"We’re caught in the forbidden. And it’s not going to change until I have him sinking so deep inside me, it won’t ever make sense to come out."
A crush doesn't last. Or at least, it shouldn't, especially when it's burning for someone you can't have.
But for Roxy Kent, a vibrant and outgoing drama student, it's more than just about fighting a supposed crush. It's about keeping her thoughts away from the ex-man of the house, while trying to navigate the complications of adulthood. Unfortunately, it's not as easy as it sounds, because he's not just someone you forget.
When a shorter novella dives right into the machinations of a calculating teenager without establishing any motivation...it's hard to root for anyone involved. Such is the case here. Too little character development.
