Girl power.
I never expected Anika to be such a great Alpha herself and of course a warrioress.
Loved Dak.
Loved the fist-fight between Marlix and Urazi.
And I definitely loved Marlix. He was such a naughty boy in the end.
Very satisfying book.
The book and the series all together had an excellent happy ending.

Warrior is book 3 in the Breeder series and was another great story. I loved Anika, she was definitely a warrior. I loved how she was determined to live the life she wanted and not the one that was forced upon her. As I've said in my reviews of the two prior books this planet they live on woman are treated as low as cattle. They are used strictly for breeding and as vessels for sexual release and its always against their will. Urazi was amazing too. Although his relationship was different from other Alpha and Betas and he was more of an equal to Marlik I loved how in his heart he also longed for more. As strange as it was to the both of them Urazi and Anika start of as friends which is completely unheard of. I love how they progressed to lovers and how Urazi actually started to treat Anika as an equal. The ending is wrapped up really nicely and I hope this author adds more stories to this new world they live in now.

I was on the fence about this one. I really liked Urazi in Terran, but I’m not a huge Anika fan. I hold a grudge and am TEAM Omra all the way….and I thought the way Anika lured her to be captured because they abused her feet, was pretty shitty. Also, she’s the one that took Tara out of the Enclave and caused all those issues…but that’s just me. 😊
This one has a totally different feel than the other two. It’s low on romance, heavy on action. Most of the plot surrounds Anika on her journey of finding her way and deciding her future. Anika and Urazi are off on their own journey away from the others the majority of the book. New adventures with some new characters.
Bottom Line- As a romance, this is a dud. The match-up was already a tough sell because she was just in LOVE with Jergan a couple months back. (RIP) Unfortunately, there’s not much page-time dedicated to developing their relationship, so you’ll just have to go with it. BUT… as an “I am woman hear me roar” adventure; it’s solid. It’ll really depend on what you’re in the mood for. Overall, not bad. Anika grew on me a smidge, but I thought her hang-ups on baby coddling was BS. Why can't women be strong and kick ass, and still coo at babies?? 😜 There’s an epilogue one year later that gives us couple updates post-war.

A FEMALE AGAINST THE WORLD
I am always enthralled by the Sci-fi stories that Ms. Cara Bristol spins. She has a knack for describing the planets, the inhabitants, animals, customs, and mannerisms that allow the reader to envision it all. The inhabitants of Parseon are larger than Terra and have divided the area into five main government areas, each with a High Commander. Within the various commanders, the adage about keeping your friends close and your enemies closer are prevalent.
On Parseon, it is a man’s world, and women are property, used for breeding, preferably to produce sons for Alphas and can be discarded when the Alpha is done with them. There are no marriages, as on Terra, but instead, an Alpha male will have a male beta partner, and they enter into a anointed union. If the Alpha wishes to procreate, he will buy a breeder slave for that purpose. A breeder is also under the authority of the beta, where he is free to use her anally for his pleasure.
While the planet Parseon is under the order of Protocol, war has become an issue, with Commanders Qalin and Artom trying to take control of the sectors of Commanders Dak, Marlix, and Illian. Marlix has made arrangements for his sires female, Anika, to become the breeder of Ilian. As a female, a breeder, she has no say or control over the matter. Anika has defied protocol already by being with a beta, Jernigan, and living at the Enclave; she is determined she will make her own way again.
The plot will have Anika, with the help of Tara, leave Marlix compound and attempt to live on her own. She will encounter many obstacles, especially in the form of men who take what they want or attempt to. Uriza was beta and shared an anointed bond with Marlix, but they did not engage in the practice deemed by Protocol of a sexual relationship. It was also acceptable for them to hire a female and use her anally for their pleasure. Only an Alpha is allowed to procreate with a breeder female, to produce offspring. When Anika flees, Uriza wants to go after her, especially when he learns that the enemy has a bounty on any of the Commanders or their household. When Marlix refuses his request, it will cause Uriza also to go rouge, and this will become their story.
The tale is full of the trials, hardships, dangers, and unpleasant atrocities of the war, the status of women, betas, and alphas. Both Anika and Uriza will be forced to take drastic measures to stay alive and head of danger. “The forbidden love they share becomes the biggest danger of all.” “Why could they not have the liberty to choose whomever they desired? Why was it considered perverse?”
For Anika, she knows that she must disguise herself, and changing her hair short like an Alpha, wearing colored contacts, binding her breast, and donning an Alpha’s clothing allows her freedom to move about. “The best place to hide was under the searcher’s nose.” Together, Anika and Uriza know that the only way to help save the people of Parseon, is to topple Qalin, and they will have the most unlikely help in the end. “If we didn’t have misfortune, we wouldn’t have any fortune.”
In the end, it isn’t whether you are born male or female, prove to be Alpha or beta, it is that you have a desire for what is right and wrong. That each person is an individual and should not be judged by the sex they were born, or status in training, but by their worth as an individual. Anika may have been born a female, sent to a breeder facility, abused by men, but she proved she was a fighter for herself, for other women, and for the future of Parseon. Rules sometimes must be broken for the greater good and a forbidden love is the greatest motive and reward.

I had really enjoyed the other books in the "Breeder" series, and I'm happy that "Warrior" turned out to be just as good as the first two.
We met both Anika and Urazi in "Terran." Anika's brother Marlix has promised her to another Alpha as a breeder, but Anika wants no part of that life, so she runs away -- determined to make her own way in a very hostile Parseon world. Urazi, Marlix's beta, fears for her life, so he pursues her, even though he knows that as a beta, he has no claim on her. He soon tracks her down, but they're forced to disguise themselves as enemy Alphas to escape detection.
And it's while they're in disguise that they discover who they really are, and that their destinies are not a fixed path. The challenges they face begin a process of great change for both of them -- leaving behind their dependent and subservient roles. It's great to see Anika become so confident in her abilities and her choices. And it's wonderful to read along as Urazi learns to appreciate the new woman she's becoming, while he's growing into a strong and assured Alpha.
It's a great story. There's plenty of action and suspense to move the plot along, and plenty of hot sex to move Anika's and Urazi's relationship along as well.

This is my least favourite of the series. Its not as romantic as the others. Its more about Anika proving she is a competent woman. I did really enjoy that aspect of it as well. Omra and Tara were more of push overs than Anika. I liked that Anika was the first to question a man's right to punish a woman. I am pretty sure that Dak and Malik still spank their women. I doubt Anika will let Urazi do that anymore. It would have been a nice step for someone to have said that Anika was an Alpha or something alone those lines. Something to prove that women are equal to men. Although Parseon has made great progress and that is great.

Wow! I am still thinking about this book. I was on the edge of my seat for most of this ride. I worried for Anika. I worried for Urazi. I worried for Parseon!
There were so many delicious VILLAINS in this last of the Breeder series that I worried for EVERYONE. Alpha Commander Qalin was absolutely the worst…in the best kind of way.
I loved getting to meet more of the aliens and delve even deeper into the alien culture and fauna of Parseon.
Still happy to be a Terran, but Anika, Omra and Tara can visit anytime.

The third and final story was one that piqued my curiosity since both hero and heroine were known to me in the earlier books. Plus, the civil war on Parseon between ideologies definitely has my vested interest. It was a great showdown in more ways than one.
Yes, as I noted, earlier, Warrior is the third book in the exciting and passionate domestic discipline sci-fi Breeder series. It relies on the reader's knowledge of the Breeder universe not to mention it is the culmination of what the earlier two stories were building toward so not a good candidate for standalone or out of order.
Anika, a Parseon breeder, has led an interesting life and wishes to continue along a path she has been blazing. She wants freedom above all things even when it doesn't make sense or isn't safe. This was her quest to achieve it. Urazi a great Alpha Commander's former beta and now at loose ends, is at a fork in the road, too. He quietly and steadily is headed in the same direction as Anika. She blazes a trail with a 'come hell or high water' attitude and gets into trouble each move she makes with Urazi coming along to get her unstuck even while she pulls him along in her wake.
This was a ticklish book for me. I enjoyed it. I really did. Urazi is a character that I found fascinating. He was deemed a beta classification and he is honorable, dutiful, and has a quiet strength and wisdom that others do not have. I loved getting his story and how he shows the value of a strong beta. Now, Anika... eh. She was doing what she could- fumbling and bumbling her way through mistakes and mishaps toward her goal like an overgrown puppy. I was cheering for her while at the same time; I shook my head because daring-do is alright, but it only worked because she did have a reluctant partner in Urazi. He loves her and wants her and he does tend to stifle her when he only wants to keep her safe, but she gives him no reason to think she deserves to take pointman on their excursions. So... I don't know. Mixed feelings about Anika, I guess.
The romance was already a given since this pair are known and attracted already. It was a matter of learning to value and respect other things about each other, learn their own strengths and value what each brought to a relationship and their adventure journey to help bring down the Alphas who wished to continue the oppression and take over the planet. That portion of the book was exciting and tense. Loved how the author wound out the difficulties and breath-taking situations. Things got pretty dire a few times and I loved it.
The development of story and characters is what drew me in the first place and what continued to make this a great book/series for me.
Ha! And I suspected Marlix's motives all along and loved that final scene between him and Urazi.
Things wrapped up neatly and I enjoyed the epilogue which ended the series on a high note.
While, Warrior was possibly the least shocking of the three when it came to the way the females are treated, there is still plenty to make someone be cautious if an abusive culture toward women or even the dynamics of a Domestic Discipline relationship are not their thing. But for those who are intrigued, this is a good choice if a sci-fi DD mash-up is something you would enjoy.
So, in summary, a well-developed world, cast, and plot that I can heartily recommend to sci-fi erotic romance lovers.

I liked that Anika was strong willed and not willing to accept her place as a lowly female. She strove to become independent and was able to gain Urazi's trust and love.

Cara Bristol’s Warrior, the third book in her Breeder series, was an action-packed science fiction romance novel that kept me on the edge of my seat. I was drawn in immediately by Anika’s plight when she learns she’s to become Commander Illian’s breeder. Though she’s a female and has no rights under Parseon law, she wants the freedom to carve her own path in life, and her feelings for her Alpha’s beta, Urazi, only complicate her situation. I really admired Anika’s determination and strength throughout the book, and how her feelings for Urazi evolve as they fight side by side.
Urazi knows what he wants—Anika—but he cannot violate Protocol or disobey his Alpha, so he initially accepts Anika’s fate as Commander Illian’s breeder. However when Anika flees Marlix’s abode and her life is in peril, Urazi runs after her, the consequences be damned. He gradually starts treating Anika as more his equal, and though he does try to bend her to his will and spanks her for disobedience, he’s never cruel to her and he shows her affection during their weeks together in the middle of war-torn Parseon. Through circumstances and his own questioning of Protocol, he transforms from beta to alpha, and these changes aren’t lost on Anika.
The odds seemed to be stacked not only against Anika and Urazi’s future together, but also the future of Parseon because of the ruthless Commander Qalin’s determination to rule over all five provinces of the planet. The last few chapters of this book are especially tense and I couldn’t put the book down! It was also a nice treat to find out what Omra and Dak (from Breeder) and Tara and Marlix (from Terran) were up to, especially at the end of the novel. Warrior was a highly enjoyable, thrilling sci fi romance that was a great conclusion to the Breeder series.

I absolutely loved this book so much! It was a fantastic way to end a series.
The whole series was awesome, but this last book was by far, my favorite. It was packed with great action, scary scenes and evil beings, science fiction, wonderful romance, and a fantastic plot filled with great, engaging characters.
Anika was my favorite! As a female of Parseon, to have her "feminist'y" views showcased through her adventures, made for an even better story!
I adored her for her bravery and loved her for her kind heart.
Urazi was wonderful as a courageous alpha, who fought for his woman and his country, even though his status was that of beta. But what made me truly fall in love with him, was his decision to not kill, frivolously.
I guess that made a big deal to me.
Qalin was the perfect bad guy - I hated everything about him. There was no confusing subplot to make me try to rethink my dislike for the bad guy. He was evil through and through.
I loved the secondary characters also, and liked revisiting some of the main characters from the previous books.
The book was very well done, and so thoroughly entertaining.
I loved it, and am sad to see the series end. That's the same way I felt about Harry Potter. ;)

I loved it, and am sad to see the series end. That's the same way I felt about Harry Potter. ;)

The conclusion to this fabulous series is so completely satisfying. I’ve been waiting for this one, needing to know how Anika and Urazi deal with Qalin and Ilian and everything else that’s going on in this interesting world, but I was nervous too.
Their world is in the middle of a war that can change everything. The realities of that can be devastating. There’s a lot at stake and Warrior delivers it all in a thrilling ride.
Like the others in this series, my highlighting tool got its workout. There’s some fabulous intriguing banter between Anika and Urazi. There’s burning passion too and that ending, loved it! I simply couldn’t read fast enough.
I’m definitely rooting for the spin-off series. I’d love to get to know the kids of these characters. Until then, this whole series is a must read.

This book brought the story of Parseon to a satisfying conclusion (although I personally would love to read a book about Perce!) which I did enjoy. Unfortunately, this particular couple did not have the heat/chemistry that the other two books in the series did. To me it was the least erotic, and I'm not really certain why - it just didn't work as well for me.
Despite that, I liked Anika and Urazi as characters. I enjoyed the way Anika discovered the difference between perception and reality and the manner in which Urazi validated her strength at the end. They were both worthy of one another and the HEA they are given.
Overall a very enjoyable story to end an exciting trilogy. The good guys get their reward and the bad guys (and - wow! - are these bad guys ever really, really bad!) get their comeuppance - what could be better than that?

Great conclusion to this series! I'm sad to see it go! Anika and Urazi went through some crazy things! Although she didn't think things over very well, I admire Anika's strength and determination. She is the perfect person to get the women to adapt through the new protocol. I loved Urazi and didn't like him thinking less of himself! Maybe Bristol can write another a few years down the road with new protocol and the offspring of the charaters all grown up.

Ok, I have to say this turned out to be my favorite of the three.
*spoilers if you haven't read book 1 or 2.
So the planet is at war over a protocol change. It's a hierarchy system where a woman is ranked below animals. They are used as breeders for the alphas and the backhole as release for the betas, they are not educated and are treated very poorly. (that is an understatement) Until things change and Alpha falls in love with his breeder (book 1) finding a problem with Protocol and starts the change.
Now onto this book: Anika & Urazi are the main characters in this story. Commander Marlix is Urazis formar Alpha and Anika's brother. He promises Anika to be breeder to another Alpha. Problem? She has fallen in love with Urazi and rather run away and face the unknown dangers of being a lone breeder in a warzone.
Wooohooo it gets interesting after that. Anika has some close calls and even joins a secret rebellion and learns to fight and soon is on the run with a 'warrant' for her capture by the most feared Commander Qalin. Let me tell you this was one story that I couldn't put down after the suspense started. Urazi and Anika's relationship was also a fun thing to explore and develop during all the other life threatening things happening.
Not to miss if you've read the other books and even if you haven't it still was a great story.

This is the third book in the Breeder series by Ms. Bristol. I always loved Anika but this book just made me fall in love with her more. It was so amazing to be able to follow her story through the other two books and then to finally end with her own love story.
Anika is an amazing character and such a strong woman. While Anika is Parseon by birth she has adopted many of the new and radical ideals that were brought over with the Terrans. I was just so impressed with Ms. Bristol’s ability to show how the ideology was shifting throughout her stories and then to basically give Anika, a female, such a pivotal role was amazing.
Urazi is another fascinating character. I think his true strength was lost amid the original gender and role restraints of Protocol. By witnessing Anika’s strength and determination I think it gave him the passion and reason to want to be more than was his societally deemed role.
This is an amazing conclusion to this part of the series but I really hope Ms. Bristol decides to continue telling stories in this world. I have loved watching this world evolve and I can’t wait to see it continue to do so.

I absolutely adore this book! I'm actually torn whether I liked this one or book 2 better. Of course I loved all three to tell you the truth! I really hope that Bristol goes ahead and write the spinoff she mentioned in the back of the book! The world is so rich and has so much more potential there could be times more books! I love this book so much! Of course in the last book we met the hero, and in Book one we me heroine and I honestly loved them both. In the previous books. This one surprised me in a lot of ways but it was pleasant surprises and the plot went in places that were not predictable. Which I always love a good read. For sale is a fantastic writer that has created a rich world with just about everything that is awesome! I can't wait to see more from her, whether it is a series or not!

This was my first Cara Bristol Breeders series book. I only found out at the end that there were others before this one, which speaks clearly of this being a stand alone novel. It is a scifi novel, with new worlds and new languages to learn, one of my favorite pastimes! It is also a romance novel, with heartaches, misunderstandings and miscommunications between the two lovers. Combining two of my favorites extremely well has made me a Cara Bristol fan for certain!
The story has some very hot scenes that are not meant for younger readers but they are tastefully written. I enjoyed my trip to her world and will be returning soon!! Definitely a five fang book!! My only regret was that it wasn't longer!!!

This was such an awesome book that I'm sad that it's the last of the Breeder Series. It can be read as a stand alone but I would recommend that the first and second be read first. There are so many characters in the story that it would be redundant to mention them all, however they all play important roles from Nasty evil bad guys to wonderful strong people. This had everything a good book has, adventure, danger, violence, suspense, romance, spanking and much more. Come join Anika and her friends and foes and see for yourself.

This was the best ending for a series, I would love to read on more about Parseon more characters from that world. Perce would be great to hear more about or the children from the original characters.
World building in this series is vast and I wish there were more books from this series to devour lol. I was and am still so deeply invested in the characters and their lives.
I didn't mind at all that the romance took a backseat for once in favor of a deep and engaging story. More like the breeder series please or more of it please!

This was a nice conclusion to this series. It's a bit rough for the females and lesser males in this world but I was still entertained by the whole dynamic. This book was different than the previous books being it involved a beta and an Alpha's sister. They're both natives so it's interesting to watch how they shuck their societies standards for their feelings for each other. This one was more adventurous than just a romance. It was a nice change of pace.

I am always enthralled by the Sci-fi stories that Ms. Cara Bristol spins. She has a knack for describing the planets, the inhabitants, animals, customs, and mannerisms that allow the reader to envision it all. The inhabitants of Parseon are larger than Terra and have divided the area into five main government areas, each with a High Commander. Within the various commanders, the adage about keeping your friends close and your enemies closer are prevalent.
On Parseon, it is a man’s world, and women are property, used for breeding, preferably to produce sons for Alphas and can be discarded when the Alpha is done with them. There are no marriages, as on Terra, but instead, an Alpha male will have a male beta partner, and they enter into a anointed union. If the Alpha wishes to procreate, he will buy a breeder slave for that purpose. A breeder is also under the authority of the beta, where he is free to use her anally for his pleasure.
While the planet Parseon is under the order of Protocol, war has become an issue, with Commanders Qalin and Artom trying to take control of the sectors of Commanders Dak, Marlix, and Illian. Marlix has made arrangements for his sires female, Anika, to become the breeder of Ilian. As a female, a breeder, she has no say or control over the matter. Anika has defied protocol already by being with a beta, Jernigan, and living at the Enclave; she is determined she will make her own way again.
The plot will have Anika, with the help of Tara, leave Marlix compound and attempt to live on her own. She will encounter many obstacles, especially in the form of men who take what they want or attempt to. Uriza was beta and shared an anointed bond with Marlix, but they did not engage in the practice deemed by Protocol of a sexual relationship. It was also acceptable for them to hire a female and use her anally for their pleasure. Only an Alpha is allowed to procreate with a breeder female, to produce offspring. When Anika flees, Uriza wants to go after her, especially when he learns that the enemy has a bounty on any of the Commanders or their household. When Marlix refuses his request, it will cause Uriza also to go rouge, and this will become their story.
The tale is full of the trials, hardships, dangers, and unpleasant atrocities of the war, the status of women, betas, and alphas. Both Anika and Uriza will be forced to take drastic measures to stay alive and head of danger. “The forbidden love they share becomes the biggest danger of all.” “Why could they not have the liberty to choose whomever they desired? Why was it considered perverse?”
For Anika, she knows that she must disguise herself, and changing her hair short like an Alpha, wearing colored contacts, binding her breast, and donning an Alpha’s clothing allows her freedom to move about. “The best place to hide was under the searcher’s nose.” Together, Anika and Uriza know that the only way to help save the people of Parseon, is to topple Qalin, and they will have the most unlikely help in the end. “If we didn’t have misfortune, we wouldn’t have any fortune.”
In the end, it isn’t whether you are born male or female, prove to be Alpha or beta, it is that you have a desire for what is right and wrong. That each person is an individual and should not be judged by the sex they were born, or status in training, but by their worth as an individual. Anika may have been born a female, sent to a breeder facility, abused by men, but she proved she was a fighter for herself, for other women, and for the future of Parseon. Warrior is book 3 in The Breeder Series and the final book....although I do hope the author will come back to this series. There are more stories to tell here in this exciting and very different world. I loved the first two books of the series and this one was just as Great!
In this series, the characters of Parseon are so well developed! The men, especially the Alpha males, rule the planet as warriors and commanders. The weaker males or betas, become their partners. Many of these males are not well treated. But some of these M/M relationships are anointed like a marriage. Women are considered much like property, i.e. like livestock, and their purpose is to serve as a breeder to the Alpha. They are raised, at home, until a certain age, and then turned over to a Breeder Containment Facilty. When an Alpha wants to have children, he must select and purchase a breeder from the Breeder Containment Facility. Once he has made his selection, and taken her into his household, she is treated as a slave with no rights or considerations. She is used by the Alpha in any sexual way he pleases, although she is primarily to be used for procreation. But he shares her with his beta, as long as the beta does not use her vaginally. In Parseon Protocol, betas are the Alpha's usual sexual partner.
In this book, the main female character is Anika, the sister to one of the five commanders who rule Parseon. While she had been at a containment facility, she had been treated badly. A beta had kind feelings for her and purchased her. By doing this, they had to flee to a camp that acted against the Parseon protocol. But two of the commanders want to root out any who act against protocol, and Anika's savior is killed in Book 2. Now her brother plans to give her, as breeder, to one of the commanders. Having had a taste of freedom, she has ideas of her own and wants to make her own decisions. Anoka is also a little more than attracted to Urazi, her brother's beta. Urazi is attracted to Anika, as well, but will do his duty to his Alpha. So she decides to leave the household to try to make her own way, leaving at a time when war between the five commanders is imminent. Will Urazi go after her and if so, will duty and honor be more important than love?
This book contains dark elements, sexual content and should be read by those 18 and older.

"Just the touch of Anika’s hand on his shoulder ignited a torrent of longing that could never be satisfied."
What a fantastic ending to this amazing series. I've read a lot of books by Cara and this series is absolutely her best! The characters, both main and secondary, are interesting and complete, and the world building is incredible.
Here in this last book we have Anika and Urazi. I liked both of them going in although clearly I didn't know as much about them as I thought. Anika was so strong and brave. For a woman who was raised her entire life in the world she lives in, she amazed me. But, as she stated more than once, the same blood as Marlix's flows in her veins.
I wasn't as suprised with Urazi. He always had the ability in him and he was trained by Marlix. But I was suprised it took him so long to embrace his true self and stand up for what was right.
Watching Urazi and Anika fall in love was actually sweet. Neither of them expected it and in many ways they were both almost innocent as they moved through each stage.
As with the other two books, I felt some things were skipped or merely summarized that should have been shown, but in no way do I feel the story was not complete. I'm a little disappointed Ilian's story was never told. I actually liked him and I feel he also deserved a hea.
I found it interesting that in the notes at the end Cara says she doesn't think she could write a series like it today. I don't believe that's true. She's a very gifted storyteller and I think if she tried, she could do it. I read somewhere that she has considered writing about the next generation of Parseon. I hope it's true and I also hope they are equally as dark, complex and erotic.
On a final note, although Anika and Urazi's story is contained in this book, not reading the prior two books first would be a mistake. It's impossible to really understand the world these characters live in and the events that have lead up to everything that happens in this story. Take the time to read them in order, immerse yourself in Parseon and it's people. It's worth it, I promise.

This book is about Anika, she's a good friend of Omra from book 1 and the sister of Marlix from book 2. In this book she's been told she's to be another alpha's breeder. After having lived at the Enclave and seeing what life can be like for a woman who is given freedom to do as she wishes she's not happy about this decision of which she had no say. She also has feelings for another. She has feelings for Urazi, Marlix's former beta. She knows she can't convince Marlix to change his mind so she runs away. Urazi sets off after her. They find each other and are faced with many dangers but their love for each other grows stronger. Urazi at first has plans to send Anika back to Marlix but as his regard for her grows he realizes that she's his and he won't give her up without a fight. Many adventures happen and they find themselves in Qualin's camp in disguise. Will they be able to escape with their lives? Or will Parseon be ruled by the most evil Alpha there is.
I really liked this book! Finally Anika get's to shine! I loved that she was a badass heroine that wasn't willing to take anything lying down. She questions everything the men in her world say. She doesn't understand why men are superior when women can be just as strong or how alpha's are alpha's and beta's are beta's when Urazi is a beta but clearly has the personality and traits of an Alpha. I love all of Anika's struggles with the guerrilla group she joins, pretending to be a male, the veronians and Qualin. So many scenes were jam packed full of action and bravery from both Anika and Urazi. I love at the end when Urazi fights Marlix to keep her and he agrees that Urazi is good enough for her. If you forget the alien culture part I found this really quite normal for a brother to want his sister's man to be worthy of her and Urazi definitely proves that he's worthy of having Anika as his. I truly enjoyed when we find out that protocol has changed and that the women are being given more freedom. The ladies are teaching other women how to read and defend themselves and children aren't segregated by gender. This is a such a great series and I've very much enjoyed all the books.

Warrior is book 3 in the Breeder series. This book would be best read in order, I don't think it would read well as a standalone, there is a lot of stuff that happens in the first two books that are pertinent to this book. I'd rate this book at 4 stars. Anika is the breeder of a beta, which her brother Alpha Marlix is none too happy with. When he is killed, Anika is mourning, but also helping to care for her brothers Beta, Urazi who was injured at the same time as her Beta was killed. While she helps tend him, she begins to care for him, but when her brother decides she's to marry another, she sneaks out and leaves her brothers dwelling. Urazi can't fathom the thought of Anika being out there by herself with everything going on and he goes after her. Hopefully he can get to her in time before anything bad happens to her.
I've enjoyed this series, but this is my least favorite book in the series. I did enjoy it just not as much as the first two books. I mostly enjoyed the characters, the chemistry, but Anika's personality rubbed me the wrong way. This book is also a lot more intense than the first two books and the author really did a great job with this story and series. This series is completely different than anything I've read previously which I really enjoyed, and this story was no different. I hope that there will be more books in this series, I would like to see Alpha Ilian get his own book. This book is a definite rollercoaster. Hope this helps! Happy Reading!!!
Warrior is book 3 in the Breeder series. This book would be best read in order, I don't think it would read well as a standalone, there is a lot of stuff that happens in the first two books that are pertinent to this book. I'd rate this book at 4 stars. Anika is the breeder of a beta, which her brother Alpha Marlix is none too happy with. When he is killed, Anika is mourning, but also helping to care for her brothers Beta, Urazi who was injured at the same time as her Beta was killed. While she helps tend him, she begins to care for him, but when her brother decides she's to marry another, she sneaks out and leaves her brothers dwelling. Urazi surprised me in a good way. They way he went against everything to protect and love Anika is endearing. I love how he does whatever it takes no matter the costs. This couple is just what you want to swoon off.
I have loved this series and Warrior is my favorite because of the tough as nails heroine and valiant hero. The passion between Anika and Urazi is magnetic and the story is intense. I would highly recommend this exhilarating book.

The third and final book in the Breeder Series. Warrior is my favourite,because Anika fought to prove that just because she is a woman does not mean she is weak or stupid or unable.
This is a book that can be read as a standalone, but you would better enjoy the nuances of this society by having read the previous books and also give an insight into what happened to Anika previously. As her Alpha Commander brother decides for her safety she is to go to another Alpha Commander after the death of her Beta protector, Anika knows she can no longer do this and does the unthinkable in their society and runs, especially after Urazi the Bea she has been seeing secretely gives her up easily according to Protocol.
On her journey she learns a lot about herself, and about the society that have been ruling for so long, however she is not alone and her old lover Urazi has decided he will bring her back, but finds himself on a journey of his own as he realizes that this woman whom he is falling in love with, is more than just a chattel.
As they venture into Qualin's territory, the danger becomes even more real and the fight for survival and a new change becomes even more vital.
Fast paced, filled with action and although less romantic and erotic than the previous books, I found this to be an engaging and entertaining read.
