overall, it's a light and easy read about 6 philosophical theories on well-being noteworthy: 1) Russel's emphasis on rationality-science-world, as opposed to emotion-religion-self 2) Nagel's theory of irony in response to Camus' Myth of Sisyphus 3) Nietzsche's view on "truth as a woman" and overcoming suffering in achieving Ubermensch
