5 Squeaky Stars!
If you're looking for an epic RomCom from beginning to end THIS IS THE ONE for you! What I wouldn’t do to have a friend like Cassidy, Skye is one lucky chick. When she ventures into the cyber world of online dating we’re introduced to Ben. I love the persistency of this man and think the conversations between both him and Skye are hilarious. You will be gasping in shock as the story unfolds, smiling ear to ear at other times and how can I forget about those knock knock jokes. I’m chuckling to myself now remembering them. Throughout there are memories that I want to reenact after reading this book and now have added them to my bucket list in NYC. The entire story flows so smoothly and my interest was kept consistently. Amazing debut and cannot wait to read more from this new author. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

What a sweet and romantic story Under the Cherry Blossoms was. Amalie Rose mixed the right amount of sweet with fun and anxiety with joy. And to Skye really believed in love but wasn’t sure she could trust a man to love her like she knows she deserves to be loved. The men in her life didn’t do anything to assure her that she was good enough to be loved. She knew that she needed to take a chance but wasn’t sure if her heart could take another hit without totally shattering. Taking the advice of her best friend, she goes on line and creates a profile on an on line dating site figuring she has nothing to lose.
Ben knew that it was time to start living a life that could bring him some kind of real happiness. Tired of the broken-heart syndrome dating scene, he tries his hand at on line dating. He’s not sure if this is for him but he, too, has nothing to lose. Now, if the woman he’s texting will just agree to a face-to-face meeting, he may be able to find his happily-ever-after.
I loved how Amali Rose made Ben such a “guy”, made him himself right from the beginning. There was no hiding the true Ben with his dirty mouth and awful knock, knock jokes. He was human, not a fictional character. He had flaws and a past that could have destroyed both him and his relationship with Skye but, he overcame them. As for Skye, she was written with just the right amount of sassy that a woman would need to put up with Ben. When she hurt, she hurt big … when she was happy, you felt it.
I was extremely happy to have read Under the Cherry Blossoms and look forward to more of this series. I have no idea who she could possibly pair Cassidy with, but he is going to have to be one strong character to deal with her. As for Mason, he needs someone just as bad as Ben did. What I loved most was that there was a clear beginning and end with the cutest epilogue ever. If Amali Rose decided not to continue with this series, I would be disappointed but I’d know that these two wonderful people got their HEA and I couldn’t be happier.

They soon realise that their paths have crossed before. What happens when Ben is put to the test? Can Skylah forgive him or will he be another man that never looks back? Can they both overcome their past and move forward or are the scars to deep? What an amazing debut novella. Ms Rose captures her audience and once you start you’re hooked. This is a real page turner with loads of laughs, sweet romantic moments, dirty talking, explosive chemistry, empathy and heart ache. There was enough building climax without being overly dramatic. The characters were likable and mature. This was a really well balanced story and Ms Rose is definitely a new author to keep an eye out for.

I guess you could say that this is second chance story but with a twist. This is a story about second chances that leads to love
After having a non-existent sex life for far too long, Skylah has decided to dip into the world of online dating and after wading through 99% of the weirdos and guys who like to send dick pics, she eventually finds someone who appears to be somewhat normal – Ben.
Her best friend Cassidy is thrilled that she is finally broadening her horizons from sitting on the sofa at home eating buckets of ice cream to maybe talking to an actual guy. I loved the banter between Skye and Cassidy, the conversations and friendship between these two are hilarious...
‘When you’re old and gray and your tits are hanging by your knees, are you really going to regret the chances you took? Or the ones that you let pass by?’
Initially the conversations with Ben are on the phone via texting and eventually she agrees to meeting him in person. She finds it hard to trust men after her father betrayed that many years ago. However, she is so comfortable around Ben, it's like they knew each other their whole lives. In fact, maybe meeting each other online was fate?
Ben is treading carefully with Skye, there are times when she seems to pull back and withdraw but he is really sweet an patient with her. The connection they have is not something he wants to pass by. She is not the kind of girl you one night stand with, she is more than that and he wants to wait for her to be ready to open all of herself to him.
Skye is confused by her feelings for Ben, she has an itch that needs scratching and she knows he could do that for her. She feels something different with him too but exploring it makes her nervous because it means taking risks with her heart.
‘You need to take chances though. Risk your heart a little bit. The payoff could be so incredible.’
Ben is able to slowly get Skye to open up to him more via texting. It seems she is more confident being flirtatious in messages than she is in person and before to long these two are head over heels in love with each other.
Ben has his own past demons which he keeps stored away and when something happens with Skye that blind sides him his reaction surprises even him. He realises that they both have trust issues and unless they can learn to trust in each other there will be no more kisses under the Cherry Blossoms.

Amali Rose's debut novella Under the Cherry blossoms was great. She didn't dissapoint, the book and characters flowed perfectly.
This is a RomCom so if you want a great laugh this book is for you. Its not all sweet and happy.
They both meet on an online dating site and their connection through cyber space is potent.
The main Characters Skylah and Ben both have issues from their pasts that they need to work through.
Unfortunately secrets from Ben's past aare exposed.
Can Skylah forgive him or will be the end ???
I look forward to reading more from Amali Rose

This is Amali's debut novel and it is amazing.
If you are looking for a romance with all the feels then this is the book for you. Skye and Ben meet online and have the most intense connection, however, Skye is not ready to ever meet the man since even though she believes in true love, she just doesn't think it is for her. Ben is persistent and does not give up, he pushes until they meet and then never wants to let her go. There is so much happiness, love, laughter, and heartbreak in this book, the romance is just something that many women will be trying to convince their men to do to. I laughed and cried and the way that Ben doesn't give up, makes me swoon on a whole nother level. With all good romance books, there is either chocolate or ice cream that will be needed, so make sure to stock up. I look forward to reading more by this amazing new author soon.

As of late I have read some dark and twisted reads, so when the debut novel for Amali Rose fell into my kindle I wasn't sure what to expect.
What I did get was a beautifully written, light-hearted, sweet, funny and delightful read that I couldn't put down.
We meet both Ben and Skylah.
Both very independent, both very much single, and something very much in common.
Battle scars from their pasts have dictated their presents.
Relationships for them both are something that they will no longer consider.
A one nighter yes, a long term thing, not a hope.

Every now and then you read a book that lifts your heart. That's what Under The Cherry Blossoms by Debut Author Amali Rose did for me.
This book is so beautifully written, it will engage you yet comfort you. Under The Cherry Blossoms is Skye and Bens story and it's not without a slight twist. This is about 2 people that have lucked out in the love department and take a punt at Online Dating....
What you get next is a Rom Com that will make you laugh out loud and next minute tug at the heart strings. Both of these qualities is what I connected with the most, I love a good book that will get me right in the heart and this certainly delivered.
For a debut novel Amali certainly nailed it, it's beautiful, refreshing, steamy and enchanting with a side of angst. It's also about taking a chance at a possible happiness..... you will need to read it to see how it ends.
I completely recommend entering the world of Ben and Skye it will leave you feeling light about love and life.

I'm normally a high drama, darker, and angstier the better type of reader, so did my best to leave all my preconceptions and judgements at the door in reading this book.
Amali has written a lovely, sweet, heart warming story of second chance love, for two people whose experience with love and trust had not had a solid foundation in their young lives.
The plot is solid, the characters are well developed, and their chemistry is honest and easy, and I really enjoyed the plot twist revealed about the characters pasts, and the humour interlaced in their communication, it's a comfortable and easy book to read, but for me, I felt like I was waiting for more to happen.
This is an admirable debut by this author, and I look forward to her future offerings!

Under The Cherry Blossoms is a sexy little Rom-Com which gave me all the feels.
Both Skylah and Ben have been unlucky in the dating and romance department. So try there luck at online dating not thinking anything serious would come off it. They most definitely didn't expect to fall so hard and fast for each other. And with an unexpected twist it had these two characters having more than just amazing chemistry they shared a love destined for each other.
I really enjoyed this debut novella from Amali Rose and look forward to see what comes next.

I voluntarily accepted an ARC of this book here is my honest review

An excellent debut from a brand new author. The characters were relatable, fun and well-written. It had a captivatingly sweet story and a touch of heat just to spice it up. The jokes were achingly bad but it worked so well!
I loved the relationship between Skye and Ben, their connection both emotional and physical, the banter and the pasts that made them who they were. I adored Cass, the protective bestie that always had Skye's back but also encouraged her to branch out a little.
Some parts left me chuckling and others left me slightly blurry eyed. Not the smoothest ride to the HEA but what love is? This was smooth, well-written and a sweet little romance that gripped me to the end.
Very interested to see what this promising author Amali Rose writes next!

I Voluntarily Reviewed an Avanced Reader Copy of this book!
This was a new read for me by this author. This appears to be her debut novel and she knocked it out of the ballpark. It had all the great elements of a true love story. Short or not, it was beautiful.
Skylah has been in a slump of the personal lind that involves her lady bits. She's in need of a relief and online dating becomes her go to solution. As long as she doesn't receive naughty ugly pics, she's down to try it. However, meeting Ben McKinnion was not what she expected. Love or falling in love is not even on her radar. Ben, the sexy, sweet talking charmer with funny jokes, takes her by suprise. It takes her a good 4 weeks to finally meet in person amd when it finally happens, its beyond her realm of possibilities. These two share more than exciting chemistry. They share a story that only these two can define as fate and Destiny.

I gave this book 4.5 stars!!!
For a debut book this was one of the best I have read in a long time. The words flowed easily, the characters were well thought out and the storyline had me hooked. From the first page to the last I couldn't put it down and I simply devoured it in a couple of hours. I love Ben and Skye. I love how the author intertwined their lives and made them into a more real couple. I love Cassie, we all need a friend like her. I love how she would just spew stuff out of her mouth and I caught myself laughing at her antics. The emotions that the characters went through was just like you were going through them.
Skye believed in true love...once. That is until her dad left her mom and her. Years later she is still single and isn't wanting to fall in love....but she does have an itch that needs scratching!!! This debut novel is a must read! I absolutely loved this story and look forward to any future releases.
Ben’s a successful man who goes on an app to find love. He’s been burned before, so he has his own baggage.
She’s sweet but reserved. She comes from a broken home that left her with reservations regarding relationships and love. But Ben could be a game changer!

Hello Everyone! So, just wanted to give my review of Under the Cherry Blossoms by Amali Rose. I believe this is her debut novel. If i'm wrong my apologies I should have known that. Anyways, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Being a proud nerdy nerd myself I found the character of Skylah thoroughly enjoyable. This was a fast read for me and wanted more out of some of the characters, but i guess that would make the book to long. Anyways, I digress, I would recommend this book if you like sweet, yet smutty. Actually, i kinda wanted more smut. LOL Anyways, I found a new 1-click author and I hope to see more of her books soon (no pressure).

I absolutely loved this debut novel by Amali Rose. The story was sweet, perfectly blended, and the characters are so relatable and loveable.
You meet Skye and Ben. They met online and have been talking regularly for a while when Ben finally sets it up for them to meet in person. They are cute in their awkwardness when they first meet but then the ice breaks and they fall into their normal selves. The banter and interactions between them are sweet and at times outright hilarious. Ben is a jokester and you can't help but laugh at his corny knock knock jokes. Cassidy, Skye's best friend, is hilarious and holds nothing back. You can't help but love her and want a friend just like her that will push you or cheer you up when needed.
As they fall for each other you wonder if they will be able to help each other get past painful events from their pasts and find the love they both want and deserve.
This was a sweet, heart-warming story that had it all, even some small twists that had you on the edge of your seat. I melted, laughed, & cried while reading this book and loved every second. I'm looking forward to seeing what else this author has in store.

Skye believes that every one should have a happy ending but her. She had is kinda of rough with a cheating father and other stuff. So she goes on a dating site and starts talking to Ben and they hit it off. He wants to meet and she is hesitate to do so. As things progress they find out that they knew each other back in high school.when things heat up will they both stand the test with their past looming or will they fall under with their past hurts. It an amazing sweet funny and emotional read. It's an excellent debut and can't wait to read more.

Under The Cherry Blossom is the debut novel by new comer Amali Rose and all I can say is wow. I absolutely loved it. This book was incredibly sweet, sexy and well written with characters you couldn't help but fall in love with. Skye meets Ben when she decides to join an online dating site and they have an instant connection. They been messaging back and forth for about a month before Ben finally convinces her to go on a date with him. And what a swoon worthy date it was, because Ben realizes he never wants to lose Skye. Of course with every new relationship there is good moments as well as bad especially when having to share your past heartache with each other. But is their new love strong enough to overcome all the obstacles that get thrown they way??

This is such a great read, if you’re looking for a RomCom, add this to your list. The relationship between Skye and Ben gets off to a great start and Skye’s best friend Cassidy will bring a smile in any situation. This story does a great job with constant smiles and it has plenty of heartstring plucking moments. Both main characters have been hurt in their past, and as flawlessly as these two seem to click, they experience the hesitations that come from scarred hearts and really connected with this reader.
There were moments that my heart skipped a beat, dropped, and came up for air by some of the twists the author threw in. It also does not lack in heart pumping moments. Looking forward to reading more works by this author.

If you enjoy a heart warming romcom then this is definitely a must read.
Not only are Ben and Skye, relatable character, Skye's best friend is a laugh a minute with her hilarious one liners.

For starters if you like romance and you like a romcom then this book is definitely for you!
This book is funny, it’s sweet and it’s a heartfelt, make you feel good romance story of Skye and Ben.
When Skye meets Ben through online dating she thinks he’s going to be the same normal clinger and when he doesn’t show her a pic of his manhood she thinks he must be worth a try....
This does have a twist too, the tiniest bit of angst but that’s all, does the guy get the girl...well, you’ll have to read on November 2nd when it releases. I do love a sweet romance being an old romantic at heart. Lol!
This is so well written you would hardly believe it was a debut but Amali Rose sucks you into the moment and keeps you entertained all the way through. I also love the secondary characters too. I can’t wait for Cassidys book!!

I gave this book 4.5 stars!!!
For a debut book this was one of the best I have read in a long time. The words flowed easily, the characters were well thought out and the storyline had me hooked. From the first page to the last I couldn't put it down and I simply devoured it in a couple of hours. I love Ben and Skye. I love how the author intertwined their lives and made them into a more real couple. I love Cassie, we all need a friend like her. I love how she would just spew stuff out of her mouth and I caught myself laughing at her antics. The emotions that the characters went through was just like you were going through them.
Skye believed in true love...once. That is until her dad left her mom and her. Years later she is still single and isn't wanting to fall in love....but she does have an itch that needs scratching!!! Her best friend convinces her to do online dating. That is where she meets Ben. They have texted but haven't met yet. What happens when these two meet? Can Skye believe in love again, and what about Ben and his past?
I can't wait to see if we get Cassie story!!!!

Skye has given up on love, after her dad up and left her and her mom without a second glance it’s stuck with her, it’s dirtied her look in love.
Ben doesn’t want a relationship, after what his ex put him through he’s scarred forever. Never wanting to put himself through that again he finds it hard to trust.
After a decision being made to go on a dating app Skye has no idea how her life is about to change.
Watching these two interact from the first meeting to the last page has been fun. They’re super cute together and scorching in the bedroom. He has a dirty mouth and she loves it.
Oh and let’s not forget her best friend Cass, the way that woman made me laugh multiple times was fab, I loved it.
I truly wish there had been more, it would have made this little beauty that little bit better.

WOW I really can't believe this is a debut novel and was so honoured to read it. I didn't read the blurb, so was unsure what to expect. The outcome is I'm absolutely in love with this book and was gutted when it to ended. (Definitely in need of a sequel)
This book has loads of emotion. Loss, sadness, anger, jealousy, betrayal, laughter, lust, love, hot dominant sex and an a hilarious sense of humour.
Skylah's parents divorced when she was a teen and love isn't something she has faith in. So she isn't looking for love, she's looking to get laid, so with the not so gentle approach of her bff (Cassidy) she joins a dating site. Enters Ben pops up but she's cautious. They chat for weeks, meet and something feels so right with him. In fact he's perfect sexy as sin, funny, wears his heart on his sleeve and a bad boy in the bedroom. Hearts get involved, but their road ahead isn't all smooth, their love will be put to the test and with their past insecurities it could it be the end of the road for them?

Sweet second chance romance. Ben is romantic and thoughtful, Skye is holding herself back from anything too serious. Its a quick fun read, and the best character is Cassidy, the quirky, outspoken best friend.

If you love Romance and comedy this is the book for you. Skye is so lucky to have a friend like a Cassidy and her mouth lol. Skye and Ben start this online relationship and finally he’s able to get her to go out on a date. They do everything together and get to know one an another til they come up to this one place that they both have memories. When he mentions something about that place and it’s memories and she finishes his sentence, right then and there they find out.... dun dun dun... you wouldn’t think I’d finish saying what happens lol ...
I love the relationship they both have when it came to one an another’s family and friends.
I can’t wait to read more books by this new author :)
