This book is perfect for the blues (or black clouds, as she calls them). It has a lot of anecdotal and practical solutions as well as ways to determine the reasons for the blues and has a list of signs to look for in oneself as well as in someone else. It offers ways to help another person in trouble, too. Biblical views are covered. I think it could be useful as a first step, but for true depression, clinical depression, there must be intervention and medical help. Just seeing the problem clearly does not solve depression!
