I have read many of the books by Geoge Pain and have found him to be a very informative individual. He cranks out a ton of books, and most are super short, but they are all great introductions to whatever topic it is you are reading about. In this case, I wanted to learn more about how to improve my memory. I have a horrible time remembering names sometimes, and some days I can't retain facts as well as others. I haven't been able to pinpoint why some days I seem to bring up things in my memory so much easier than other days. Plus, I wanted to see if there were any tips or suggestions for how to make improvements to my overall memory as I get older.

This was a very short read, but a decently informative one for those interested in memory. I learned the basics, though I still have many questions. As with his other books, this one gives just an overview and shows me how much I still have to learn. But it has started me on the path to realizing where my shortcomings are and what I might need to do to begin making improvements. I do wish he went more in depth, though.

If you are like me and are interested in learning more about memory, memory loss, and improving memory retention, this is not a bad place to start - so long as you realize there is not a lot of substance beyond the basic introduction and overview. It was well written and I am glad I took the time to read through it.
