This is my first read by this author and I really enjoyed it.

This is book one in the Surrender Series. We meet Katherine Anderson who goes to Italy on honeymoon by herself after her fiancé breaks her heart. There she meets Tony who is not all as he seems.

I thought this was a really well written romantic suspense story. I literally read it in one sitting as I didn't want to put it down. Looking forward to reading more from this author and this series.

Kept me on the edge of my seat!

I loved this suspense romance. I am not a very big fan of stories narrated in third person. But this one got my attention from the very beginning and kept it all through the end.

Katherine leaves on her honeymoon to Italy by herself after a heartbreaking event with her fiancé. Needing to get away from New York she flees for the change in scenery where she meets Tony.
Tony who is fleeing from unknown threats after his whole family is murdered, needs to get out of the country and watch his back at every turn. Finding opportunity in the beautiful American tourist as way out, he also finds that the chemistry between them can not be ignored either.
The more time they spend together their attraction seems to grow, but so does the risk for both of them. Not knowing who to trust they move on their own to follow the steps Tony's father set out for him as an escape plan. How far will they get by themselves when the cartel and corrupt police are chasing after them?
Totally recommend this book. Not only is it easy to follow but the suspense just pulls you in the more you read. Can't wait for the next book in this trilogy!

This was quite a good read although I found it difficult to completely warm to Tony and Katherine.
Tony stalks and manipulates Katherine at beginning and uses her throughout much of the story. He also lacks in the hero department when Katherine's life is in danger in the later part of the book.
I found Katherine to be naive and too trusting. I thought she behaved rather oddly in continuously aggravating her kidnapper even though she knew how crazy and violent he was.

This is the first in the series but the story ends in a way that leaves me quite happy to treat it as a standalone novel.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reading copy.

This is the first book in a new series, and what a story it is! This storyline is filled with action, suspense, romance, and revenge against the people who obliterated our characters family. When he is offered help from a woman, things do not go as planned, and they both end up on the run.
This is a great read, and I was hooked and intrigued from the very beginning. Looking forward to reading the next book in this amazing series.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I wasn't disappointed!
such a great start to a new series, this book is filled with action, suspence romance, and at times you didn't know who's side the characters were on.
In this book you meet Katherine and Tony who is a gentleman but his motives in the beginning aren't what you first think, poor Katherine seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I want to know what happens in this book, but I'm at chapter 7 and I just can't get into this author's style. The dialogue is driving me insane, and personally, I think the author needs to work on honing their craft to remove unnecessary details and quicken the pace so things don't drag. I found conversations to be too close to everyday life, they didn't move things along and instead stalled the story. Because of this, I'm choosing not to finish it, despite wanting to see where the plot goes.
