A heart is something that should not be entrusted to me.
I will tear, crush, and destroy it with my very own hands.
Then back away with a smile on my face.
It’s who I am—a killer, a player, a joker.
But hers, I’m unsure about.
Do I want to rupture and rip it from her chest?
Or do I want to hold and capture it with my own?

Not romantic
Not safe
He freaks ow while she is recovering because of a rape!
I hate that trope
I hate when people say they weren’t together! That’s not true at all, when she is better he acts like nothing has happened between them and she is his again!
He is not supportive
I liked the other books in the series but her style is childish and there’s no grovel at all,
My last one from her

“A heart is something that should not be entrusted to me. I will tear, crush, and destroy it with my very own hands. Then back away with a smile on my face. It’s who I am—a killer, a player, a joker. But hers, I’m unsure about. Do I want to rupture and rip it from her chest? Or do I want to hold and capture it with my own?”

Anton is a sexy, smartass, man-whore who doesn’t believe in love.

“Lust! Lust is what I believe in. Lust doesn’t equal crash. Love equals crash. I never want to crash.”

But then Anton sees Sam and he must have her, at least for one night. But, one night just isn’t enough.

Sam is a beautiful, sassy, stripper who lives her life for her sister and she cannot afford to catch feeling for a bad guy. However, no matter how hard she tried not to she starts to develop feeling for Anton. But then something horrible happens to her and she begins to shut down and push away those feelings.

“He may be right for me, but I’m tarnished, hurt, branded as he liked to put it. How could a man love someone like me? All that’s left of me is pieces, and I’m not sure if I can put them back together, let alone for someone else.”

However, after some time Anton realizes he has crashed and he needs her as much as she needs him!!

“I don’t want to escape the crash, I want to stay in the destruction. All the way until my heart doesn’t beat anymore.”

I loved the chemistry and the playful banter between these two. Anton has been one of my favorites throughout the entire series and I am happy he finally found his heart but I am sad this series come to an end. I am not ready to let the Smirnov Bratva men go!!

Ok I've needed some time to put into words my thoughts on Dismissed...

Firstly I want to say that I have been an absolute fan of these #SmirnovBratvaBoys from Day one and this series will always be one of my top reads, I adore the shit out of these boys. I was super excited to finally get to look into the world that makes Anton tick and T.L. Smith once again nailed it.

Anton throughout the series has been the wise talking sexy smart arse that will have you killing yourself laughing one minute and melting your panties off the next. You see out of all the boys he knows how to take care of himself and he will never disappoint you in the bedroom. In Dismissed Anton really comes into his own, he is a love em and leave em kinda guy, because he doesn't do relationships but when he meets the seductive Samara well let's just say things get a whole lot of interesting and fast.

I loved Anton's book, T.L. Smith knows how to write her Bad Boys and if you've read them you will know what I'm talking about when I say I'm addicted. You can expect super hot SEX, some cleverly written Banter not only with Sam but between the boys too, I'm super bummed that this is the last we will see of these Bratva Boys, I'm hoping it's not.

Do yourself a favour, grab your copy you will not be disappointed, this book and this series is one of my all time top reads by T.L. Smith.

And T.L Smith has done it again!

Seriously; I love these guys, I shouldn't, I mean there all kinds of bad, their killers, leaders in the Russian Bratva but heck I just can't resist a bad boy.

I have loved everyone of these books, all brilliant in their own way, each of the guys are best friends, I've loved each one of there story's and there journey's on the road to romance, Death being my favorite of the bunch.

T.L Smith has a brilliant way of having you laughing at the banter between the guys one minute then white knuckle gripping your kindle the next with the Bratva involvements.

Anton, wow!, a man-whore to a man in denial and love, my favorite kind of story's, my guilty pleasure, he's cocky, witty, dangerous and a whole heap of sexy and Sam she really did fit in with the group, I liked her.

Sam is a stripper who puts her sisters needs first by working and doing what she does so her sister can study to be a doctor, she's selfless, has backbone & sass.

Can you have a fluffy dark Mafia Romance? I think you can, Anton & Sam's story fit that description perfectly.

Dismissed is exciting, I could read about these guys over and over I love them, I just thought it finished to abruptly though, kind of rushed at the end to reach a sort of satisfying hea to a reader it was like I blinked in the last chapter and it ended.

Dismissed is told in dual first persons dual pov, a standalone & part of a series.

Looking forward to the next book by T.L Smith. Recommended Mafia series with great characters you get to see in each book.

Reading this entire series, you see all of the antics of Anton and the love and camaraderie within the Bratva itself. Loved Samara and I also appreciated the love between her and her sister.

Ever since I started this series and met the Smirnov Bratva boys I have been hanging on for Anton's book and TL Smith certainly did not disappoint me with this one! This was totally my favourite in the series! I am now gutted its the last in the series as I would love to see more of the boys.

TL Smith is a phenomenal writer who certainly knows how to give her readers characters you absolutely love and become invested in, and fantastic storylines that make you unable to put the book down until you get to the end. She sucks you in and makes you feel it all along with the characters as they are written with such raw emotion that you laugh, cry and swoon with them.

How can you not love Anton, he is the cheeky playboy of the group, he is the wind up merchant, the ladies man. It will certainly take a special woman to knock him on his ass and Sam is certainly that! I loved watching these two together, their connection was intense from the beginning, despite their protests it was just sex, they seem to call to each other on another level that is special and unique. Their banter is spot on and had me in stitches.

I will certainly miss Anton's verbal sparring with Death, it is such a brilliant bromance. I loved Death in the other books but in this one, he embedded in my heart just that bit more.

Once again TL Smith has outdone herself with this amazing series. A must read if you love mafia romances! These boys will suck you in.

The last instalment in the Smirnov Bratva Series.........I DON'T WANT IT TO END!!!

But what a way to end a series.

Sinful, dark, twisted, all consuming, delicious, panty melting, raw, confronting and yet again a manipulation of the mind.
Dismissed......Perfection.

Anton......My lord what a guy.
Sexy, all male, body to die for, a smart mouth and is not afraid to take a life. It's in his blood. He thrives on his next kill. It's who he is.
And love......Not a hope.
Anton doesn't do love. In his world there is no such thing. Lust, maybe, but love no way.

But this tough, broody, smart mouthed man is about to meet his match.
One taste is all it takes.
He's hooked and can't get enough.
She will be his game changer.

Samara.
Young, beautiful and independent. Having to raise her sister Raven all on her own, Samara will do anything for Raven. The jobs she currently has pay the bills and that's all she needs. Anything to get her sister to where she needs to be.
So a relationship is not on the cards.
It doesn't fit her agenda.

But one taste is all it takes.
She's hooked and can't get enough.
He will be her game changer.

This is Anton and Samara's world.
This is their story, their voice.

People.....Be prepared to be taken on the ride of your life.

I have no idea how T.L. Smith does it, but she just does. So beautifully written I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning to finish it. I couldn't put it down. It completely drew me in.
A slightly different read to the other novels in the series as this contained a particular sensitive subject matter which I must admit tore my heart out.
But T.L gave it so much depth and respect that I can honestly say that I haven't read another novel like it.
What Anton and Samara face is nothing short of heart-breaking and soul crushing.
The odds are completely stacked against them.
But what they face and conquer is simply breathtaking.

A perfect way to end an amazing series. I will miss Kazier, Viktor, Death and Anton, and not to mention Elina, Freya, Pollie and Samara. These guys have been a HUGE part of my reading life this past year and I will miss them all dearly.

Congrats T.L. You are simply brilliant.

5 stars.

Gah this book!! I loved this book so much.

Anton is the happy but sometimes irritating member of the Bratva crew. He's a ladies man, a joker with a big mouth. He's loyal to his 'family' and spends most of his time thinking with his other head 😉 He loves sex and women but he's got no interest in anything more than one night. That changes when he sees Samara. Sam's not like the other women that Anton's used to. She doesn't throw herself at him, has no interest in seeing him again and would like him a lot better if he would just keep quiet. Anton's not one to take no for an answer though and he's determined to get Sam back in his bed. I loved Anton. He has no idea why he wants Sam as badly as he does, she both confuses and intrigues him and she definitely keeps him on his toes. But there is more to Anton as Sam eventually sees. Deep down he's not just the loud, brash, dirty minded chatterbox you think he is.

Anton and Samara are great together. Their banter, the sexual chemistry and the push and pull between them are all expressed perfectly. This is definitely my favourite of the Bratva series and I can't recommend this book enough.

“I don’t. I don’t want to escape the crash, I want to stay in the destruction. All the way until my heart doesn’t beat anymore.”

Anton is the last of the Bratva men not pussy whipped and not under the thrall of being totally in love. He's the perfect Russian playboy with a different woman every night he enjoys being single and enjoys sex. Yet one night with a woman who then sneaks out on him makes him curious and so begins a merry chase. On the surface she is a stripper and a self confident woman who isn't ashamed to use her sexuality as a tool but underneath the surface she has demons she is trying hard to ignore. Can the playboy manage to work her out of his system or will she be the woman that makes him fall?

I laughed, shook my head and at times really wanted to hurt Anton. He can be totally dumb at times but then redeems himself by doing the simple things. He's a contradiction but that's his attraction. Capable of delivering death to those that stand against him whilst taking care of those that matter he's perfectly imperfect in every way. Samara has already survived so much drama in her short life that has helped define her as the strong capable woman she is but Anton makes her want, desire and dream. He's everything she doesn't think she needs but can he become her everything...their story is filled with trauma and pain but Anton does what he does best and deals with all the monsters. It's also fab catching up with all our previous couples and how they are all getting along. The relationship between Death and Anton hasn't changed and still has me enthralled with the love/hate vibe they have going on. They are one big family, loyal and loving and this story embraces that completely. It was a fantastic read, once again TL Smith has written a story that I simply lost myself to.

A five star love gets you when you least expect it read.

PHENOMENAL!
ANTON
ANTON
ANTON

He's my ABSOLUTE favorite Smirnov Bratva male!!! I mean come on as cocky, and a pain in the @$$ he is, he's quite the character!!! I believe this is TL Smith's best book to date!!!

Anton continues to be the wise @$$ he's been throughout this series. Yes he gives us some swoon worthy moments!!!
Dismissed shows us a different side of Anton. And I LOVED IT!!!

Samara was such a spitfire! I adored her character. I can say she's one strong woman. Just the type Anton needs!!

T.L. Smith continues to deliver 5 star reads, one after the other. Not only is Dismissed SEXY, HOT! You get so many laugh out loud moments. I found myself laughing so much at the banter between Anton and Death, and Anton And Sam. I can't wait to read more from her!!!

This is the fourth book in this series and the one I had been really waiting for. Anton is the funny guy, the one with all the wise cracks but when Samara crosses his path can he keep his distance or will she be the one to put a smile on his face and in his heart for a whole other reason. This book had the grit of a Bratva book with the underlying beautiful romance of a man that didn't think he could love one person forever and a woman who had a life that threw everything at her to test her worth and strength. Anton may be a killer with a smirk that would turn you into a puddle on the floor but he will steal your breath away for a whole other reason. Absolutely loved this book and can't wait to see what is next.

Dismissed by TL Smith is the fourth and final installment in the Smirnov Bratva Series.
While every book is about another couple and can easily be read as a standalone, I recommend to read the books in order.
Distrust, book one; Disbelief, book two; Defiance, book three; Dismissed, book four.
This is Anton and Samara´s book.
Anton is one of the four heads of the Smirnov Bratva. He´s high energy, has no filter, does what he wants and only listens to Kazier. He´s blunt, sometimes to the point where it hurts.
Samara is a stripper who works hard to make ends meet. Anton is fascinated by her. But he doesn´t do love, ever. He tries to get her out of his system. Pffft , as if that would work, ever.

Dismissed is my favorite read in the Smirnov Bratva Series. The characters are " real". They´re believable and Anton, the swoon-worthy, smiling, ice-cold killer is my favorite character. I love his banter with Death. I loved meeting again the other family members and see what happened to them.
I read the book in one sitting. I didn´t wanted to book to end , but I couldn´t not know what happened to the characters.
I recommend te book, the series and give 5 stars. Thank you, TL Smith !

The Bratva is nothing to mess with!! These boys are straight up CRAY CRAY but I would LOVE them on my side for sure!! TL has such an amazing way of making then hate able, lovable and freaking bat sh!t crazy. Between them being AMAZING in bed and AMAZING in battle there is no way any woman could resist. Needless to say their women are equally as CRAY CRAY.. lol

The story line was awesome and I just love how Anton fights the love that is growing but fights just as hard to protect his Bratva.

Samara is just an awesome character but just like the others she has been hurt in so many ways. That being said she just keeps kicking and kicks even harder than she did to start until Anton. He changes the game for her but can she change his?

This book is just as awesome as the rest, so you will not be disappointed like you may with other series. TL makes sure to keep you wanting more and gives it to you!!

Another awesome book TL thank you so much!!!

I'm sad to say this is the last book in the Smirnov Bratva series. I've loved each and every character that TL Smith has brought us and Dismissed is no different.

Anton is the joker, a player, and kind of an ass. Sam is the ultimate female character, and when you put the two of them together... hold on to your bellies because they will have you laughing your ass off.

For a series finale, TL gives you another amazing read and I so cannot wait to see where she takes her writing from here.

I may need to go back and read these books from the beginning from time to time. TL Smith will make you fall in love with these characters so much you won't want to say goodbye. So if you haven't taken a chance on her writing then start with book 1 of this series, I promise you won't be disappointed.

I absolutely love your Bratva series T.L. Smith!!! I think you should write one a few years later so we can see what happened and who has kids and how the adults are doing. I would also like to know what happened to Mitchell did he finally give up? I also need to know about the sisters! So many questions that this can't be the last book lol. I love Anton and Samara's relationship and all the twists and turns in it. I love Anton and Death's bromance it cracks me up every time. This book touched on some really deep things also which I also love. Fantastic read T.L. Smith I definitely recommend it!

This series is an essential read for fans of TL Smith.
The series has got better and better and most fans will know that Death was everyone's favourite............well step aside Death cos Anton's about to steal your crown!
TL 's writing keeps you deep within the pages throughout as usual.
The Bratva men remain just as strong alongside their respective females who have softened their edges a bit.
Anton is the remaining single, hit it and quit guy of the group.
Anton is not at all what you expect him to be but he is definitely one to love. (And lust over!!!)

Wow, T.L. did it again. I absolutely love reading about the Bratva guys. This writer has a way with her words, that suck you in. Once you start you don't want to put the book down. Love bad boy Anton. He is loyal and dedicated to his brothers. That is until Sam enters the picture. You need to read Dismissed to see what happens with Anton and Sam. The book had me laughing at times, it had a twist or two you didn't see coming.

Dismissed, where do I start.... Think I will start with it was too short. I wanted more! In true TL Smith style, the book grabs you from the first page and holds you captive until the end.

If you are new to TL Smith start with book one in this series and read all of them, you won't be sorry that you did.

This is the final book in this series and boy am I going to miss the Bratva Bad Boys. They may be the devil, but they each have a side hiding that makes them so much more appealing once you see the good with the bad. This is Anton's story and we always seen him as the joker and the man to destroy the lives of others. He was a true monster in that sense, but for some reason we still fall in love with these men that TL continues to wrap us in and scratch our head thinking, "how can I find this normal and want more of, when it is so wrong?". TL continues to blow our minds with these stories and I hope we see them down the road somewhere. Maybe we will get a story on Raven (Samara's sister).
Anton is the devil who enjoys the killing and torture of others. He is a playboy and boy does he leave us panting with his intense passion. He is not one to settle down like the other boys did or will he?
Meet Samara (AKA Sam) and his game changer. She puts on a good front just like Anton, her life is not easy and supporting her sister is her priority. She does what it takes to survive even if that means stripping to make it. She may not enjoy this, but it pays her bills and keeps her sister in school. The moment these two meet there is a spark. Three times is what Anton says with her than he is done. That is funny in itself. These two are hilarious together with the banter these give each other.
We see that two imperfect people continue to dismiss what could be something more struggle with their feelings, let alone when Sam wants no help. No matter how many times Sam dismisses him Anton comes back for more. When they are together it is explosive is all I can say. Not only do you enjoy the banter between Anton and Sam, but we get to laugh at the continuing banter between Death and Anton. That love/hate vibe they give each other is still hilarious. I'm going to miss these boys and the girls (OK men and women) who hooked these men, but I am going to miss their continuing story most of all. It was always nice to see them throughout the stories.
TL does it again and again! No clue how she does it, but she gives us that tortuous story that hooks you and gives you the right amount of passion, gut-wrenching scenes and suspense to keep us hooked to the very end. Oh it doesn't stop there cause you will want more of her characters! If this is your first book by her, you will be grabbing all her other books down the road, trust me. I don't even read the synopsis anymore, "OH, a book is coming out by TL!". It is being read cause you will not be disappointed, you may want to be put in a loony bin for enjoy some twisted stories, but these bad boys steal your heart again and again! Perfect ending to the Bratva Boys, though you will be missed!

What a finale …….

The last book in the series and what a finale……. the Smirnov's are violent ruthless men three have succumbed to the charms of women but Anton remains happily unattached…that is until his playboy existence is threatened by a sexy, smart stripper….there is something about Sam that keeps Anton going back for more..and when trouble shows up he and his brethren are not going to walk away quietly..

This author really knows how to devise intriguing plots with powerful and believable characters …. Anton is really a prize asshole, his misogynistic behavior is unforgivable and yet typically there is something captivating about this bad boy and Sam clearly agrees… Anton is so far out of his comfort zone with his emotional pull towards Sam and I loved hearing his inner discourse trying to reason away why he hasn’t moved on to his next conquest after his first encounter with her…and Sam is my kind of woman determined and willing to sacrifice all for those she loves.. there is intensity and friction in their relationship but also there are so many funny moments which had me smiling…and when Anton and Sam do get down and dirty I defy anybody to say it was anything but completely and utterly kindle meltingly hot

….and as for the four bratva boys their comradeship and humorous interactions add another dimension to the narrative; these are brothers at arms willing to protect even die for each other and the women they call family….I am in love with each and every one of them…although in truth I think they would be somewhat scary to encounter in real life….

I loved everything about this book….my advice is read Dismissed and see for yourself how this compelling series ends…I received an ARC of this book from the author

Why does this series have to end???
I don't want it to end....

I had loved this series from the very first book and have fell deeper in love with each book that is released.

Kazier, Viktor, Death and Anton....4 ruthless guys your really don't want to mess with. They're killers. They're brutal and they couldn't give two shits if they offend you. But offend them or their women and you're in a world of trouble.
We've had Kazier, Death and Viktor. Now it's Anton's turn.

Anton. Sexy as sin and a smart mouth to boot, he may be the joker of the 4 but he's not afraid to take a life. He thrives on his next kill and the blood that will be spilt as a result.
And when it comes to love...not a chance. He loves the pussy but not women. Lust, maybe but that's it.

Until her...
One taste and he's hooked.
Confused.

He's finally met his match.

Samara is a beautiful, strong independent woman who will do anything to see her younger sister reach her dreams...even if that means stripping to pay the bills. Nothing else matters and a relationship is definitely not on the cards.

Until Anton..

He's relentless and cocky and she can't get enough.

I absolutely LOVED Anton and Samara's story. The ups and downs. The heartbreak as well as the laughs, I was completely hooked from beginning to end.
I didn't want it to end. Not where it did.
TL's writing is beautiful and addictive. From the brutal and hard-hitting to the sweet and loving TL makes you feel everything. And you never know what you're going to get.

This book was the perfect way to end this series, and although Death still holds my heart Anton takes second place. I love his cockiness and the bromance he has with Death. But I love his heart.

I'm going to miss these boys.

Congrats T on another amazing release!!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

"To explain what I feel for Anton would be like explaining my love for cupcakes - I don't need them, but I want them."

Not sure how to start. I really really love T.L. Smith's writing style and how she's able to get you inside of those complicated minded characters. And I was really looking forward reading Anton's and Sam's story. But I got a little disappointed. Maybe my expectations were too high, after reading 'Defiance' which was for me the best book of this series.

"She has me fucked, and it happened just as I thought it would. I crashed."

Without saying too much about the story, I can tell you that Sam and Anton are another perfect match. We all know what Anton is like because we met him in all three books before. Sam is kind of new, but she's not only beautiful and independent, she also cares for her sister Raven perfectly. I also fell in love with Raven and I truly hope we will get to read her story some day!
But back to Sam, the feisty heroine who won't holding back saying what she thinks. She is the reason Anton crashed and made him believe in Love like his cousins.
The sexual attraction between Sam and Anton is undeniably hot and their conversations made me smile big times. It's like watching a tennis match.

""Stop igniting my fire," Anton says onto my lips. "Stop lighting the match," I retort back to him."

So, if I enjoyed reading this book, if I enjoyed the whole series and want to read more about the Smirnov Bratva, why only 3.5 stars? I really can't pin point my finger on this one. It's just something I feel or don't feel. Compared to 'Defiance' I missed something. It just wouldn't be fair go give a higher rating in comparison with other books I've rated higher.

In the end I would rate the whole series with well earned 4 stars and highly recommend reading all books. Even though you don't necessarily need to read them in order, I think doing so it makes the reading experience complete.

Okay, anyone else as sad as I am over the fact that this is the last book in the Smirnov Bratva series??? I have loved each book more and more as the series has progressed because we get more in depth and we get to see the characters from the other books. Its just been an amazing ride to be on and one that I highly recommend to anyone who hasn't jumped aboard this adventure. TL has done such a great job creating each and every story.

This book, along with the others, has kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what is going to happen with the threat that was presented, will it cause backlash to the guys, is anyone going to get hurt? No only that but the emotions that this book created was one that kept me completely engrossed. I was laughing, raging, feeling so bad for them, and so much more that there was no putting this book down until it was done.

Not sure about anyone else but I am going to miss the hilarious love/hate relationship between Anton and Death. Talk about so funny stuff. The bromance between the men, the relationships with their women and the action and suspense. This series has it all and I highly recommend it if you haven't checked this series out and for those of you who have and have yet to read this one.

T.L. Smith has done it to me again. She immerses us in a gritty, unforgiving world with a group of men that don’t hesitate to deliver death and destruction as their world dictates. While I devour each word, I embrace these rough characters and want them to find love in their lives which goes against the tough shells they carry. Anton is the playboy with the “one and done” mentality with women. Then Sam crosses his path, the sexy stripper, that won’t leave his mind. Sam is captivated by Anton’s raw strength and confidence which surprises herself. Their night is electric and all-consuming but she doesn’t expect a repeat yet Anton seems to keep turning up her life. As Anton tries to get Sam out of his system, he seems to get more drawn in. Sam is surprised by the attention from Anton but she has another stalker with more ruthless intentions. For all the strength Sam carries, she finds her world shaken. I love Sam’s connection with her sister Ronnie. The relationship Anton and Sam build is surprising and how she is able to connect with Death and Pollie. Once again, I was blown away as I got captivated by the Bratva world and wanted a happily ever after. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

I really enjoyed Anton and Sam's story. Loved how he was instantly drawn to her and he refused to admit his feelings. He kept refusing until almost the end when he knew he couldn't deny it any more. My favorite aspect of the book was how incredibly protective of her he was. He did have a moment that I am still not happy with even though they got their happy ending, mainly because the scene was pointless and really didn't add anything to their story, just made me mad.

I absolutely love the relationship Anton has with Death. Their interactions add the perfect amount of humor and craziness to this story.

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing another book as a catch up to see what everyone is up to. Maybe even have it be just all the guys POV.
