Not terrible

I cannot say I found Kenna's adventure to be convincing nor was I enthralled enough with the style of the writing to consider another by this author.

Its not a terrible tale, but it lacks a "reason" other than an erotic vignette. Not my style.

Paley is such a gifted author. I think she could write anything, but she chooses to write erotica. This short story takes place at “The Estate” where her two Calyx books take place. There’s a new protagonist who is a successful businesswoman. She’s been to “The Estate” many times and has always been in control of living out her fantasies. This time she decides to try something different. A wild card means she won’t have any control. I rarely read erotica, but Paley’s writing is irresistible.
