account of significant trial in history, though it reads like a wordy Wikipedia article. although i gained insight in the historical context and judicial system, I wouldn't recommend it over other literature on Angela Davis. however i Do wonder how it ended up in a rural thrift store where I found it.
a highlight for me was reading about the farmer who posted 400 acres for bail of Davis. I'd love to learn more of the story there.
