I was not sure if I would like this book depending on how the author addressed Bibical end time events. So far in the series, it seems believable. There are a lot of people today that are storing up food thinking things are going to get bad in the US with lack of food and so forth. I think the author did a good job on how the Lord brought certain people together with the talents that would be needed. She did a good job of showing how God works in peoples lives. I enjoyed seeing the people change as the Lord worked with them. So far, they haven't had much problems, but it is going to come as the Bible says it will. Looking forward to the next book, which I have ordered. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in reading about end times.
Pretty simplistic writing style, but a good read none-the-less. Did have a problem with a few characterizations but overall solid fast read. Kinda like a Left Behind 2.0, but I think LaHaye's characterization was better than Dunn's. We'll see if that improves in later volumes.
