bad for Faheem and hope he comes out of this quickly the family needs him. I hope Kevin is okay can't believe Kendrick but then again he I can be was besties with Kyron crazy ass can't wait for Kaylin to find out and handle him

WORTH... THE... WAIT
I have been anticipating this book forever now that I've read it I am wanting more. The crew is back and with even more drama my favorite good couple Trae and Tasha are back and expecting a baby girl with everything that has happened to this couple can their marriage weather the storm? Some new faces have made appearances I couldn't stand Mari or Seven's ass because they were acting too damn thirsty for me half the time I wanted to punch Mari in the damn face (lol). If you are a fan of this series I suggest you read it because it's definitely a page-turner

Some new faces have made appearances I couldn't stand Mari or Seven's ass because they were acting too damn thirsty for me half the time I wanted to punch Mari in the damn face (lol). If you are a fan of this series I suggest you read it because it's definitely a page-turner

horrible. she literally didnt do anything with this book. and no i didnt read none of the short stories because it was little a waste of my time. didnt even end the book on a good note or anything. this was indeed one of the worst books wahida clark has ever written. she just slid through here for no apparent reason. these short stories have nothing to do with the thug series. and she is constantly putting commercial work of her website on every other page. this was definitely wack. and i know for facts wahida clark can do so much better. so is there just not going to be another thug series to finish this one off?

Couldn’t wait to read this book! I love this series! Now I’m wondering if Charli Li really dead? Wtf was Mari thinking? Kyron is dead and gone boo move on! I’m glad that baby turned out to be Traes. But I’m left to wonder did Charli Li send out that video of her and Trae? U know Trae was really getting on my nerves cheating on Tasha. That’s one thing I hate is a cheater! Kaylin is my book boyfriend. I love me some Kay. Faheem poor Faheem. I’d never thought he turned out like that. Poor Jaz and Keerah. Rick Kyra and Nina wow! I wonder about them!!!

Boy Oh boy! I've been holding on to my seat the whole time reading this book. That dang Mari is crazy as they come. Like why go through all of that trouble for a man who never wanted you. I'm so disappointed in Trae for sleeping with charli yet again and I hope that don't come back and bite him in the a--. Poor Fah just going though it and I hope he bounce back. Glad the gang are all back together again and can't wait to see what's next.

If you've followed the crew then you already the drama never ends. WC does what she does best and tells their tale the way only she can. Current issues facing our community were seamlessly weaved into the storyline. Which not only entertained but made you take a moment to consider yourself and your loved ones. Job well done WC! Now this book would have got two stars if the preview was if you would have gave us a little more in the actual book but the preview in the actual book 7 are the same so the support it in this book I thought it was going to be better than what I expected but sadly it was a left out I have a big fan of all of her books I have purchased them all paperback hardback and on Kindle considered them to be a collector's item but this one will not make the cut sorry

This was just as amazing as the 6 before. Yes it was long overdue, but not rushed either. How many times do we rush authors for the next installment? Great read but it has too much going on especially if this the last book .Overall I enjoyed it I can't wait to read the next book and find out what happens .

Wahida Clark is one of my inspirations
Wahida Clark is one of the reasons why I picked up a pen and decided to pursue the craft. Her honesty and hard work is something that every young author needs to know and appreciate. Without her there simply wouldn't be alot of authors that exist right now.

I love this series
I’m have to say I’m sad this is the end😒... I fell in love with all the characters you had me sitting on edge of my chair and bed... please make a tv series about your books... I would even play a character for free... that’s how good theses books are thank you so much now on to the next adventures in your 📚 books!
