The Billionaire's Secret Kiss is a standalone romance with a happy ending. It takes place in the same world as the rest of the books in the Scandals of the Bad Boy Billionaires series and includes many of the characters from the other books. You can read it on its own, everything you need to know is explained, but once you get a taste of the Winters family you'll want to read the others;} Note: The Billionaire's Secret Kiss was previously published in the first edition of the Dark Desires box set. It is currently only available as a single title release.
Ivy Layne has had her nose stuck in a book since she first learned to decipher the English language. Sometime in her early teens, she stumbled across her first Romance, and the die was cast. Though she pretended to pay attention to her creative writing professors, she dreamed of writing steamy romance instead of literary fiction. These days, she’s neck deep in alpha heroes and the smart, sexy women who love them.
Married to her very own alpha hero (who rubs her back after a long day of typing, but also leaves his socks on the floor). Ivy lives in the mountains of North Carolina where she and her other half are having a blast raising two energetic little boys. Aside from her family, Ivy’s greatest loves are coffee and chocolate, preferably together.

2.5 stars rounded up to 3 Not my favourite, gotta admit. Wasn't a fan of Ella, she was too weak for my taste, way too doormaty. And her reason for ending things with Noah when he was in a critical situation was just dumb and that was pretty selfish, frankly speaking.
The time frame was ridiculously short as it all happens over a few days, so that was a bummer. I remember how much I loved Vance and Maggie's story but, surprisingly, I didn't like them in this book. What Vance did to Noah was a major dick move and I didn't understand why he thought he had the right to intervene in Ella's and Noah's life to such a degree.
All in all, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. It was an okay read, perfect for a Sunday evening. The writing style is what makes the whole story flow. I absolutely loooove Ivy Layne and will continue with the series, this book just wasn't my favourite. Now off to book 7 :)
This book is not on one of the Winters siblings however they are in the story and we get to see glimpses of them. I didn’t like Ella and how she didn’t had any backbone where Noah was concerned. I liked the other stories in the series this one was okay for a one time read.
this should have been a 5.1 book, not a 6 because even if the characters interact with the main characters it doesn't mean they should have their own book.
Ella & Noah. Ella is Vance and Maggie's nanny (so we totally needed her story).
Noah and Ella were college sweethearts. Noah went to Cal Tech to finish his degree and afterwards founded his own tech company. He had some IT product (software I think) that made him a billionaire. He was tied up running his company when a former college associate of his sues him for stealing the coding on the product Noah had. He had some stuff that when misinterpreted could be evidence of Noah stealing but he didn't. Noah ended up settling the lawsuit to just make it go away.
While building his business, he and Ella were having a long distance relationship. He didn't show up to her graduation and she went BSC and broke up with him. She didn't feel like she was #1 in his life (I mean he is running a company with a bunch of employees and their families to take care of).
Noah was back in Atlanta. His company was working on a new product but they needed an investor to help fund the remaining testing. He is meeting with Vance and Maggie to invest. He sees Ella and insta-feelings return. Not only was he in town to get the investment but also to get Ella back. There was some borderline stalking and her refusing to get back together even though she still loved him (it was obvious). He's begging for a second chance and when thinking about how selfish she was for not being #1 she decides to try to give it another chance. They sleep together.
He wakes up to find his old "friend" had gone online and was accusing Noah of stealing again with his 2nd product they were working on. Noah has to leave because friendy is planning a protest in front of his office. Before taking off Noah meets with Vance. Vance gives him the investment offer but tells Noah that he can't contact Ella ever again (Vance saw her moping over their relationship and wanted to protect her). Noah declines the offer and decides he'll use his own savings, mortgage his house, and sell some assets to fund the remaining research to get the product to market. He then meets with Ella and tells her that he wants to make them work. He's willing to wait for her to finish her degree and they would do the long-distance thing given that he was rich and could afford to go back and forth more regularly (I mean they needed to each get some booty).
Noah's obsessed former college classmate gets caught using actors for the protest he organized. He was embarrassed and lost his job at the social media company he worked at and just went away. He didn't get his HEA. Noah and Ella did. She visited California and was excited about moving there with Noah after she finished school.
This book was good but just not my favorite in the series. Seemed a little unnecessary and random and not going with all of the other books. It was an A.D.D. "look there goes a chicken" book in the series.

The Billionaire's Secret Kiss, by Ivy Layne is a 176-page contemporary romance novel and is the third book out of a 10-part series (other reviews can be found below). And since this is a 10-part series, you can expect reviews by this author pretty back to back for the next few weeks as I go through the books. It is written from a first-person POV, two-sided.
Ivy Layne is an author who generally writes dirty, dirty sex scenes. So if you're someone who is looking for some dirty read (which there is nothing wrong with that) this is the book for you. I will warn you ahead of time if you are reading this series, this book in particular had A LOT of sex...almost too much for my liking.
Spoilers Ahead ***
Ella and Noah had college love that didn't last. They loved each other then and even after being apart for a number of years they still love each other. Noah has returned from California to Atlanta with two goals in mind:
Get funding for his current business venture
Get Ella back
(not necessarily in this order). Ella works for one of the Winters as a nanny so that's the relationship to the Winters, but I feel cheated because it wasn't actually anyone from the Winters family.
This book was pretty straightforward, college love, inability to balance personal and professional is what split them up, rekindle the flames, fight the person trying to destroy Noah's career.
1.5* I lost interest near the beginning, as it was boring, and the characters are all really unlikeable.
I really didn’t like the characters in this book. I didn’t like Vance and Maggie in their book and in this one they’re Ella’s employers. Great…… 😤All of Ella’s friends have opinions about her and Noah and tell her what to do. If a friend asks for advice, then you give advice but you never ever tell them to not get back together.
Noah and Ella met at college and were madly in love, until Noah left to pursue his business, and forgot about Ella. Ella instead of talking to Noah dumps him, then blames him. A couple of years pass and Noah is meeting with Vance and Maggie as he wants them to invest in his company. He’s also there to get Ella back. There’s a few misunderstandings with their relationship, as Ella punches Noah in the nose, then drags him into bed the next day! Then she backs off two days later. I was getting frigging whiplash from her.
The other major problem with this book, is they all act like teenagers. Especially Vance, who is so unprofessional with Noah it’s crazy. How did we go from the sexy Holden to Noah?? Noah spends half the book thinking about how he can Ella back, instead of focusing on his business.
This was a bit different, instead of the main guy being someone new, it was a past boyfriend. I did enjoy the challenges put before them but I felt the way it was 'resolved' at the end was rushed, very rushed. All of that drama that took place to build up the suspense and then just basically reading it's been taken care, literally it is just 'done'. Not story or play out on scene on how it is taken care of just it is. That to me was a very big let down. Why give it all that attention just to do that? Don't get me wrong I like the happy ending but I enjoy well carried out drama plots too. ;)
** I was able to read this as part of the package - "Dark Desires: A Contemporary Romance Collection" The package is not done as I haven't read all the stories shared in it.
I read this book thinking this was a Winters story; I was disappointed. The way Noah and Ella broke up is not unusual. They were young and at the time Noah got his big opportunity in CA, she decided to stay in Atlanta to finish her degree and she agreed for Noah go after his dream. They lived too far apart for the relationship to work. After 3 years apart they still loved each other, but Ella wanted something Noah could no guarantee, but he wanted them to try again and both communicate more openly. I was happy when Noah turned down the money from Vince and decided to use all of his personal money. Both ended up giving all they could to their relationship.
Noah left Atlanta two years ago to pursue his dream of having his own tech company. He leaves behind his first and best love--Ella--and tries to maintain a long distance relationship. He's so wrapped up in his company that he fails. They break up and he leads a high profile bachelor's life. He's a total idiot. He's lost the best thing that ever happened to him--Ella. Now he's back in Atlanta to get investors for his company's new project, but his main goal is to get his girl back. He hopes.
The story began well enough and I really wanted this to be as good as Ivy Lane's other books. Unfortunately , this felt more like a side storyline rather than the story. There was no tension between the characters and the ending was extremely abrupt. Any issues were minimal and quickly solved.
This wasn't my favourite of all the Billionaire books, but I have been following this family since the very beginning so I feel that regardless of how I feel about the book I just want to know what happens to them all and I want all the happy endings. I love that this is a quick read that I can get done in an evening, a bit like watching the latest instalment of your favourite series.
Ella and Noah meet and started dating in college, he left to California and Ella stood behind, due to circumstances and poor communication they separated. Now two years later he is back in Atlanta to do business and for Ella.
I feel the outcome with phill was rushed, I wished more for him after all he did.
This was a cute story, which I’m hoping exists to set up something in the future of the series. It was a little anti-climatic, but also realistic. Most love stories don’t include kidnapping, mob bosses or murder, even if those things make for great books. Even without those things, it didn’t lack turmoil or suspense. It had drama like all relationships do.
Ella and Noah never stopped loving each other but they drifted apart when Noah moved to California and eventually started his own business. Noah had two goals in mind...Try to get Vance to invest in his company and to win Ella back. He didn't get help from Vance but he did get Ella back.
I was really into this book at the beginning and the drama between the characters was getting to an interesting point when all of the sudden the end was there. Just like that. Don't get me wrong, the story was good but I think it could have been exploited more, especially with the evil character lurking around.
I still love the Winters family. This book seemed to be a throw away that really wasn’t needed. I love Ivy Layne but did not enjoy this one as much as much as the others. I hope she found her way back in the next in this series. Based on the reviews I looked at it appears she did.
The Winters Saga book 2. This is Noah and Ella story. It's a cute read. Neither of them are Winters but they interact with them. It was great seeing other characters from previous books. After a bad break up the two reunite. It's a angsty road to this relationship.
It took me a little while to read this one. It didn't grab me like the rest of the series. Ella is weak. I’m also not big on second chance relationships that took me away a bit from the book. I only decided to read this book, because Wild Hearts isn’t out yet and I don’t want to come away from the characters. It’s good you don’t need Secret Kiss to complete the series.
Noah and Ella broke up two years ago when he became too busy with his company in California while she was attending college in Georgia. He's back for a second chance and she's skeptical. This has ups and downs and some unnecessary drama from her friends' involvement.
This was a quick great read. Noah and Ella aren't part of the extended Winters clan, but they both have some ties to them. I loved the writing, plot and the characters as well as catching up on the Winters. Another fabulous story by Ivy Layne!
This is about Rosie’s nanny - Ella. Such a sweet book that had me with tears in my eyes at one point to laughing out loud at others - especially when trying to feed Rosie. Glad Ella and Noah finally got their second chance. Just wish Philip would have got more of a punishment than he did.
This book is a romance on a very rocky road. The characters are strong, smart, opinionated, loyal, and have a strong love of family. It has a happy ending which I need.
What happens when the love of your pops up at your employer's home, and kisses you breathless? You make him swear to keep it a secret. Love visiting the Winters Saga! It's witty, and sexy, with a little mystery. From a Fan... Pam James.
Noah is charming, and all that Ella has wanted since high-school. They broke up when he was out of state. She was broken up, then he shows up in her employers office, chases her down. This was short and angsty. Love how they are all in the 2nd time around
I don't know who these people are, because they were never mentioned before, so I think this should have been 6.1, not an actual book, but a short addition to the series. Ella was not the strongest woman out there and Noah was just an immature man. I felt no love whatsoever with this relationship.
So Ella and Noah were back together, yah! Now she just has to finish school in Georgia and he will continue his business in California..... I'm sure Vance and Maggie will miss her, almost as much as Rosie.
