The story starts hundreds of years ago with Ayla who lives in a small village with her drunk of a father, wanting a better life and not to struggle but most of all someone to rescue her from how she is living. Balor has chosen her a pure virgin to be his vessel he needs to produce his offspring, Shane is conceived through lies and his mother could never love him once she knew the truth. There is so much that happens from the start you get sucked right in literally and really can't put it down, full of magic, power, evil, duty and underworld you will be drawn to the characters who all play their parts in Shane's life brilliantly. Shane the Demon Hunter, hunted by his father and the seven siblings, Shane keeps the innocent safe unknown to them because in their world they have Hellhounds, demons, pixies, Nephilim, shifters, Angels waging a war between themselves in Hell and on earth. The journey forces him to face his inner Demon and embrace it and his DNA to overcome the obstacles set in his way. This is an amazing book to read and will certainly keep you guessing which way things are going to go and how it will all end.......... it doesn't, Brilliant.

Right I review without spoilers is going be hard to write as this book is full of surprises and twists that’s will have your head spinning, it starts of in full swing grabs you and catapults you into the story and doesn’t let you go. Even leaves you yearning for more when the book is complete. Its starts in a little village, hundreds of years ago with a girl struggling wanting someone to rescue her from the hell she is living, he appears in the form of a demon, unknowing to her, he has chosen her to be his vessel and so the story of Shane is started, conceived in deception and lies his mother’s love is never given , or will it be after centuries of torment, he is raised by a magical man drawing on his knowledge of the druids teaching Shane to be the Demon Hunter, hunted by his father and the brothers he never knew.
Shane has Morales he lives by ensure the safety of the innocent. This leads him on an unexpected journey involving Hellhounds, demons, pixies, shifters, Angels, and a war in Hell, and on earth fighting the Nephilim. The journey forces him to face his inner Demon and embrace it and his DNA to overcome the obstacles set in his way.
What an amazing book this is and certainly will keep you guessing, with lots of hot sex scenes, love abound, fighting for their lives, and the right to live a happy life, ensuring this book once started is hard to put down, certainly one for the To be read list.

5 Steamy Scary Stars

To tell you the truth I was Captivated and Energized by "Shane". (Demon Hunters Book 1)

The story kept me fascinated yet it also was sexy and spooky as heck if you really imagine the total picture. Hellhounds are just plain scary too.

Shane's journey, while trying to keep innocents safe, turns into a story so engaging you will be glued to it.

Exciting, Sensual,Tension filled with a touch of funny!

Loved this book! All the parts of Melissa Bell and J. Thiele's books you know and love - hot and steamy but with a conscience! Loads of characters in this one, so probably should read it slowly to keep track, but they are full-bodied and well-rounded and all interesting in their own right. An extremely interesting take on good vs evil that will keep you reading right through to the end, and leave you wanting more. These authors are great storytellers. Once again, a terrific read!
