This was a random book purchase from my job and basically what attracted me by it was on wondering how this book would tell me to have a good day. Tucked in with the other Christian-inspired books my bf convinced me to get it to spoil myself since I had been putting in some extra hours at work and so most definitely deserved it.
Anyway it was one of those nice and lazy days where I was actually relaxing before actually probably more or less getting called in. As I started to lazily flip through the pages my eyes noticed that the suggestions given were easy and didn't ask the reader to go too far out to fulfill them so I started to read them out as suggestions to my bf while then choosing that since they were short and simple I may do a quick read to him.
Unlike other inspirational books this one understands that many readers aren't able to go out and spend a lot or even to do something big and luxurious to meet the needs of a mere suggestion. Instead the book explores the fact of doing what you can to change the world and to make yourself even more happy with just simple acts that can be related to any Christian or even those of other religions who are seeking to make themselves better as well as the world around them.
Each suggestion is given with a number then a bold suggestion before explaining in very quick details some more information if the reader is interested. To foot the page there is a biblical verse that is also included with the book, chapter and verse included although not all of them are taken from the KJV Bible.
All in all this is one of the better inspirational books that I have come across while I am still debating about keeping it since there is someone special in mind who would also appreciate this book. I must give some more thought to this latter situation and eventually make-up my own mind on it.
