Determined to put his torturous thoughts and fantasies of a nonexistent female behind him, Jazon volunteers for a dangerous mission. He must discover and capture the scientist responsible for the creation of treacherous clones being used to threaten both the Imperial family and the peace of the Parvac Empire. Jazon’s mission takes him to the Laconian Sector where he discovers a beautiful Laconian scientist desperately seeking answers to her father’s death. As a genetically engineered hybrid soldier viewed in that sector of space as an abomination, he’ll have to earn her trust. However, the woman isn’t his only problem. Staying alive against mutated virus strains and a deadly assassin may be too much even for a telepathic warrior of Jazon’s skill.

This was a very good story. I liked both Tracy and Jazon and enjoyed their story.

Tracy is a Laconian female scientist who's father recently died. Tracy is a biologist who was following in her father's footsteps but when he died, her mother ended up with a man that doesn't feel right to Tracy. When Tracy stumbles upon evidence that her new step-father may be responsible for her father's death, Tracy starts to investigate herself.

Jazon is a Laconian hybrid, a cross between alien races, Eriopis and Enyo. One race is telepathic and the other is empathetic and through normal methods, the crossing of the 2 races would have ended in a miscarriage but a scientist engineered Jazon and his brothers in a lab. Jazon is now sworn to the Parvac Empire and is sent on a mission to find the scientist that's been manufacturing clones.

Tracy follows some clues to a hidden lab and is there trying to find more clues when Jason finds the lab as well. The initial reaction of both Tracy and Jazon makes their beginning difficult. Jazon thinks that Tracy is a scientist that is part of the clone making project so he arrests her (while she's passed out) and confines her to his ship and leaves the planet. Tracy has heard all sorts of horrible things about hybrids and when she wakes up and finds that she's been kidnapped by a hybrid, she's majorly freaked and fears the worst.

Jazon does learn the truth about Tracy and then asks her to work with him. Tracy is leery but does soon realize that Jazon isn't quite what she expected and might be trustworthy. Jazon is able to feel her emotions towards him but in the beginning, they weren't all good so he blocked himself from sensing her and didn't realize when things began to change. There are some difficulties but Tracy and Jazon turn things around and eventually come together. There's still some major non-relationship crap going on that needs to be handled but by the end, everything is worked out and Jazon and Tracy are starting on a HEA together.

This was a very enjoyable story. I liked Tracy and thought she was a pretty good heroine. Jazon was a little bit of a downer at first but I liked him once the misunderstandings had been cleared up. Overall, I liked the characters very much and thought the story was good and decently engaging so I'd recommend it. :)

Took me a while to warm up to Jazon. He was an asshole until he realized he was invested and then his 180 made my lip curl.

Otherwise it was a good story if a bit "insta-love."

Another great book in this series

Jazon, first known to Teagan as Knife has finally met his match. A powerful Laconian hybrid on a mission from the Parvacian government that has taken him and his brothers in and he turns to complete mush over his sweet mate.
Tracy, the daughter of a scientist shrouded in controversy, runs into Jazon while on his mission. Mistaken identity, genetic altering, clones, ice bears, zombies and other adventures ensue while they learn to trust each other and their budding relationship.
It's always fun to read about these fierce warriors becoming mush in the hands of their loves. Although, as Tracy's brother stated, it's good that Jazon is brave. Otherwise all the creepy doll eyes would send him screaming lol.

Continue saga of series

This is a continuing saga of the "the space Merchant's" book series by Wendie Nordgren. Omens Videntes means to see all. It's an easy read for an afternoon. It's an off shoot from the series and I would suggest you read them beforehand but not required, it will give you the back ground for this book though of the men involved and the plight. I've enjoyed all the series and I can say a young lady around 18 or older would find it enjoyable with a little sexy time but does not go into great detail but it does highlight it in a very loving and gentle way.
