For the most part I liked this volume, it's just that the last main chapter (ch 8) wasn't all that great, and took the drama to a whole new level of odd. Uni's dad was too ridiculous, I couldn't take anything he said seriously, even when he was trying to be more serious it still felt like a joke on his part, which is a shame because that plotline could've been way more dramatic and interesting than it was. Adding a whole kidnapping plotline on top of the annoying dad made for an unpleasant experience, at least the ending was sweet though.

However, the other three were really good, I especially loved the one focused on Uni's birthday, the cake, balloons and candles really made for a nice ambiance, and that text really sealed the deal for me, I mean talk about swoon worthy!

The little mention of Sakurai's ex has my interests peaked, can't wait to see!

A New Favorite Shoujo

Th is series has worked its way into being one of my favorite shoujo. Yuni is just so cute despite her weirdness. I love Haruka, too. Yuni's family is awesome, too.
