This volume contains ch 27 to 35.
A new character is introduced, Nogiku, along with her backstory.
The writer really knows how to torture the characters. Also, some characters in the series, like Nogiku's father, are so abominable.
One thing I take away from this volume, the one I loved the most is the panel where the two sisters are shown in contrast to each other. One thinks that beauty is a blessing and another thinks that beauty is a curse.
And you can see it is true for both.

Tom czwarty serii to mieszanka „piękna”, które potrafi przybrać najróżniejsze oblicza (nawet czasem dosyć przerażające). Kolejny raz autorka decyduje się zaprezentować odbiorcy bardziej urokliwą stronę głównej bohaterki (przynajmniej do czasu). Kasane jako Nina Tanzawa otrzymuje główną rolę w przedstawieniu. Kiedy wychodzi ona na scenę i może zaprezentować swoje niezwykłe aktorskie talenty, naprawdę promienieje. W jej grze i scenicznym zachowaniu jest coś wręcz magicznego (nie dosłownie), co zniewala zarówno widzów, jak i innych aktorów. Stopniowo zaczyna się ona przyzwyczajać do swojego nowego życia. W tym momencie autorka mangi postanawia mocno wstrząsnąć zarówno swoją bohaterką, jak i czytelnikami. Wszystko za sprawą wprowadzenia do historii nowej kobiecej postaci.
Pojawienie się Nogiku powoduje prawdziwą falę niepokoju i przerażenia (u Kasane) oraz ciekawości (u czytelnika). Nowa postać jest bowiem przyrodnią siostrą Kasane. Dzięki niej mamy okazję dowiedzieć się więcej szczegółów dotyczących ich matki i kobiety, której ukradła ona twarz. Każdy nowy pojawiający się szczegół podbija mroczny klimat historii, jednocześnie powodując, że w umyśle czytelnika pojawiają się kolejne fabularne pytania. Obok tego wszystkiego autorka porusza tutaj wiele trudnych tematów czasem bardzo skrajnych kwestii) będących społecznym tabu (kazirodztwo, prostytucja). Niezwykle ekscytujące jest to, jak umiejętnie lawiruje ona pomiędzy mrocznymi fragmentami a scenami ukazującymi codzienne życie. Na temat rysunków nie ma sensu mocniej się rozpisywać. Nadal prezentują się one znakomicie i stanowią doskonałe uzupełnienie historii (z masą udzielających się czytelnikowi emocji).

La présence d'un nouveau personnage, surtout de Nogiku qui campe un rôle très spécial, est une excellente chose. Le récit gagne encore davantage en intérêt et on sent que ça va apporter beaucoup à la série.

La comparsa di Nogiku è stata davvero emozionante e sono già sicura che diventerà il mio personaggio preferito. Meraviglioso già dal primo accenno il suo profilo psicologico, come quello di tutti gli altri personaggi. La cura e la delicatezza con cui viene trattata la dimensione della psiche in questa serie è fantastica.

On ne comprenait rien au début du Manga. Je me sentais tellement perdu et je ne comprenais plus qui était qui....
Au final, une fois que la révélation sur qui est le personnage arrive, ce manga devient juste WOAW.
La psychologie des personnages et tout le contexte qui les entourent est à la fois dérangeant et très bien recherché.

Alright, this one gets pretty dark. Bit less into the storyline here, especially at the start. But near the end it gets more exciting and easier to follow. A new plot thread starts and I wonder where it will lead.

Now that Nogiku, a new foil for Kasane, is introduced, the stakes are continuing to rise. I loved seeing the internal conflict Kasane had between her ambition and her love for Nogiku. Overall, a great addition to the story that shows how much we truly rely on one another as human beings.

I.. Dalej nie mam pojęcia, co tak naprawdę sądzę o tej mandze. To co jest zaletą jednej strony, szybko staje się wadą drugiej, a sama fabuła jest tak prowadzona, że wciąż niepokoi mnie ilość tomów.

Kasane has proven in the last four volumes that just when you think things are tense, it’s gets even more nail biting! Volume 4 brings Nogiku into the story, a character I didn’t expect, that reveals a lot about Kasane’s mother. Kasane was already walking a fine line and on the cusp of being found out but now with Nogiku, I don’t think there is any way this story could have a happy ending. I predict this will be a manga where no one truly “wins”. It feels something akin to watching a car crash, you know what’s going to happen but you can’t do anything to change it. This series does could with a few trigger warnings so if your sensitive to topics of su*cide, abuse, and r*pe I don’t recommend this read. This volume, along with the whole series so far has been gripping yet almost uncomfortable to read at times. The plot is just incredibly unnerving yet I was on the edge of my seat.
