I think Amanda Cross is a powerful character. She finds a tall, handsome shapeshifter that catches her attention. An exciting book with some action and romance and a great new world and a great story line. I enjoyed the book. * I received a free copy of this book and this is my honest review*

Amanda Cross, Kimi Wicker, and their bartender friend Keith had been abducted, tortured, and transported to a hostile world called Lavina where they were saved by Tallyn and a rescue party. Amanda still has nightmares about the ordeal.
Now in this new world, Amanda has fallen in love with Tallyn, the werewolf prince and heir to the crown. Although Tallyn makes Amanda his lifemate, he leaves the decision to her as to whether she will stay with him or not. When his father pressures him to introduce Amanda to the pack or pick another mate, Tallyn asks Calem for his help preparing Amanda for the upcoming trials where she must learn to shift forms and fight for her right to stand beside Tallyn. Calem, who had lost his own mate and daughter, is determined to protect Amanda from enduring that same fate as they had. Will Amanda trust Tallyn enough to remain on Laizahlia with him and be his mate? Will they find that Calem was mistaken about Amanda having a beast within her? Or will she let her fears overcome her and return to Earth?
I liked the supernatural mix of werewolves and vampires that were combined with the sci-fi in this story since both are what I enjoy reading. But I think it was more difficult to get into the story since I had not read the first book yet. The blurb had said it was standalone, but I think it would have been more enjoyable if I had already read Book 1.

Ghost Warrior by Denna Holm is a very imaginative and well written book. I did not read the first book in this series, but never felt like I was missing important information. The plot was very interesting and I was surprised that shifter in outer space actually worked. I actually found the explanation of the origin of shifters in this book very interesting and unique. This book was one of those that is difficult to put down, which is tough since it is on the longer side. The pace is perfect, not too slow to feel like it is dragging out, nor did I ever feel like the author was rushing me through the story. I found that the climax of the story was very fitting.
Amanda is an interesting character. She was definitely weak and timid in the beginning, even though she always talked and acted like she wasn't, quite the contradiction if you ask me. Her words and actions definitely didn't agree with each other. Thankfully throughout the story she did a lot of development and she definitely grew into the person she was meant to be. Tallyn was your typical strong male hero and you couldn't really ask for more in him. I also really enjoyed Calem a lot.
As I said I didn't read the first one and really feel this one can be read just by itself without any problems. I really enjoyed this book a lot and can highly recommend it to others!

I highly recommend you read Warrior Betrayed which is a prequel to this story. It gives you the background you want to really understand the situation.
Amanda has a future she never expected. So many secrets were kept from her and now she has to gain access to her magic or give up the shifter she has grown to love. She has to fight to be his mate.
She has already suffered so much after being kidnapped. Her love for Tallyn gives her hope for a better future.
They really do have great chemistry and you can feel the connection. He wants so much to keep her safe but knows she will have to face challenges to be his mate.
I really enjoy how the author brings in the other characters as well to support her. She has a family now in this new world and they will do anything they can to protect her.

The ghost warrior
As with the first book in this wonderful authors series,this book smashed all my expectations and was even better! Denna Holms takes you on a rollercoaster of a ride, emotionally you will experience the whole gamut. You get so involved with Amanda and Tallyn and Calem ,their journey is filled with epic battles between foes and emotional upheavals when secrets that have been held for many years are revealed. So I looking forward to the next book ,my only down point would be the ending I like a little more of a solid ending but I think the author is building on each book within the series,I do want to know more about each couple as to their own situations.

I don’t usually go for “romance” but I was interested in the blurb. Silly me didn’t realize this was book 2. I haven’t read book 1 and I felt a little lost at first but I got to know the characters pretty quickly. I wouldn’t call it a stand alone book though. Don’t make my mistake. The book is well written and the characters are engaging. The sci-fi/fantasy mixture was done pretty well in my opinion but it probably would have been better if it had been strictly sci-Fi. Final thoughts... read book 1 first then pick up this one. Well worth the read.

I am cross and annoyed. Yes I enjoyed these books but I wish they were numbered so you can actually read them in the correct order to save the head scratching and ruminating as you tried to work out the connections and the characters!
This is the last book in the trilogy and contains the seriously annoying and doubting Amanda who has gone from being the perky modern bolshy woman of the world to this down trodden, self flagellating idiot who made me close the covers of my kindle in disgust.

Mandy and her friends have been shifted tortured and transported to a hostile world. Tallyn brough Mandy new problems he has claimed her as his mate. Mandy asked her friend to stay with her for just for a few months. Mandy doesn't know weather to stay because the Alien world because it looks her world back home . And she thinks she is in love with him anyway I through this book is amazing and I recommend to everyone.

Tallyn has found his true mate in Amanda but his Alpha pack leader father has other plans already set in place for his rebel son. Tallyn and Amanda must weather the obstacles his royal dad puts in their way which includes a battle to the death. Great storyline and an exciting plot that comes with my favorite part. A happy ever after! Nice!

Amanda is still dealing with the trauma of being abducted along with her two friends, by aliens. Thrust into a new world she is in love with Tallyn, a werewolf prince. I was given a copy of this book to review, but didn't realize it was book two until I started reading it. It was an interesting mix of werewolves, vampire and alien worlds. I think sci-fi fans would enjoy it.

Ghost Warrior by Denna Holm is a wonderful story to read. This is book number two in this wonderful series that I have loved reading and I can not wait to see what this author will right about next. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about fantasy, Sci-Fi and paranormal romances.
