Seems I read these back in 2016. Even re-reading didn't jog any memory of them. These were an ok read but lacking in flow and world building balance. Editing issues and incorrect word placements were annoying. Many a time, I thought to myself, wtf is that word being used there for, and I would need to re-read the last sentence to see if I understood it correctly. Do you know how annoying having to do that multiple times is?
For an MC book, there wasn't much in the way of MC stuff going on. Sure, there were words like brothers and clubs, but it didn't feel like an MC book. They travelled in cars 98% of the time. What self-respecting MC Club uses cars as their first choice of transport? The sex scenes were also uncomfortable at best.
But the actual story had potential was an ok short read. Would have preferred it in one book rather than split into 6, but it is what it is.
I was going to give this series another go by reading Ace's story, but it seems the author has lost interest in continuing.
Well Blaze if finished but I thought when I saw the page count, finally more than 100 pages from this author. I was doing a happy dance. Then my happy dance stops when I finished reading it. It was another short story. The ending was rushed. Just when everything was getting good it's over. It does wrap everything up those two but it's to fast and a easy way out. Bummed 😞!!!
A stunning, steamy ending to Blaze story! It was gratifying to see Blaze stayed strong and didn't cave to pressure. To see his true worth was realized and loyalty to his MC family was unwavering. His love for Heather and hers for him was unshakable, withstanding the test of family turmoil and enemy attacks. A very enjoyable read!
