MINE TO KEEP: Is a standalone romance novel by Janika Snow and is spoken in ‘Dual Perspectives’
The world they once knew has been long lost and buried under a corrupt society where only the rich rule and all the female population are auctioned off.
Otto and Sansa know only what’s within the four walls of their parents cabins, born and raised in them and neither had really experienced life away from their separate homes.
It had been five years since Otto had lost his parents by the hands of a drifter who stumbled on them.
Sansa had been left alone in the world when both her parents died a couple of months ago so with the threat of the ever present government selling her off to the highest bidder it’s with a heavy heart that she leaves the only home that sh knows. Things don’t necessarily go to plan when she gets her foot caught between two rocks and stumbles down the cliff face and knocking herself unconscious.
➼ She was gorgeous, innocent and vulnerable. The man in me wanted to protect her, wanted shield her from the ugliness of the world.
Luckily for her as Otto’s out on a hunting trip he stumbles across her and takes her back to his man cave I mean cabin and heals and claims her as his.
Living under each others feet for weeks on end it doesn’t take them long for the attraction to overtake them. He wants to love and protect her, claim her as his, make her stay, she wants to be owned, loved and cherished.
➼ His stiff dick pressed against my inner thigh, so big and long, hard and massive.
I’m not a fast reader by any means but I read this within an hour, super cute, super hot, he reminded me of a primitive caveman even down to his inner dialogue, which had me cracking up on a few occasions. It was all about claiming the woman, his woman. If you're after a quick, safe, hot smutty fast paced read then look no further than this.

This is my most anticipated novella because HELLO HANDSOME *licks the cover*😍
Otto is the mountain man, living like a caveman and is looking for a woman, his woman, and enter Sansa, running from the civilization away from the corrupted government. Otto found her unconscious and brought her back to his cabin with the intention of breeding. Though unlike jerk alpha male, Otto knew how to take his time and provide the female with food and kept her safe from harm.
This is zero angst, steamy scenes between two virgins. Yeap, you read that right. OTTO IS A VIRGIN HERO. And the fact that he is not handsome just adds the charm. Worry not, he is ALL MAN AND A BIG GIANT 😍
Although, I can't help but noticing how this is so similar to Jennika's Feral. So similar it hurts but oh well......

So damn sweet. These two are in a horrible version of our world, where women are sold to the wealthy for sex slaves and breeding purposes....charming right *winks*. He lives on his own, after his parents died, isolated and camouflaged. She now lives on her own after her parents died too. She's trying to find a safe place to avoid being sold. He ends up finding and saving her. Seriously, these two are just so damn sweet. Loved this storyline.

The idea really got me curious for more action, other than the one between the sheets, but I really shouldn't be complaining since the author didn't promise any other action than the aforementioned one, soo🤷♀️.

In "Mine to Keep" by Jenika Snow, the world as we knew it was no more. It was a barbaric society where the rich ruled the world and the female population was sold to the highest bidder. I enjoyed reading Otto and Sansa's hot story. Otto might not have been rich but he saves Sansa and claimed her as his own!

I really enjoyed this story.
Otto lives in the forest, alone. His parents died five years ago. They left him with the knowledge to survive in the wild. But he longs for a companion and a family.
Sansa, has been hidden from the people who would take her away and auction her for her body.
Her parents have died and she now must flee and survive with the little she could take and headed north.
Otto is out hunting for food when he sees a cloth among the rocks, and goes to investigate it. When sees that the cloth is the clothing of a young woman. My woman!

The world we once knew is long gone. It's now a society where the rich are in charge and females are sold off to the highest bidder. Females end up being slaves, maids, or vessels for reproducing. Otto lives way off the grid high up in the mountains by himself. He did live there with his parents until they were nice enough to take a stranger in who ended up killing them both and then Otto killed him. He's lonely and determined to find a woman for himself. Sansa is now all alone, her parents are dead they kept her a secret so the government wouldn't take her. She packs up her few belongings and heads into the mountains hoping to find a safe place to call home. While walking through the woods she gets her ankle stuck in a rock and she falls and hits her head. Otto is out hunting for food when he sees the beautiful young woman unconscious on the rocks. He takes her back to his cabin so she can heal. This book wasn't bad but a few things really annoyed me about the whole story. Why have kids at all in that shitty world ? What if they had a girl ? How do you get clothes for your kids ? They probably don't have soap of any kind so imagine how bad they must stink.

Sansa vive en un mundo terrible en el que ser mujer es lo peor que le puede pasar. Así que cuando sus padres fallecen ella tiene que escapar si no quiere acabar como el resto de las mujeres. No llega muy lejos cuando se accidenta y termina inconsciente y rescatada por un hombre que parece haber vivido toda su vida aislado en la montaña. Ella debería estar pensando en escapar pero... No es eso lo que siempre ha buscado, una vida apartada de todos?
Ay que alivio por dios... Después del libro anterior necesitaba algo facilito y sin drama en el que poder relajarme porque madre mía 🤦🏻♀️. Como ya os he dicho este libro aunque su base es el drama, no lo tiene, es todo de amor a primera vista y final muy feliz. Lo juro! Jajaja

Another great and sweet story from J. Snow, I was captured from the first 'till the last page... and of course, I fell in love with both Sansa and Otto, the innocent beauty and the pure Alpha as I call them.
It is a fast paced plot, with HEA, very enjoyable dialogues, and sugary yet hot scenes. I absolutely recommend it and looking forward to reading the next lovely story the author is going to create!!

The world in which this read is set in is like a dystopian world. Where women are bought and sold for the main purpose of breeding. To be born a woman in this world is to be born into slavery.
Both Otto and Sansa are living off the grid. Otto lives alone in the mountains but he finds himself wanting more wanting a woman of his own. But not one forced by slavery he wants love and a family to protect.
Sansa has been kept hidden so she wouldn't be taken. But when her parents die she finds herself alone and in need of protection. She just doesn't count on that protection coming from the big scary looking mountain man. That with one look declares her as his!!
If you love a short, hot insta-love story you can't go wrong with a Jenika Snow read.

I was pulled right into this short story. The story has laughs, heat, and inst-love.
This is Sansa and Otto’s story. Otto and Sansa have both lost their parents. They have only ever known a life from inside a cabin. The life they live is lonely but if Sansa goes outside she could be captured and sold to the highest bidder. When Sansa knows she must go outside she takes a fall that has her falling unconscious. When she awakes she is with Otto in his cabin and he informs her that she is his. As he helps her heal they fall for each other. Once she falls hard she knows she wants him in every way. Will he claim her and keep her as his?
I loved these characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I loved these characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I liked the idea of this story. Where the world has changed and people are even more corrupt. Woman are stolen and sold to the rich and everyone that aren't rich much do without. Sansa and Otto were so very similar with their backstory's which made them have such a stronger connection. I also enjoyed the fact that they were each others first. I wish the story was a little longer, because I adored Otto and Sansa. I do hope this will turn into a series as I can see so many different angles for this theme. All in all a good book!

This one was a little different, in that it's set in a world that's described as being dystopian, and our hero is not just off the grid... he's Off The Grid!
There was also the insta-love we come to crave & expect from a short sext novella like this, but the build up to sexy time was quite romantic... in an alpha-rugged-caveman kinda way. Grrr, Arrgh.
An enjoyable read.

Mountain man.
For a short book this was pretty good. I did feel like it could use more details. I wanted to know about her parents. I thought he was pretty rough with her at first as well. I get he's alpha and barbaric but I was expecting more softness. It's a pretty interesting concept to the story. World ending kind of thing. Living off the grid. Pretty good. Happy ending.

Making her way to him
This one is a quick and steamy post-apocalyptic adventure. The author told the tale of a strong woman who survived against all odds and the alpha male who helped her to thrive. The author is one of my favorites when it comes to quick and intense stories where the love is instant and the HEA forever. I’m glad I found this little gem and I can’t wait to see what the author writes next.

Short sweet story. I liked both characters. She was level headed and sweet. He was the strong silent type but very sweet too. Wonderful men always take care of their women. I would recommend this book.

Okay so first let me apologise because I should have done more research into how short this book would actually be so that's on me. I did know it was a short book as it says in the blurb but normally in my eyes they span novella size around 140 - 180 pages but this one wasn't even half that so it left me somewhat disappointed. If I had looked on goodreads I would have saw the author writes extremely short stories so for that I can only apologise.
This book could have been so much more because the plot of the story is very different and is set in a futuristic world. I believe that if thought out a bit more and expanded on this book would have been fantastic, for example - Going into a longer detail and explanation of the time in the future of how this future world was and maybe bringing that little something in and introducing a bit of angst to it. It was quite literally just wham bam thank you mam and then it was over within a few short chapters.
The characters themselves needed more introduction. I didn't find Otto OTT alpha either in fact I found him quite restrained and it was only his inner thoughts that were slightly alpha. Sansa seemed to innocent and weak although to be fair she had been sheltered and kept hidden in a room all her life. There was really no conversation between them either, it was quick inner thoughts. I would have loved to have known more about these characters as a whole.
I am sorry I couldn't give this book the love it probably deserves. I really do think if it was extended (I like a book to have story) rather than just quick sex and 2 epilogue's as well as a lot more dialogue and detail put into it then it could have worked. Despite my opinion though I do think short read lovers will love it. I wish the author the best of luck.
