Armed with new knowledge about the sexy demons who pursue her, Adeline Pond decides to stop running and confront them with an offer of her own. But will her carefully laid plans get her into more trouble than she bargained for, or will Adie finally get back on her feet and back to planning her bakery?
Join Adie on her (mis)adventures towards achieving a quasi-normal life among humans.
Pacific Northwest author L.L. Frost writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance with snarky characters and descriptive world-building. Whether she's writing a fast burn romance about witches, wolf shifters, and vampires, or teasing a slow burn romance while hunting demonic monsters, her passion is for character driven novels.
Growing up in a rainforest gave L.L. Frost plenty of time to daydream while spending cozy days under a blanket with her cats by her side. Sipping tea or chugging coffee, you can find her with a book or laptop in hand, imagining new worlds.
On the one hand, I wanted to let these books be, wait till they collected and then read them like a normal full length story. On the other hand, I see a new book come out and my hands start itching to grab it. Guess which side won out. But, while I liked the serial this far, The terms was a complete disappointment. I mean, nothing happens here. I just waisted thirty minutes reading about nothing. What was the point?
His actions don't feel sexual, though, which confuses me. "So the storm's recharging you or something?" "She's wooing me." His head lifts, and when I glance up, I find his eyes focused on the ceiling, as if he can see through the house to the sky beyond. "She's small, but she wants to be bigger."
Seriously - the worldbuilding so far in this serial has been awesome. I'm totally digging the demons and how they are presenting, and I'm excited to see how our favorite succubus learns to fit in with them.
"Whoa, there." Kellen shoves half a croissant into my mouth, effectively cutting off my words. He nudges my chin and mimes chewing. "Now isn't that better than fighting?"
This particular installment in the story features a lot more of Kellan than the other MMCs. What do we know about Kellan? but time will tell!
I know the call of a siren when I hear it. Destruction waits in the sky, a cruel mistress ready to rip me apart to feed herself. I shove the energy into my belly and Emil's power, already there, curls around it, restraining it with an icy swiftness that leaves my legs shaky.
And thus, Addie starts earning her roommate status...
I REALLY like this story, and I'm very slowly getting used to the idea of serials, but this one is just so short! If they're gonna be this short, I wish it came out more often. Anyways, I still am really into this story, and it was nice getting to know the characters a little more, Emil in particular in this episode. It seems like the guys will all be distinct, which is great for an RH. I really think that when this serial is complete, it will be a 5 star for me, I just can't bring myself to give 5 stars to something so short yet.
This is a fun, salty little serial. I feel like we got more time to know more about the guys in this one. As always I want more but that just had me looking forward to next month.
Adie is a succubus who may have rushed a little when it came to getting a human body. Which has caused her not to be able to enter the dream world by herself, as other succubi can do. This has also made it hard to feed herself but she's only willing to skim and feed on demons as a last resort.
Adie has a plan but opening a bakery she will feed on the happy people with skimming she won't need to worry about feeding herself. The only thing standing in her way just happens to be three powerful demons who are determined to get more than just a deal out of her. In order to open her bakery, they want her to feed off them but at what cost? Will she survive a Bargain with the trio? Will she get her bakery?
I've had my eye on this series for a while but waited till a few more came out before diving right in. The reverse harem concept is growing in popularity and I'm becoming a quick fan. As the series is short novellas I figured it was better to combine them together plus that way I wouldn't be giving anything away. I love Adie she's a great character you can't help cheering her on as she overcomes everything that is thrown at her. At first, I wasn't sure about our demon trio but the more we get to know them the more I like them. I'm curious to see how this is all going to work out. I highly recommend this quick read series it's easy to get lost and read them all in just a few short hours. One of my new favorites and I can't wait for the next one to come out.
The Terms is the third installment of the Succubus Bargain. I was conflicted over my review of this episode. The agreement is promising. I like Adeline. I feel that she is trying her best to stand up for herself and make the best of her circumstances. I didn't like the men in this one. Tobias just came across as an a** that I wouldn't bother with and Kellen is too much of a player to be trusted. Emil is the only one that seemed to have a bit of character development. I saw a spark in him for the first time. The bathroom/hot chocolate scene was wonderful. With the short length of these episodes, if the men don't get more flushed out and become likable it will be hard for me to go any further into story. Energy transfers and sex are secondary to a connection to me. However, I'm still intrigued enough at this point to continue. I want this to work! Adie seems like she may be the only sweet character in the demon world and I want her to be happy. If she wants a bakery, if she wants these men, I want her to have them! I want to see her get under these three demon's skin; I want her to make them feel again. Obviously, I'm hooked; I will be reading Book 4.
After visiting the demon library and with a little bit of help from the librarian Adie has acquired some information that should prove helpful in getting her from being "homeless" to having a place to call home without winding up a "slave" to the three demons who want her. The Terms is a good addition to this bite sized collection series. Adie is getting some backbone, but I need that attitude to get in check. I can understand one of the guys getting annoyed with her for staying in the shower for an hour and using up all the heat. Yeah, she was homeless, but it's also called being CONSIDERATE Adie!!! Something that she expects from them! Double standard much? Now, this book is super short so you blink and it's over, but...it is enjoyable.
In The Terms I found we get more info behind the three sexy demons. The third continuation was utterly delightful as I found myself waiting on pins and needles for it! L.L. Frost has no idea the excitement I feel when another part of the serial is released, (I think she knows I’m obsessed however). The ending for The Terms though is what had my mouth gaping open! Oh my goodness does L.L. know how to end a story or what?! The very last line has me wondering how Adie will fair in the next adventure with the guys!
I really am enjoying this series and thus only gave it a 4 star review due to that fact. However, this book was short it's not worth effort. Two whole things happen apart from the scene that ended the last book. I'm really disappointed at the length and may choose to not read any more of this series if the next book isn't quite a bit longer.
If you paid for this book (because I have kindle unlimited) I would say don't waste your money to buy this--until at least a bundle comes out. Good writing and story, terrible in terms of length.
As usual after devouring the newest installment from Ms. Frost I'm left feeling happy and annoyed. Happy because the writing was fun and intriguing but annoyed because the serial is very brief and updates feel far apart. In the end I'm going to continue with Adie because I really like her and the mess(of delicious men) she's landed in and Me. Frost has me locked in tight since book 1.
I love this serial, I am so busy at times that a serial is what I need.
This serial had me hooked from the beginning and it is getting better and better. I always look forward to the next installment and I relish the wait between them as it makes me so happy when I get it
The storyline is different and fresh, it leaves me wanting more after each part. Grab a coffee and have a read, I highly recommend this book
The third installment of LL Frost's Succubus serial is just as fun as the first two. I'm completely hooked. They may be quick reads, but they are amusing and have just the right dose of curiosity mixed with bad luck to make me want more. Adie has a plan, but will three sexy demon's agree to it? And will her new living arrangements be more trouble than she fist thought? The kitchen alone might be worth it! I highly suggest reading this serial. It's funny!
I am really enjoying this story, but the little parts are just too short. I can't wait to see how Adie's living situation with the three demons works out. Have a feeling that it's going to get very interesting...especially with Kellen. Anxiously awaiting September's story!
These novellas are fun to read, light quick reads with a hint of approaching sex but it never materialises instead we get the by play between our incubus and the demons who need her to skim their energy and help them stay corporeal. She's agreed to live with them but no mention of sex.
You have to read this serial in order!!! This is the third installment. I do wish it would come out a little quicker. This one has Adie moving in with the three a-hole demons. I personally hope she brings them to their knees!!
This installment was just enough to tide me over until next months release. I am loving the story! Looking forward to more smexy time with the guys. Things are starting to get interesting! Five glittery stars!
I truly love this series but I absolutely hate how short they are and how long I have to wait for the next short installment. It's kind of annoying to wait for what would amount to an episode
I didn't realize I read all 5 parts in a combined book, review can be read on the first book.
Disappointed that after searching for a while for just the right book, I find these, read them and the discover that it's less than 200 pages in total. With a cliffhanger too.
I feel like I only get a little sip and then I have to wait for the next one. It's killing me that they are so good though. Just as good and keeps me wanting more.
Another great episode. Another ending to soon. Last time i told myself i will wait and read them all when they are all releases but i couldnt help myself
