Amazing!!! The Commitment is the 4th book in The Promise Series and the final book telling us Sophie's story. Kate Benson wanted Sophie to go out on a high and let me tell you she did not dissapoint I definitely went on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading, you will need tissues to hand but this book also had me in fits of giggles too. The journey Sophie has taken to get to this amazing part in her life the good and the bad has been beautifully written and it's so sad it's come to an end. I can't wait to see what Kate gives us next.

OMG! This book was perfection! It was a beautiful story, and a wonderful ending to Chase and Sophie's story. I laughed a lot, and had my share of crying. I could not imagine the book any other way than it was. It was a home run, and so worth the wait. Simply amazing!

The Commitment is the 4th and final book for Sophie Ryan in The Promise series. You need to read the first three books in the series.Kate Benson has an amazingly gifted talent for writing. Kate has produced a series which will blow you away and in this last book there's no holding back, it will rock your world upside down. Sophie has had a hard life dealt to her, she's had so many downs and not many ups till she meet Chase, who changed her life for the better, and can she have her happy ever after who knows. Have a full box of tissues at the ready because believe me you will need them. Kate wanted to do Sophie proud with her final book. Kate has outstandingly written the most amazing final book Sophie could ask for. This series will always be deep in my heart, will miss reading about Sophie's story. Thank you Kate for the most heart melting story I have ever read. I look forward to seeing what you have planned next.

I'm not a fan of big books. In fact book 300 pages and over scare me. Every book in the Promise Series is a big book. When I first picked up the Promise Series, I was afraid that I would get bored with it. The Promise Series hooked me and I have read every one. The Commitment is book four in The Promise Series. It can not be read as a standalone, you must read the first three first. The Commitment is another big book (about 417 page). Kate Benson write her stories in such a way that you never get bored. Kate keeps you guessing on what will happen next. You would like after three long books that Sophie, Ana, Chase, Drake, and Jack won't have much more going on to fill 400 pages of story of a forth book but omg they do have a bunch more things going on.

I loved reading this story. It's great that we get several POVs. The epilogue left me wanting more Jack.

A copy was received for a review.

The book The Commitment continues where The Secret leaves off. Sophie and Anna have already gone through a lot throughout the series so far. The two of them experience a gamut of emotions and as a reader you do too.

I recommend that you read this book because it brings some clarity to relationships and how they come together or not. Awesome series! Must read!!!

This is the fourth and final book in the fabulous Promise series and follows on directly from The Secret.
I absolutely love Chase, Sophie and Jack and this book had so much expectations to live up to after the other three books but boy did it come up to scratch and then some.
I laughed, cried and cheered all the way through to the end and if you only read one series in 2014 please make it this one.
By the way Kate Benson, Jack so deserves his own book.

Let me just begin this review by saying how much I love Kate Benson! This woman is brilliant; she can move me to laughter then to tears in just a couple of sentences. When I had the opportunity to read her first book in the series, The Promise, I had no idea what a journey Kate and her wonderful characters would take me on. I have enjoyed every single minute of it.

I am not going to really give any synopsis of the book; I don’t want to spoil the twists and surprises Kate has in store for you. All I will say is this book picks up right where The Secret left off. As with all of Kate’s books, she picks up right where she left off in the previous book, so readers don’t have to wait too long to get some answers to the questions she always leaves us with in her books. I think she may be the reigning queen of cliffhangers, but I love it. And, don’t let the cliffhangers scare you off. They are brilliant in each of her books. She always leaves me wondering what direction she will go in next, and she never fails to amaze me. And, if you really hate cliffhangers, you can read the whole series now back-to-back.

I always think I cannot love her characters more than I did in the other books, but I do. It’s like a kinship you feel with her characters that just gets deeper with each book I read. I have thoroughly loved and enjoyed every moment with Sophie. As I began reading the first book in the series, The Promise, Sophie was a broken girl whom I thought would never find happiness again, yet she has grown into this amazing, strong, confident, beautiful woman who isn’t afraid anymore to give her heart freely. I liked that this book was written from several characters’ POVs. It was written with such detail into their emotions that I could feel them. I laughed with them, I got angry with them, and I cried with them. These are characters that will ALWAYS stay with me. Most importantly, it’s not just a book about love between a man and a woman. It’s a book filled with family. It’s not just blood that makes a family but a bond in the heart, in other words, soulmates. One character in the book had it right; soulmates aren’t just lovers and spouses, but they are people that have a part of your soul and your being forever…could be your sister or best friend. Words like that is what makes Kate such a special writer; she writes from the heart and you feel it!

I knew this was the last book in Sophie’s journey, and I had mixed emotions. I wasn’t sure how it would end, but I shouldn’t have worried. Of course, Kate did it in a wonderful, wonderful way. If you like books that speak to your heart and grab you and won’t let you go, you should really give this one a try. You won’t forget it! Books should be read in order, The Promise (Book 1), The Choice (Book 2), The Secret (Book 3), The Commitment (Book 4).

I have been reviewing Kates work from the start of this journey and wow this woman can write. She is a talented story teller. In this book the fourth in this series boy could I feel the emotions that Kate poured into this book. I shed tears and i laughed. I adored these characters that Kate has brought to life. Chase is just the most loveable book boyfriend I have ever met. Sophie is a wonderful character she never once made me dislike her I love her. I just loved them all and will be my go to book set when I want to shut myself away and get lost in a world of fiction.

Its so hard to write this review as I don't want to spoil it for anyone else. I want you to experience what I did as a reader. I could not wait to dive in and get the answers I needed to know that we were left hanging in the secret. For anyone who has not read the promise series I highly recommend it and hope you love it as much as I do. I rate this book 5 stars and I rate the whole set 5 stars.

The love and devotion between these couples is off the scales. I cried I laughed and I fell in love with them all.

Jack he was such a good man and amazing after all he had to endure. I loved how protective Sophie still was over Jack even though she had made her choice. Chase another amazing BB totally swoon worthy.

JT so sweet and when Chase was having the conversation about marriage I was a blubbing mess at the end of that little conversation.

Two beautiful love stories unfold with plenty of pain and heartache but so much loving to go with it.

One niggle was the five different pov's and I had to go back sometimes to recap on who's pov I was reading from. A little confusing but not enough to deter from the story.

Four beautiful and emotionally charged reads and at the end I see we have another to come. The Compromise Drake and Ana's story? hope so.

FRICKIN' FANTASTIC!!! I have a love/hate relationship with love triangles, I usually fall in love with both men and my heart breaks for the one who endures watching the other two together, in this case Chase & Jack, wow, my heart has been torn out...I don't know what to say except there can only be one and damn I wanted both :( I'm not going to enjoy "him" moving on so I probably won't even read it, I know, stupid huh?? I just get so into the characters they are real, (OH, AND DRAKE BABY, YUM AND DIRTY) I love the escapes reading gives me (majority of the time!) KATE I DON'T KNOW WHY THE COMMITMENT ISN'T LISTED WITH THE OTHER 3 BUT IT NEEDS TO BE SO EVERYONE KNOWS! I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS OUT BECAUSE OF THAT AND THANK GOD I STUMBLED ACROSS IT ON ACCIDENT...LOVE ALL 4, SO WORTH THE TIME PEOPLE!

I can't say enough about how much I love this series.

I've completely fallen in love with Chase, Sophie, Ana, Drake, and Jack. These characters have made me laugh, cry ( a lot ), and scream at their triumphs, trials, and tribulations.

So many times throughout this book I thought I may have total breakdown. Over the course of these first 4 books, I've become so connected to the character that I can't help but feel their pain as if it were my own. As my husband would attest to, on more than one occasion over the past 5 days he's been woken in the middle of the night to me openly sobbing over these books, or laughing uncontrollably haha. This is a testament to Kate's abilities as a writer. So thank you Kate, for telling their stories. I too hope that these characters never stop talking to you in that beautiful mind of yours. I can't wait to see what happens next.

BEST OF THE SERIES!!!!

Kate really outdid herself with the last of Sophie and Chase's story. I laughed, I cried, I yelled and she kept me intrigued the entire way through. You definitely won't be disappointed with this book. It's by far the best of her's to date. It will shock you, wow you, make you cry, but best of all it will make you feel exactly what her characters are feeling all the way through the entire book and that's something that not many people can get me to do.

Great job Kate!!!!!

The best way to describe this book is WOW! It was the perfect ending to an amazing series! Kate Benson never ceases to amaze me with her wonderful talent and her ability to make you go from laughing til you can't breathe to ugly snot crying in 2 seconds flat! If you want a series that'll make you laugh til you cry, sob til your heart hurts like you are actually experiencing the characters pain yourself, and swoon over the male characters like a 12 year old girl who's just met her all time celebrity crush all in the same book this is the go to series for sure!

This book was the perfect ending to Chase and Sophies story. It was an ugly cry but I wouldn't have had it any other way. This series is a must read and you won't get enough of the characters in this series. What a way to end the story of Chase and Sophie, and I look forward to more in this series.

This is the fourth book in the series and picks up where the third one left off. I highly recommend reading the first three especially the third one or you are going to be a little lost. This one starts right off the bat emotionally. Sophie and Ana both suffer another lose. One that will affect them maybe more than the last one they suffered. JT Sophie's godson is affected which brings out the mommy bear in Sophie. I had to have tissues while reading this one. Kate wrote it beautifully and brought out every single emotion that she could possibly get.
But at the same time while Sophie and Ana are dealing with this loss, there is still the major issue of who is pregnant? Which is a tough issue for Sophie to face. I absolutely love how Kate touched on this subject while writing this one. She does it with such carefulness. Her writing shines in this one. If I wasnt a fan of her writing before this book I am a huge one after this book. There is laughter, tears, so many different emotions. I laughed through this one. There are so many moments in this one where you cant help but laugh out loud. It just keeps getting better and better.
Will Sophie and Chase finally get a happy ever after? What is going to happen with Ana and Drake? What is going to happen with Jack? Hold on for quite the ride in this ride. But a ride I would not trade for anything. Another amazing book in this wonderful series.

At Last

Yes they did it, beautifully written, but your emotions definitely go through it with this series, love it, you will need tissues from the get go, but no matter where this series takes you you will fall in love, weather its Chase and Sophie or Drake and Ana, or even Jack it will have you gripped. I cannot wait to see what happens next. Also think we need Matt's story.

I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author Kate Benson. This is book 4 of the Promise series by the author.

Sophie Ryan is trying to deal with a lot of heartbreaking things lately and she has been trying to come to grips with everything. Sometimes she wonders if trying to deal with things is the right thing to do or maybe she should just throw every out the window.

I like the characters in the book but I had a hard time with it being from so many characters POV. Sophie, Chase, Ana, Drake, Jack I almost lost who the lead character was. If it had been only 1 or 2 I think it would have read better.

This book is for mature romance book readers. This book is not going to be for everyone. This is book 4 of the series and the books should be read in order.
