I’ll be a good prince if she’ll be my filthy princess. Hazel’s stuck in my country. Only I can get her home. But I have a bad reputation, and I need to change my ways. So we make a deal. She can go home, but first I get a baby. Then I’ll let her leave. But not before I get a taste.
Yeah, they call me Prince Player, and I’m proud of it. I earned that reputation with a long string of soaking panties and broken hearts.
But it’s time to take what’s rightfully mine. If I want the crown, I need to change my image. My father favors my cousin, so I need to prove I can be the monarch this country needs.
When I see that sweet, sexy, innocent girl working in my castle, I have the perfect idea.
I’m getting Hazel pregnant. And we’re doing it the old fashioned way.
She’s stuck in my country until she can save up enough cash to get home. If she gives me what I want, I’ll let her leave. But not a second before I get my taste.
Her tight little body and those f**kable lips drive me insane. It’s dangerous for her to get involved with a man like me. I never let myself get close, but Hazel makes me want to fix myself.
She’s going to help me become the respectable prince that the king wants me to be.
And I’m going to make her the filthy little princess that I need between the sheets.
Prince Player is a royal romance with steamy scenes and bad language. It’s only recommended for readers 18+.
Prince Player is a STANDALONE, full-length novel. No cliffhanger. Guaranteed HEA. Includes bonus content!
Nolan most definitely a player!! He left the castle. He didn't want the pressure from his father. His father wanted the Prince to act a certain way, while Nolan just wanted to be his own man. Although Nolan wants a certain way a life (which also includes women) he returns to claim what is rightfully his. He has to fight tough and nail to prove to the King that he is capable of taking over. He takes the steps necessary to clean up his image. That includes marriage. Hazel is an American and has caught the eyes of the Prince. Hazel is perfect!! She doesn't care about his title!! They were out a deal that works for the both of them!! A steamy romance full of delicious yumminess!! Chemistry that is off the charts!! Wonderfully written!! Fantastic story!!
Nolan is a playboy prince in every sense of the word & is returning to the castle to reclaim his rightful place as crowned prince. He father, the king, wants to name his cousin to the title because Nolan has drifted so far away from the royal way of life. Hazel is a maid in the castle who is just trying to earn enough money to make it back home to the states after being mugged in Europe. When Hazel stumbles into Nolan's apartment in the castle, he instantly interested in her. Eventually, Nolan offers Hazel a married to be wife consort as long as she agrees to bear his heir. She will receive a monthly allowance & will be allowed to live her own life once a child is born. What starts out as an arranged marriage soon turns into a fight for Nolan's title. Nolan & Hazel work together to win Nolan's rightful place in the royal family & in the meantime they both fall in love.
This is a cute & entertaining story about finding the family you need right in front of you. B.B. Hamel delivers a believable, well written tale that is full of humor & struggles to do what is right.

Nolan Leitner is the Prince of Polovia or as the press like to call him, "Prince Player " because of his prowess with the ladies. His father, King Jackson and him don't see eye to eye on the way he should be living his life. He sees a news report stating the King will be naming his successor soon and that it might not be his only heir, Nolan. His Father doesn't think he's responsible enough to lead their country and he's becoming awful chummy with Nolan's oldest cousin. Nolan returns to the family's castle for the first time in ten years to live there and convince the King that he is worthy and a much better choice than his cousin. Hazel graduated from college with a degree in marketing. She decided to pack back alone through Europe and was fine until she was robbed in Austria. When she arrived in Polovia a woman named Britta helped her by getting her a job as a maid at the castle working for the royal family. Nolan sees Hazel in the castle and thinks she would be perfect for what he has in mind. I didn't think their arrangement made much sense. If he's supposed to be more responsible and not a poon hound then why have her be named a wife consort. This lets everyone know that their "marriage" is a business deal only and both of them are free to sleep with other people. They even told her she could take another husband and only had to return to Polovia twice a year. WTF ? And their child/children would be living with him in Polovia. I don't think so !
This is another one of those BB Hamel-same-story-different-characters, five-books-stuffed-into-one-Kindle-file books.
Again, we have the royal/billionaire dude, instantly attracted to the common chick. He wants to bang her brains out and put his baby in her belly--like NOW. There is some court or family intrigue where a family member is being naughty and trying to take over the dude's reign or business or country... The bad guy tells lies about the heroine (she's a whore spy), the dude gets righteously indignant, the bad guy gets his comeuppance, and there's a happily ever after TEN YEARS LATER where the chick is preggers and the dude wants to f**k her right then and there.
It's formulaic, which means predictable, which means I will not read another BB Hamel book.
I love the romances of BB Hamel and I have to say that of his books about princes, this is the one I liked the most so far. Nolan is a somewhat disaffected Prince of real affairs, determined to live life in self-indulgence, but when he discovers that his father intends to take away his right to the throne decides that it is time to return and assume his responsibilities. Hazel is an American backpacker girl from Europe, who, as a matter of destiny, is in Polovia, working as a maid in the palace, while she collects enough money to go home. Prince Nolan believes that in order to win the favor of his father he must show that he has changed and is willing to settle down, so he decides to marry and get an heir and choose Hazel for this task, who has little to lose and much to gain In this agreement, only that the road to the throne will not be easy.
An interesting story that, despite having the same line as its predecessors, has a different focus on the country's internal politics and political tinkering, where each one wants to get their piece of cake at the expense of the ordinary citizen.
I voluntarily read an Advance Review Copy of this book.
Everything Prince Nolan has done since he was a child has been with the Kingship of Polovia in mind; he has been trained and groomed for the position and, as the King’s son, is the obvious choice for Crown Prince. But father and son have not always seen eye-to-eye and now Julian Eder has the King’s favour. It is 10-years since Prince Nolan has been to the castle, but when he hears he may lose his crown, he heads home to solidify his claim to the throne. While his father may not approve of how he has been living, it cannot be denied he will make a good King; but he is not established. Polovia is socially and culturally backward and it is time to bring it into the 21st century. While Prince Nolan wants to show that freedom, quality and openness will benefit everyone, Julian wants to instigate Draconian laws that will only hurt the country. Though misunderstood, Prince Nolan is a good person and a natural leader. Hazel went to college to get a degree in marketing, yet here she is working as a maid, cleaning one of the most beautiful places in the whole world, the Castle of Polovia; but she has one goal and that is to get home. Unforeseen circumstances have brought her here, but then she gets an offer from Prince Nolan, a man who is used to getting what he wants; but does she really want to get involved with some arrogant, cocky, spoiled Prince? He wants her to become his Wife Consort; to give him a baby and some legitimacy. Julian is a pathetic excuse for a man, crafty and weak, but he is getting more aggressive with his tactics, determined to discredit Hazel at every turn. Prince Nolan needs leverage, and to find Julian’s weakness, while shoring up his alliances and the support he needs to build up his power base; but he is getting a lot of resistance. The young of the country are full of surprises and Prince Nolan can sense that; there is change coming because the young are tired of the failing policies of the old. The day finally comes when Julian’s indiscretions are revealed, but even after Julian steps aside, Prince Nolan’s father refuses to elevate him into the position of Crown Prince and Prince Nolan finally sees him for what he is. Prince Nolan and Hazel decide to make their marriage official. This boosts Prince Nolan’s popularity, and the subsequent referendum ensures he is able to assume his rightful position; now Polovia will be a better place for everyone. This is another excellent book from this author and one I would have no hesitation in recommending. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.
Hazel was backpacking and exploring Europe when disaster strikes and she is robbed of all her money. Fortunately a kind woman helped her out and recommended her for a job as maid cleaning the royal castle. She doesn't speak the country's language but it is related to German so she can understand some things. One day she hears the other maids talking about the prince coming home and they warn her to avoid him. She didn't catch why. Then she forgets to knock before going into a room on the royal wing and catches a strange man in his underwear. Hazel is immediately attracted to him but is cautious since she is just a maid. Prince Nolan has been away from his country for 10 years. He had disagreements with his dad and wanted out of his backward country. After hearing rumors that his dad is considering making his cousin crown prince, Nolan had to return. His first day back he is disturbed by a beautiful American maid entering his room. He wants to get Hazel in his bed. After getting the lay of the land he finds out that one of the biggest strikes against him is his Prince Player reputation. Nolan comes up with what he thinks is a great idea. He will ask Hazel to be his Wife Consort and to have his baby. This will prove he is ready to settle down. He offers Hazel half a million dollars every year in return for marrying him and having a child. After she has the child she would be free to do whatever she wants. Hazel is more tempted by the idea of Nolan in bed than the money but after some thought she agrees. Now they have to explore their marriage and survive royal politics because the cousin isn't giving up without a fight. This is a good book with some twists and turns. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.
Hazel was traveling around Europe alone when she had all of her money stolen. In order to make enough money to buy a plane ticket back home to America, she takes a job as maid in Polovia’s (made up European country) royal castle.
Prince Nolan’s father, the King, is about to pass him over for title of Crown Prince in favor of Nolan’s douchey cousin, Julian. In an attempt to win his father over, Nolan comes up with an ingenious plan: get married and have a kid. Since he finds the maid, Hazel, so hot, he propositions her the same day they meet to become his Wife Consort. She accepts and – bada-bing, bada-boom – she’s a princess.
The plot is a bit fantastical, but it was cute. I found the characters to be the best Hamel’s written, so far. Granted, Nolan and Hazel get married the day after they meet, but it isn’t insta-love. Nolan is patient with Hazel, letting her get to know him before they knock boots and make a baby. And once they do get it on? *PSSSSssssss* (that’s bacon hitting the pan…. It sizzled. That’s my point). Anyway…
Prince Player was a solid 4 stars… until the ending. It was “don’t blink to long or you might miss it” fast. The entire climax with Julian had ok buildup, but it ends without a significant resolution. *Possible Spoiler* I was left with soooo many questions as to how they can have a happily ever after despite the King being completely unsupportive and Julian still being a threat. And Julian, WTH happens with him? Jail? Excommunication? Castration? I finally found out how horrible of a person he gets no comeuppance? Bubkus!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I didn't care for Nolan, Hazel and the royal situation at the beginning of the book but, then I got totally sucked into their passion, their mission and their future. Nolan is too much of a player and he handles the situation too clinical for me. I don't like the cavalier attitude about his "business proposition." Hazel hesitates slightly because of the clause in their contract where she would give full and complete custody of any children to Nolan. But, then, she is able to make a decision within 24 hours to marry Nolan for the adventure of it. Nolan and Hazel don't think of the long term ramifications of their actions. However, it is shortly after a kiss on the rooftop of the castle that things start to take a turn and become more than Nolan and Hazel expected.
The drama of the story is excellent. The political intrigue is not overwhelming and it keeps the story interesting without overshadowing the romance. The King is willing to pass the crown to his nephew, Julian verses his son, Nolan. It doesn't matter to the King that Julian is a horrible human being and will not be good for Polovia. He and Nolan do not get along but, Nolan wants to change that starting with marrying Hazel and producing an heir.
Nolan and Hazel's passion is hot and intense. Their relationship deepens as they get to know each other and the political climate escalates.
This is a well-written, well thought out book. I recommend it especially, if you are into the royal and policital romances.
I received an ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.
Nolan is most certainly the Prince Player, but he has a heart as well especially for his country. While he wants what is rightfully his, the Crown, he also knows his cousin Julian will ruin the place that he loves. Playing by his fathers' rules to get back in his good graces means he has to put aside his player ways and take a wife and get to making an heir quickly. Hazel is the perfect women for the position! American, doesn't care about his title or money, has a fire behind her that makes her his perfect match. The spark between them is electrifying. He can help her get home; she can help him win back his father's trust. What could go wrong?! Oh, how I loved this book! Prince Player is one of those stories once I started I refused to stop until I finished, even though it was 1 A.M and I was doing everything possible to keep myself awake! The characters are excellent. Nolan had so much more depth to his character than I would have anticipated, his dirty talk has some game! * phew* ( He is an amazing mental picture of what my fairy tale 'grown up' *clears throat* prince would be like, minus the man-whore part haha) Hazel is this impressive mixture of self-assured, intelligent, nervous and witty!
I think this was a well-written story, with a hot fantasy theme that kept my interest peaked throughout this fast moving drama and romance. One I am putting on my to read again list!
Prince Nolan left his posh lifestyle in the castle to be on his own and reject the influence his father had on him. His father wanted Nolan to behave and be a certain way, but Nolan wanted to be his own man. He lives a less complicated life. He enjoys the finer things. This includes women, of course. But, he also has a vision for when he takes over as Crown Prince. He has a lot of changes in mind that will better serve the people. So, when rumor comes out that he will be passed over for the Crown for his cousin, Nolan is more than shocked and heads back to the castle to figure out what is going on. Being away for so long has weakened Nolan's ability to lead in his father' eyes. But, Nolan does not let this deter him. The next part of his plan includes marrying the new American made, Hazel. Having a wife and family is a purely political move, but it's also a step in this consummate bachelor becoming more serious and focused in pursuit of his title. Nolan grows a lot during this book, he rises above needing his father's approval, conquers his enemy, gets the girl, and his title.

Prince Nolan "Prince Player" must return to the Palace. His father is to announce the "heir" to the thrown soon, at it's looking like it will be his cousin and not him. He must do whatever it takes to not have this happen. Hazel, is a young American girl traveling, when she is robbed and now to broke to fly home. She must work in order to save to go back. Her friend gets her job at the Palace as a maid. While cleaning she walks in on Prince Nolan, only she has no idea who he is. When Nolan, meets Hazel he knows he's going to have her. Then an idea forms that he will make her his wife and get her pregnant to help him with the crown, neither have any idea of what they getting into. From the start the story is intense, with Hazel and Nolan. They have such amazing chemistry. She brings out the best in him and helps him become the Prince/King he needs to be. The story had it all for more. Suspense, Intrigue, loveable characters and oh so steamy scenes. So good!
A great steamy read about a Prince, Nolan, who is definatley a player and the maid, Hazel, who stumbles upon him when he returns to the castle. He's back because the King, his dad, may not crown him to be the next King, so he returns to do some damage control and try to win his dad over. First step is to get a wife consort so he is taken seriously and he can't think of anyone better than Hazel since their brief meeting. She agrees and soon they are on their way to win the votes at the castle and public. Unfortunately there are people standing in his way who don't want to see him succeed. Will they make it? A great steamy read about a man who is more than what people say he is, he cares about his Country and wants to do good and a woman who helps him along the way and doesn't back down to the challenges making the two a great couple and a HEA that is worth it. *I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book*
Nolan is a prince who kind of takes it for granted that he will become the Crowned Prince and eventually King of his country. The problem is, his lifestyle isn't exactly the type that is fit for someone of the royal family. He is a player who definitely enjoys the game. When he hears unconfirmed rumors that he will not inherit the throne he returns to his families castle to try and earn back the crown. He quickly realizes that in order to get back into his father's good graces he must change his ways. Hazel, one of the castle maids, becomes part of Nolan's plan to change his image. However, it isn't an easy task to get back what's rightfully his because his cousin has been training for years to take over and he has most of the nobles behind him. Not to mention Julian will do anything to make sure he is crowned. This book as a great plot with a few unexpected twists and interactions between Nolan and Hazel had me laughing and swooning.
This had such potential with Julian and then it just fizzled out! .I wanted too know more. The sex was so poorly written. In 3-5 consecutive paragraphs she writes the exact same crass sexual phrases. Overly repetitive trying to use every single slang word as to exactly where the male anatomy goes during sex! Leave me my imagination!!!! When they are kissing and he lowers his hand into her p***y its too much!!! Leave it at he lowers his hand..its clear where he's going! Certain tacky descriptors remove ANY AND ALL of ones imagination. Let mine fly into my own vs this author pulling me on HER PATH. Remember, 50 Shades was hot and sexy yet there was no cursing and no gross words used for m/f anatomy.....look at that multi million author!!!! I also resented that it said 666 ( big clue) pages and never mentioned : OH BY THE WAY, THERE IS ANOTHER STORY INCLUDED. A little CLASS goes a long way!
Loved how the story throws Hazel toward Nolan. Nolan is the prince of a small country and he's losing his position to a cousin who is a family man. He plans on finding a woman he can marry and impregnate so his father will hopefully change his mind and keep Nolan as the next king. Love Hazel and her attitude. She is first of all a maid in the castle and she makes the mistake of entering the prince's quarters without knocking. When Nolan sees this beautiful woman exiting his quarters he becomes entrigued and wants to find her. Could she be the woman he's looking for? She can't believe she keeps running into the prince. When he asks her to meet with him she is surprised. When Nolan tells Hazel about his plan she doesn't know what to think. Sure she can use the money but can she have a baby and just give it up? Love all that this couple gets into. Lots of hot scenes and suspense. My first read by B.B. Hamel but definitely not my last.
Another great read from B.B. Hamel! I loved Nolan and Hazel, the unlikely combination that becomes the driving force to change a country. Nolan is known as the Prince Player and he embraces the title, until he is forced to change his ways in order to be the change his country he loves. Hazel winds up in the country of Polovia down on her luck and needing a way to pay to get home and ends up working in the castle where she meets Nolan in the most unexpected way. Yet the two thrown together out of necessity will wind up making the biggest impact that neither saw coming in the beginning. Nolan is hot, bossy and used to getting what he wants, Hazel is independent, strong and will make Nolan chase if he really wants her and I loved that about their dynamic. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book There is a time for playing and a time to do your duty. Prince Nolan now realises it is time to go home and do his duty. The problem being, Nolan is in for more surprises than he realises. The first is being surprised by the sweetest woman he has ever seen and whilst he is undressed but the worst is realising how bad things are at home. When young maid Hazel barges into Prince Nolans room to clean, she is horrified to find anyone there or to find Nolan has a proposition for her. Oh wow, all she wants to do is earn enough money to go home to America. A story of Nolan and Hazel, swept along on a tide of duty, passion, lies, deception, lust, secrets, politics and one thing to bind them together forever... a baby. A brilliant story you will love ❤️
Prince Nolan may seem to have lost his way some. He decides to return to castle and royal court to take his rightful place. Although, Nolan’s father has decided to crown his cousin instead of him. Nolan working on a plan to show his father he is just as good as his cousin and will be a great king someday. Hazel is a maid in foreign country for royal family and has never met the prince. Will Nolan get more from Hazel and change his player ways? This will have you laughing and be rooting for the couple till the end. I enjoyed reading this book.
What a fantastic story, truly fun and exciting. There's a new king to come with his princess by his side.
4.5 Stars
Nolan has returned for his birthright, or has he lol. He's in for a shock and must prove he is the one to take the crown. He definitely goes about it in the most unique way.
Hazel the maid never thought she would meet royalty let alone be approached by the prince himself. What he proposes to her blows her mind.
Together they take on Polovia and it's present king.
Mature readers, some strong language and sexual content.
Bonus books included, yay.

hawt damn. nolan puts the bad in bad boy and royalty to boot. when he hears that his father is going to make his scuzzy cousin king all bets are off. he's going to get whats rightfully his. nolan didn't count on the American maid tho. hazel is a cleaner in the castle and she walks in the hottest guy she's ever seen and is shocked bc no one has been living in the room and of course she doesn't know who he is. nolan finds the situation comical and comes up with a plan.. .hey hazel to marry him and produce an heir....easier said then done. after becoming wife consort hazel is told she is a traitor and works for the American govt...lies all.made up by Julian. nolan and hazel are bound and determined to set things right but will it be too late??
There is Nolan is the Prince of Polovia who decided it was time to take his rightful place at home. Then there is Hazel, an American, backpacking through Europe. She got robbed and was able to get a job as a maid at the castle through a friend she met. When she meets the Prince by accident, he gets a plan to get to be named crown prince of Polovia. Get married and have a baby. Can you guess who he asks? There is a good plot and steady action as well as some good steam. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it and hope you do as well.

Nolan, Prince of Polovia, enjoys his life to the fullest… he is a player and a womanizer. Until his father threatens to exclude him from the throne and to make his cousin Julian the crown prince instead.
Nolan returns to the royal palace to gain his father’s favour again. There he meets the American maid Hazel who was robbed on her backpack tour through Europe and has to work now in order to earn enough money to return to the US. Somehow Nolan is mesmerized by her and decides to marry her...
Prince Player is a sweet, romatic novel with enough thrilling moments to keep you on your toes and to make you read as fast as you can just to see how everything is going to work out!
A made up country, a playboy prince, a down on her luck American, and a court riven with petty jealousies, intrigue, and dastardly deeds....phew!
This a fun, quick read in which the castle and its inhabitants are well described. The same can be said for the countryside which is brought to life by BB Hamel's descriptions.
Nolan is a typical playboy, or so we're led to believe, but he has hidden depths and strong reserves behind the facade.
Hazel, however, is a bit of a cipher, she shows little development, and her back story needs fleshing out.
I enjoyed the story and voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

I received this book in advance for a voluntary honest review. Love BB Hamel. Hazel works at the castle in Polovia as a maid, trying to earn enough money for a plane ticket home. Forgetting to knock, she barges in on Prince Nolan undressing. Nolan has returned to the castle to regain favor to be crown prince. Needing to clean up his image, he offers Hazel a contract, marry him and have his baby and she can have half a million dollars a year for life and she doesn't need to stay at the castle afterwards. Intense attraction begins to change the terms of their contract until there is no contract. The book had intrigue, romance and super steamy scenes. Couldn't put it down.
Nolan is known as Prince Player but when he learns that he might not be next in line to the throne, he comes up with a plan that involves a maid Hazel. Hazel never thought she would marry a royal let alone stay in a country she's not familiar with but Nolan can be persuasive. With Hazel by his side Nolan will do anything to get what is rightfully his. Good story with great characters and Nolan is so sweet. Another great story by B.B
